The land of Punt was mostly in Somalia according to the Baboon remains and the frankincense found in tombs and temples. The frankincense trees were more eastern than what was portrayed on your map. Furthermore, there is no evidence of Axum having a presence in Somalia. There are no artifacts or buildings made by them in Somalia. There are plenty of Persian, Greek, Egyptian, and Sabean artifacts in Somalia but no Axumite artifacts. If you ever do revise this video, you should take note of those two mistakes.

We need to heal and realize we are the property class, and have to take ownership of our land, and tend to it and be responsible adults and stop killing. We have to have Peace, respect, love and space. You have Mogadishu/ PuntLand/ Somaliland they are just states in the country of Somali. The land and states are fine with their flags. Rare time I've ever seen non-somalis put this much attention to detail on videos like this
Overall, the video is quite amazing, but theirs Alooooot of mistakes
    - punt stretched across most of the northern tip of the horn, it was predominantly cushitic later north eastern cushitic, the eastern portion broke off and become it's own kingdom and later decentralized into a bunch of warring trading city states who settled across the coastal horn, axumites were just descendants of semite migrants who took advantage of the collapse of punt.
    - Axumites never made it anywhere near somali trading cities. In fact, they competed with them greatly, even having their capital city adulis sacked by avalite pirates
    - axumites never made it past djibouti, let alone the obock region mostly staying in the afar regions of eritrea and fighting ethiopian and other semitic tribes in southern Arabia
    - Harla was a mostly Somali tribe. They migrated further inland, the interior of the horn settling and building major cities and later becoming the first islamic rulers in the region
    - you completely forgot to include the ifat who governed most of North Central somalia ???
    - There is no such thing as the ajuraan sultanate it was just called the sultanate of mogadishu as the capital city was like rome, the dynastic rulers always governing from the capital city
    - you skipped past a huge amount of ifat history of conquests against the ethio-semite tribes
    - the conquests of Imam ahmed gurey were legendary he made it as far as North Eastern somalia all the way to Southern sudan in the city of suakin even raiding the funj sultanate and taking many slaves
    - aussa was a regional power that wasn't directly governed by the Ottomans
    - ethiopians never controlled the ogaden until post 1950s
    - the dervish state was a legitimate state, not some sort of rebellion, as it's made to look in this video
Lastly, the language map at the end is completely wrong, af maay or the maay dialect is a somaloid dialect no different to italian and romanian being derivatives of latin, thats a map of regional dialects not languages

Somalia was never united until 1960, and it will never unite until they all break up first and work under a friendly union of horn African countries like a EU type of block that helps eachother out to out perform everyone else. Only then will there be peace and a common goal to make the horn of Africa very wealthy again.

      @acacius9903 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@hararemedia liar. There was clear borders but people loved eachother and helped eachother out while respecting everyones borders. That how the Somalis united with other regions like Oman and Yemen to fight back other imperial maniacs that wanted to steal the lands. Somalis needs to go back in their separate Sultanates and Kingdkms and help eachother out when others attack 1 of the other Somali Sultanates, kingdoms and countries. Because putting all those clans together in 1 country doesn't work and never did work.

Main article: Somali tribes and indigenous people Madjan means leather tanning and hunting Somali tribes are divided into three tribal groups: Darod, Hawiye, and a group of small indigenous tribes (Mdjan).
It is not necessary that all tribes are included in these groups, as we will show.
Somalis are known for preserving their genealogies, so you will find the young one knows his lineage to his great-grandfather, and most Somalis are of Arab origin, especially these three tribes: Darod, Ishaq (who are from Bani Hashim), and Judaburisi. The great-grandfather of the Dar tribes is also believed to have no Arab origins and is descended from the Somali Err, who is African.
The great-grandfather of the Somali tribes was named Mohammed Riwon, after the Somali tribes that inhabit, especially southwestern Somalia, and the rest of these tribes that we mentioned are affiliated with these tribes.

I intercept for some reasons,eg,it seems as if the somalis migrated from egypt and their fast one to be the ajuran bcz this name is not his real name ,it is the work he has been used for, that he made bio literal agreement wih the by then abisinian King to seeck refuge telling him that not only him and his family but many ,so any Somali coming from the side of egypt where by he was granted with the condition of paying a small taxe . that is why he was to be called, ajuran - meaning taxe collecter,so any Somali who step in the soil of Ethiopia had to pay through this man.the Somali people called him ajuran, meaning the taxi collecter.this before there dynasty.that time the somalis were not called somalis , they were called ijjy or qibddeen , the name Somali came from them to be explained to the king that this one's are other new comers also .bythen the word was to be SOIMAAD meanth migrants in the ancient Egyptian language.igot many proves but will continue from there Inshaallah

They went to the UN in 1964 claiming this same idea but were rejected by the United Nations and other African countries and it was declared that no Somali territory was ever a part of Ethiopia at any point in history until the English gave them the Ogden behind Somalia's back. For most of the slaves which are now found in the hands of merchants who resort to these parts are taken from the tribes of which we speak.
