I sure do miss those 'dirty diners!!! There is a great small one in Huron, SD. Just a few tables, all in the 'kitchen' with the cook. And she makes WONDERFUL breakfasts and burger lunches!
@@markblack6189 Shut up. Don't you realize that it's the Republican voting/lobbying, owned businesses, that is responsible, for all the kaos in our country??? Biden, along with ANY sitting president, DOES NOT control, the prices of food or fuel, in the USA🤨!!!
@paulhubbard252 Except that sadly, very few are aware of the dirty dealings and deeds done behind the scenes of these otherwise "wholesome" films/times 😢
Top Cat was so cool . It kinda reminded me of Sargent Bilko . Ok , I just Googled it and it was based on the Phil Silvers Show , I always thought so . 😊😊
This was fun thanks😊 Reading the comments, I saw there are quite a few movie-buffs out there--also learned the movie meaning of word "Shorts", thanks all.😉
Thank you👏👍!!! Wonderful comedy!!! If Allen Jenkins is in it, you know that's there's gonna be, some fun acting. Even his straight roles, like in Bogie's 'Dead End' (1937). Tom Kennedy, the eternal Irish copper😏. Noticed another Kennedy in this (Bill), and probably was, the big thug. Actress who played Valerie, also helped, put this over.
He said she had " Eyes like limpid pools " , in my experence limpid pools are usually quicksand , once you're caught in soft brown or baby blues , you already know you're a goner , you never had a chance . 😂😂😂
Did anyone else notice the last minute when the lady comes in and says: Would you mind holding my grandSON for me, Then she says: If SHE"S any trouble at all give her this. 😀
That is a term usually reserved for B-movies with a running time under 45 minutes, give or take. In the days of double features, they would often accompany a long "A" feature.
When the guy fell though the window after being shot you can still see him lying there just below the window frame. That's 55 minutes I'll never get back
Allen Jenkins is a first-class scene stealer! Love him!! 😄
Allen was top man!

Might be closed now due to Bidenomics.😮

@@markblack6189Tell me; Mark. Are any of you American men happy?
Thank you! Really enjoyable cute movie! I love these!
Sometimes I'd rather watch these old flicks
Then the one's they churn out today

Better than.
Yep
Allen Jenkins ("Howard 'Harvard ' Quinlan") was also the voice of "Officer Dibble" from the cartoon "Top Cat". 👍
Top Cat was so cool . It kinda reminded me of Sargent Bilko . Ok , I just Googled it and it was based on the Phil Silvers Show , I always thought so . 😊😊
@@carlb8378 Didn't know that!!! No wonder, I never cared for both.
Short, sweet, and funny!
Charming fun picture!
Now that was cute and funny.. good films like this are forever classics.
Traveling incognito must be so uncomfortable. 😂
Apparently the "actor" in the role of the baby was in demand in Hollywood for a few months(?), I noticed he had appeared in a few other films in 1947.
@howardkerr8174
Are you thinking of "Forty Little Mothers"?
That baby was played by twin girls and doesn't look too much like this one.

Very nice ! Thank you!
There's nothing wrong with this movie. It's sweet and succinct.
I had suspected the baby from the very beginning, but I admit now that I was wrong.
This was a cute shortie.
Light, fluffy, sits gently on the grey cells❤

Limpid pools of Sulphuric Acid!!
The early '80's punk rock band, 'The Meatmen', sung about limpid pools, in their hit 'Kisses In The Sunset'!!!
Did anyone else notice the last minute when the lady comes in and says: Would you mind holding my grandSON for me, Then she says: If SHE"S any trouble at all give her this. 😀
Yep, she said the exact thing!😂
@@dianavais3361 I guess all these years they never caught it to correct it.
Thanks!👶🏻
In a lot of these B&W movies there's a gal named Susan. For 60+ years I have proudly carried this name.😊
British forename🙄.
How stupid to believe a couple you don’t know let them take your baby “ out for a weekend in the country “ !!
Really good, thank you.
Allen Jenkins has a star on Hollywood blvd
👍🏼thank you.
🎥🎞🎬Thank you 👍 ❤
Great movie.....
Charming
Sweet little Gem 🤭🫶
Tom Neal had a well documented troubled life which unfortunately overshadowed his quite impressive acting career
I noticed that one of the other actors was listed as Keith Richards. He found out that he could make more money in a rock & roll band....lol..!!
What a drama, very funny!
I thought she said grandson in the beginning, then i heard she, 😅
The Case of the Baby Sister?
!
What does be considered a streamline film?

🔵THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THAT ANYMORE, PROBABLY ON THE 3RD UNIVERSE.🔴
What kind of movie is 39 minutes?
A short.
The good kind🙄………
the baby was so cute
That crib is way too small.
Bassinet, not a crib. ✌️
It was hilarious in 1865.
Your birth certificate!
1865??? Probably better than the Ford's Theater, 'presentation'………
George meeker, Palm Springs musical man about town, if you know what I means by musical
Got it😏, the 'pink parade'.
Tom Neal sure has a strange mustache.
When the guy fell though the window after being shot you can still see him lying there just below the window frame. That's 55 minutes I'll never get back
But it was only 39 minutes, long🤔………

I hate those Spanish commercials. I Spanish and French tell them to learn to speak English. This is America.
What Commercial?....only Saw a Dumb Donald one....
This is a a spin-off of the hat box mystery filum . Same crew. That was also a piece of lippert suboptimal trash
You must have invested in the opposition/competition.
Ricky Ricardo as a baby.
😴
Babies shouldn't be watching, anyway😁………
