I would also recommend to read on the extinct famous ethnic group known as the Harla (believed to have assimilated into to the Oromo ethnic group, hence Oromos are majority in their historic regions such as Harar, Dire Dawa etc). They had one of the most impactful effects on Islam and the spread of it in the region. Their Islamic sultanate contained Zayla, and they are considered the real natives of the Hararge region (Zayla, Dire Dawa, Harar etc). Arab historians mention them a lot in their manuscripts.
Oromo are not native to East Haraghe, archeological digs around Harar show similar finds as those found in North Somali and camel bones dating to the 5th century, the only group to own camels and was native to the region is Somalis, the Harla were probably settled Somalis, since they already distinguish themselves apart likr the tumaal who are black smiths and the Somal who are nomadic herders. Islam was spread in the region by mostly Somali saints like Awbare, which is the same name of the city in Hararo valley.
Harla were mainly annihilated by the Abbysinians when the Adari people refused to shelter them inside the fort of Harar after the death of the Imam Ahmed Guray.. What is left of them had to face the danger of extinction because of the - non-muslim then- Oromo Expantion, and had to take refuge with Somali Eissa Clan and became "Xarla subclan of Ciise".. The last remaing Village of "pure" Harla was facing Oromaisation for the last two decades.

There are signs of monotheism in their ancient belief of Eebe-Waaq and I would say the far off ancient time they most probably came from one of the sons of prophet Nuh A.S. As time went by people made changes to the original monotheism of Islam and ended up with polytheistic ideas. ☘
Aadam AS was not Somali. How can he be so when he is the father of all of mankind? There was no country when Allah sent him down to the earth. Come on now, don’t say things that cannot make sense in any way
I truly believe Islam destroyed our culture. For example, I did not know, qoo-meyo was the name used for ancient, Somali priestess. I believe it's because of Islam why we now use qoo-meyo in such a derogatory way. Also, why do we call the Oromo, Galla when we also call a non-Muslim, Galla? Lastly, the Nubian/Egyptian god, Set's scepter/stick of power was known as the "Was Scepter." It was a symbol of power, dominion and control. Whats funny is, in Somali, "Was," means, "to get fucced," as in something has dominanted you or over powered you, hence, to get fucced. I know this has it origins from Ancient Egyptian language because Somali's use a lot of ancient Egyptian words. For example we call the sun "qor-rah" which literally means the neck of Rah. The ancient Egyptians used to call Somalia, Ta-Neter which means the Land of the Gods, (us). Ancient Egyptians viewed ancient Somalia as their ancestral and spiritual homeland. In the Payprus of Hunefer, (The Book of the Dead) it states the origin of the ancient Egyptians as being the Great Lakes region (Lake Turkana). The Payprus of Hunefer states, "We came from the beginning of the Nile were God Hapi dwells, at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon." (Great Lakes Region). Also in ancient Egypt's, "Book of the Heavenly Cow," Ra sends Hathor and seven goddess in total to support the heavens in the form of cows. The ancient Egyptians viewed the cow as a sacred animal. I believe the original Hindus were Cushites and that is were the Hindus got their beliefs about the cow being sacred. It comes from Africa. In Somali mythology, the universe is said to be balanced on the horns of a bull, which is always staring at a cow tied to a pole in front of it. If the cow looks away from the bull, the Earth experiences natural disasters. Hail Waaq the God of the Cushites. Hail RA. Hail Set. Hail Thyself the Cushite Gods of Africa!!! So be it, it is DONE!!!
I'm sorry but Islam existed before your history research. Islam existed 1400years ago and the ' eebe " you are saying is Allah in just a different language.and the " ayaanle" you are calling spirits is angel Jibril ( Gabriel). So, lemme tell you. Somali knew Islam before being correctly spread. Somalia were Muslims but they didn't know the correct way like they did (superstition) so, after coming of arab traders, Islam was correctly spread because The Arabs knew better back then because the religion was kinda arabic and most prophets in Islam were arab.but that still doesn't mean Arabs own the religion, they just spread it out by the will of Allah. And the reason why the Holy book ( Quran) was revealed in arab is so that we understand. Evidence( Surah Yusuf: ayah 3) so, historians should stop misleading pple and so should you.thank U.😊
You can’t just rewrite history🤣 you’re either stupid or misinformed. Either way, Somalis have existed way before Islam and there’s historical evidence that suggests Waaq was the religion of Somalis back in the day. Nothing but a business transaction and now in present day, we got people blowing themselves and others up in the name of Islam. Haa iiska haadlin. Do ur research
Waaqefanna is originally an Oromo religion @historyun.. it is not originally a Somali religion please get your facts straight, my first fact is how can a population of roughly 20-30 million Somalis claim Waaqefanna when there is a population of almost 70-80 million oromos estimate, also Oromos have their own ancient Political system which was derived from Waaqefanna called the “Gadaa System” the first ever democratic system in all of Africa, also please check out General Henry Rawlison and his claim of using the Oromo language to decipher The Sumerian Cuneiform Lexicon text, and also Prophet Abraham knew about Waaqefanna and the Oromos that practiced this religions, also why do you think that the Oromos have the biggest state of land central to Ethiopia with all surrounding regions to it, which is also why Christianity and Judaism found its way to Ethiopia next to the Oromo region because the Oromos are the central de facto original human beings factored into which they have the central monotheistic religion at that ancient time known as Waaqefanna

You went from one pagan religion to another pagan religion.
Thats why Somalia is so poor, its Gods judgment
But how bout the worship of stone kaaba? It is a know fact that pagan qureshi people worshiped stones, and Muhammed when invited the Mecca wanted to keep The worship of this one stone

@@Somali.National.Movement his is not exclusively a Somali god but rather a heretical pagan pre-Abrahamic deity among all Somalis and other closely related groups. This belief system dates back to a time when it was prevalent among all the savanna Neolithic pastoral people inhabiting the Horn of Africa and East Africa, including both Northern Cushites, Eastern Cushites, and Southern Cushites. This encompasses groups such as the Somali, Beja, Oromo, Afar, Sidama, Gabbra, Borana, Rendille, El-Molo, Iraqw, Tutsi-Hima, Hema, Ganwa, and Banyamulenge.
Your worldview is so wrapped up and narrowed down by Islamization and your Somali identity that you can barely comprehend the timeline, ethnic makeups, and the fact that an Habar Yoonis Isaaq Somali is genetically less related to a Hawiye or Ajuraan than to a Harari in Ethiopia.
Somalis are not ethnically homogeneous. They share common ancestors with other Afro-Asiatic-speaking people that derived from two distinct population groups in the Upper Nile: a Proto-Nilotic and an Eurasian group, thousands of years before the advent of Islam.
Waaq and tincaaro was old somali god that was believed
So we were brainwashed?
Not really what my theory is that we were sent a prophet to preach mootheism and then when the prophet ﷺ came he was sent to mankind instead of a a certain region or people so Islam was a universal divine law instead of a regional law or belief
To say we out brainwashed is saying that Islam is less then the old religion of Islam and that your not pleased with it please repent to God

Thank you bro, Waaqa “the monotheistic Black-Sky God” is pride for Global Black Race. Although it is today only popular & reviving in Oromo theology, it is the 1st theology/religion on earth. Consider its variants: Celtic Wicca; Ancient Babylonian their Sun-God Achad; Egyptians solar deity was Aka or Aku; SKelts [Celts], Auggh, Agh or Achad is the sacred field and a Divine name; Ancient Inca Huaca or Wak’a, a religious concept that involves cosmic order, religion especially ancestral spirituality, and their sacred places of worship which involves places of giant ancient pyramids; Japanese Black god Xaca; the Hindu god of battle Mahākāla, from maha ‘great’ and kala ‘black’ (NB: Oromo theology is called Qaalluu and the officiant is also Qaalluu, both substantive from qaa ‘black’); the Zulu God Unkulunkulu means ‘Old, Old, One’; the Aku ‘God’ of the Jukun people of Nigeria. Added to these are: Hawaiian Akua ‘’God’; Fijian Waqa ‘the shrine of a god’ or Kalou ‘God’ or Dakuwaqa ‘God’, daku means ‘black’; Babylonian Kalu ‘Priest’; in Egyptian texts, Phoenicia/Kush is called ‘the country of Khal or khalu’
ew we got no relation to black people. dont mix our history with you sad people
There are signs of monotheism in their ancient belief of Eebe-Waaq and I would say the far off ancient time they most probably came from one of the sons of prophet Nuh A.S. As time went by people made changes to the original monotheism of Islam and ended up with polytheistic ideas. ☘
So, this is what my ancestors used to worship-
Oromos still celebrate waqafeecha

Come on now, don’t say things that cannot make sense in any way
😂😂😂😂😂
they should've kept it
What are there purposes on earth
The Payprus of Hunefer states,
"We came from the beginning of the Nile were God Hapi dwells, at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon." (Great Lakes Region).
😂

The Arabs spread their religion to different countries the same way the English spread Christianity; through alliances and promises of trade deals. Nothing but a business transaction and now in present day, we got people blowing themselves and others up in the name of Islam. Haa iiska haadlin. Do ur research
