Note: For the Divine Bird Warrior Ornis at 14:40 we accidently used the wrong picture because the Wiki had the wrong image listed and we didn't notice until after it was too late.
🎉L😅❤4😅
The glovewort crystal tear gives your spirit summon a 20% damage boots for 3 minutes, id say thats pretty massive.
Absolutely
It's decent
If you use a bleed build, or any of the spirit ashes like Jolan and Anna. Use moghs great rune, every blood proc will proc the lord of bloods exultation. Which will give another 20% buff, and moghs great rune already buffs ashes by making them more aggressive.
@@BingusBungosyou’re on to something
@@BingusBungos”elden ring is hard”
Honorable mention: if you're playing a pure dps mage, the greatshield soldier Ashes are capable of holding the bosses' aggro like no other summon in the game, plus they are particularly tankier than others because they keep their greatshield up most of the time.
Plus they pair well with the physic tear that increases your damage every time a summon dies (the buff timer resets every time a soldier goes down)
Jolan and Anna basically the upgraded version of twin imps
So on my first play through I got Jolan summon not knowing about the sword. Upgraded to 10 to see how it is. Learned about this special summon, started new game, this time I got her sword, cause I already got her summon, I completed the quest line and im at the puppet and its not changing the summon :/
@@djbreal87the Problem there was that u started a ng+ and took the sword there...
U didnt Trigger Anna because U took the sword in that playthrough 😅
The ranged heal is cheap too. Don't forget to put blessings on the summons!
Still wish bladid was a summon
Wow holy shit you’re right!
There's something else to consider about weaker summons: there's a talisman (It looks like a Bouquet of withered flowers. It's found in Belurat) that gives you a boost to your attack power (%20 I think) everytime your summons die. If multiple summons are made: they all count individually... but the bonus won't stack.
You can also get the Glovewort Crystal Tear to make your summons do more damage. Just have to kill a furnace golem for it.
The big question is: Are any of them better than the Dung Eater?
I'm glad someone said it..... he still out does all my other summons and is tanky, yet stupid debuffs enemy and does wonky damage, especially if you buff him and then add that new talisman to buff them and play aggro with him
No, and here's why... Both Black Knife Tiche, and Dung Eater both have really nice debuffs that can't go unrecognized. Dung Eater debuffs the enemy to suffer more blood loss buildup, from all sources, making everything that deals blood loss more effective. Tiche, has a ranged 10% health debuff that lasts a long time and can be used back to back (which is good cause it is DoT that hits hard). She also has dodges that rivals Malenia's. All those twin knight do is their own bleed damage, which can't/won't be accentuated like you can when using Mimic, or like what Dung Eater's, Shriek of Milos, can do for you...
Black Knight Commander Andreus used a crucible type tongue attack as an enemy that's why he has the weird attack as a spirit summon
That guy was pretty hard to take down. Two shotting me everytime
I think especially with the DLC, you need to factor in speed a lot more. Sometimes it's hard for summons to even get in the fight, since bosses are so fast and cover so much distance with their jumps and attacks. Meera's not amazing but he's fast enough to get back into the fight when the boss changes targets mid-27 hit combo and jumps 500 yards over to smack you, whereas the second Taylew loses aggro he's basically out of the fight. I think for that reason he and some of the other slower ashes should be lower on the list.
Don’t forget folks, if your summons are slacking at throw a cursed blood pot at them and they will go bananas!
Had no idea! TY
Apparently if you bring along the Blessing of Merika and summon the Mimic Tear, it will use it to fully heal when it gets low in health. The item is a one time use for the player, but the Mimic can use it every time it get s summoned!
Horned Warrior isnt the best but the only one worth using since it can yeet enemies back to Narnia its so fun ❤
just tested him against tree sentinel. Tree sentinel almost got the shield bash attack off, but gigachad warrior just smacked him out of the animation with his body bash. That was sick
I haven’t tried any new ash yet, right now I find Oleg quite great cuz he doesn’t melt to late game bosses and he staggers like crazy.
jolan/anna are glass cannons though, they dont last long at all in boss fights, id rather have a tanky meat shield to just take at least some aggro so i can hit the fucking enemies once in a while.
Scorpion is one of a couple summons which spawn near the little summoning idol rather than near you. That’s why it seems random.
Black knife tiche is an absolute beast, and my favorite summom. Literally can solo alot of bosses. ❤
not in the dlc sadly, mimic just survives much longer
@samlansdowne630 nah you just gotta support him with some heals buffs.
But I'm not using summon on my first playthrough of the dlc. So maybe your right
Tiche is bugged in the DLC though, not sure if they plan to fix, but bosses are healing back some of the damage she deals. It’s pretty frustrating. Had to stop using her.
@@MrJTStarkThat's not a bug. Destined death causes a max health debuff and reduces current health as well, when it wears off the health comes back. Usually, tiche can just keep applying it often enough for it to never run out, but if she doesn't manage to connect with DD for a while the boss gets a chunk of health back. You know it's applied when there is gray on the healthbar and a brown-red status effect on the boss.
Mimic Tear should have its own 'Mimic Tier' since its usefulness varies depending on your personal build.
My Johlan and Anna died after one minute at some boss fights
As a sorc i just need a tank so maybe the golem will be nice for me
Should definitely use the talisman the keeps the Argo on you when using the glass Canon summons
Question about testing? How did you lvl these up to test without going into new game +
Prob alrdy on ng 7 or something and has a ton of + 10 upgrades anyways
you did Horned Warrior dirty I'd give him an A+, maybe even S
I'm super biased tho
Love the video my guy❤
Spoilers,
Bird warrior is S tier in my experience, helped me clear the basilisks in the second lion dance fight and kept up with me in applying pressure on the boss while maintaining a good chunk of health.
The only summons you need is the mimic tear, plain and simple 👊🏿
Yosh is definitely S tier.
demi-human swordsman yosh is cool
so which summon is the strongest out of all the summon from standard game and dlc altogether?
Awesome video
I really wish the game had a talisman or a tear that lets you summon anywhere so I can make a beautiful healer build in a white dress(the one that boosts summons). If it is a crystal tear though it has to be reusible after a time period or smth to keep things balanced.
Horned warrior is my favorite he looks badass does aoe damage and is hard to poise break i always roll with him to clear crowds or bosses
waiting for the Igon summon that automatically plays his voice line when he spawns
I don’t think the scorpion spider thing is a summon issue I think it’s just the enemy, I watched two of the big ones fall through the floor at Belurat
He just has a bias for dragon girls with mid lightning i see
Greatshield bros S+ teir
In my opinion they should make that the summon power and health scale whit every ng+ bc the summon after some ng+ start getting oneshot bc theyr health is the same at the first ng and it make most of the summon useless to use when the only one that can survive more than 2 minute is mimic tear
Anyone know if the Mausoleum Soldiers ash summons are better?
I think they did something to mimics AI because he used all of the healing items i lent him in rapid succession at full hp.
Is that normal or just unlucky?
In all my testing. Ive noticed that in the dlc, only
The bosses will lock on to you, 95 to 99 percent of the time. Whether using spirit ashes, npc cohorts, or summoning friends.
This doesn't happen in the base game, even after this last update. Its just a dlc thing. So summoning for distraction purposes, is not really going to work.
I started a new save so it'll be a while before I hit the dlc did you test with shabriris woe on mimic does that change anything?
Taylew is goated against fire golems
Interesting! I'll have to try him out.
Mesmer Soldiers might be S .... they are pretty awesome in any situation.
they’re completely wrecking me in shadow keep so yea that checks out
@@Walker-eh9hiespecially the axe ones they keep comboing me
Even though he pops boiled prawns mid fight; mimic tear always and forever ❤️
Spirirt ashes: black knife stiche or Lhutel the Headless, i use mostly.
i wanted to get dung eater puppet. but i didn't think and i rushed my Dark moon greatsword 😖☹......
but iam less sad now cus new summons 😙
Edit: i think i will add: Horned Warrior, Mesmer Soldiers and Jolan and Anna ^^
Taylew is the best if you eardtree heal him during hes the best!
I don't think any of your tiers are consistent
I pray they one day give us a dragon summons
Horned warrior should definitely be S tier!
Mimic tear is associated with. Mine just stands around
Sadly, none of them are as good as Dung Eater, Tiche and Mimic. Yosh is the best of the DLC summons, but still doesn't equal the previous. IIRC, he also seems to build up frostbite as well. My current build was using Ice Spear, but I am pretty sure I've seen him actually cause buildup on top of mine so that his strikes would actually proc the debuff/health loss. I kept wanting to use a new summon, but for literally every boss, Dung Eater outperformed ALL of them.
Also, Mimic sucks and has always sucked on caster builds unless you intentionally weaken yourself by only having one spell slotted since the AI is so awful. For bosses Mimic might be "good" with one specific spell, but then they're garbage against trash enemies. Dung Eater is phenomenal at everything.
DLC last boos kills Dungeater super quick
Was nice to see all the summons however their are a lot of questionable positions on this list! Like wtf yeah they die quick do no damage and stager often....S! Hmmm gets boss to under half, yeets mobs, pretty tanky... B! 😑
My mimic summon defeats the majority of the bosses.
Where can you even get the dragon and rock summon?
Ancient Dragon Florissan is part of a questline involving multiple NPC's and a boss, it's better to look up a guide. Golem Smith is on Taylew Ruined Forge (north of Ancient Ruins Base Grace)
Talk to Moore, get his tar. Deliver it to Thollier. Get the concoction from him.
Go to dragon priestess Florissax, wait till nightfall. Drug her. Wait a couple days. Talk. Then kill Bayle. And then talk to her again.
With this you get her incantation and ash. It will lock you out of her form and weapon.
I Always use mimic tear 😊
My mimic won't attack until I die
Is the golem worth to upgrade it ?
If you're referring to Taylew I'd say he's worth it if you use your mimic to draw aggro more than relying on them for extra damage. He absolutely walled Messmer even at a low blessing level
If you have a healing incantation, and heal the golem he can solo bosses.
@sithjacobi omg I should give him chance 😂
No way we get discount Mohg as a summon??
Taylew destroyed frenzied flame lord for me
Spirit Ashes need a major overhaul imo... almost all of them need massive buffs.
Justice for Horned Warrior...dude almost solo'ed the boss, decimates trash mobs, but has almost half the lineup in front of him?
Mimic tear is the only summon that matters.
I mean, you ain’t wrong. Literally another you…
Depends what build you use, Mimic cant use all builds effectively. He is the strongest for sure, but there are so many great summons.
@@kubakowalik6598 definitely, but like what build wouldn’t it work for?
Mimic is the most boring summon ever
@@zebbernholtz5550 when you use your weapon offhand, or use something else offhand for passive/ash, or when you have different weapon just for buff (like Endure/Grafted)... mimic will go dumb and use that instead of main weapon.
So you have to cripple your build to make mimic work. Meanwhile Dungeater will debuff boss -15% to all resistance, which makes you deal more dmg.
I far prefer using unique summons instead of Mimic.
"They"
Mimic will never be beat
Anna and Nolan meh….
Any good ones that cost less than 72fp. Lol
just use 'Cerulean Hidden Tear' in your 'Flask of Wondrous Physick'
it eliminates all mana cost for a short time :)
TLDR mimic lol
Idk man. I think your being to generous here
You keep playing games I’m playing so I have no need to watch anyone else.
Tiche should be dropped down to A tier, she isn't as good later against hard hitting bosses as she gets staggered quiet easily.
She gets smacked by the mother of fingers
Nothing deserves and S or A tier if it can’t tank hits. This list is all over the place and doesn’t make any sense. DONT waste your time people there’s better rankings out there that are actually accurate
Where are these lists like who do I look up? Asking so I can get accurate info
I still prefer mimic there’s no better one
Why do you keep saying "they" when there's obviously only one summon?
Pronoun thing I think
Florissax them? Wtf are you talking about? Did you really use pronoun for a f npc in game?
