this is peak, one of the best mapping videos on the platform. only criticism would be that the map seems at a lower resolution than the rest of the video but it's not a big deal. Amazing work, should have millions of views
@@basilbourtchua Honestly your style is by far the best of all the mappers, but yeah I'd use something else other than powerpoint for making these videos, for mapping especially of this detail it's a shame to have the resolution so low. This is very well made. Only things I would change are to show the evolution of the coastline around Sabkha Matti over time (it used to be ocean), and fix some of the cities: Zranka is considered by almost all scholars to have been located at the archeological site of Dahan-e Gholaman, also, the city of Carmania seems to be missing from the map.
I don't think such large lake existed in Iran that late in history. The large lake in the center of Iran had already dried up as early as 20,000 years ago. There was a large lake called lake Saveh about twice lake Urmia which survived into the Sassanid period.
Two new civilizations have been discovered in Iran, the Arete civilization and the Burnt Shahr civilization, which date back to about 7000 years BC, and Iran has reached 7000 years BC from 3200 years BC.❤🇮🇷💯
Even if I disagree with your historical interpretation (to me, the biblical chronology hypothesis is the most accurate, (the great central lake, by exemple, is clearly a post-flood consequence, in a more rainy climate, near 3600/3000 BC), I want to thank you, because the map is beautiful, wonderfuly long, with hypnotic music
