Henry later was billed as Harry Morgan to avoid confusion with Henry Morgan a popular humorist/satirist and actor of the time. He was also a panelist on the original I've Got A Secret game show.
I agree. "Some can't handle being famous. And some can't handle no longer being famous. And Hollywood and the industry can offer you or introduce you to or expose you to a lot of things that can really bring you down."- Todd Bridges, Actor from the hit 1970's television show: Different Strokes
Yes. A lot of famous people have been murdered as well. In Carole's case, the official state ruling was by suicide. But since she was involved with a married man who didn't want to leave his wife for her, some speculate her cause of death to be otherwise.
After returning from World War Two, a journalist ( Allyn Joslyn ) is assigned by his newspaper 🗞️ to be science editor when he wishes to be restored to his old job as a crime reporter.while in a bar , he sees what he believes to be a holdup involving a beautiful young woman ( Carole landis) And her dog.he triggers a major manhunt Ayer after calling in the story to his news desk, before realizing that the woman is both innocent and a serving member of the ploiy police 👮-together with her -who is assigned to the same case he is working on-they are able to bring the gang of criminals to justice! Ms landis and Mr Joslyn are good in this picture and so is Rodney the dog! 🐶 that was a great flick! 👀👏😁😁😁😁🎶🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤
@@pipfox7834 what did you expect me to do-give a cliff notes version of it? I was giving a summary, not a commentary-! I thought when I started in TH-cam I would have the right to say what I wanted, not raise the hackles out of anyone who read my comments!!
Their video is beautiful and I have included it in the "Album of the movie Stars, thank you to share it, it can look for it in Internet writing "Album de las Estrellas de Cine" or "Tribute Actress Famous" or "Banco de Cine" and look for in the alphabet of the ALBUM for the initial letter of the star of this videotape A AL nº 65 here their videotape are.

I won't say this is a bad film but it never quite gets off the ground, however it's well worth watching just to see Carol Landis, the most beautiful cop in filmdom. My favorite film with Allyn Joslyn, playing a very funny role. is in a Jack Benny film titled, "The Horn Blows at Midnight" in which an Angel (Jack) is sent from heaven to blow a trumpet at midnight which will end the world. (how's that for humor?) Allyn Joslyn plays a 1st class fallen angel, along with a superb cast.
This is more like Harry Morgans' Officer Bill Gannon days from the series Dragnet 1967-'70...Much younger looking face than when he played Colonel Potter. Although he did age very well. But you may not know the Dragnet series, like I do being that I was alive when it was newly broadcast.
How could they continue to keep the gag up! What A bunch of losers! Tarnishing an innocent person, just to save there precious run down egO! This script sucks!
The quality of the movie is just fine. Thanks for Carol Landis.
So comforting!!! Just a zany story, with no cursing or violence.love it !¡!!!!
It was fun, harmless, light hearted film that you cannot find nowadays. Thank you for sharing❣️
Non-stop one-liners and non-stop action...loads of fun..!!
LOVE this movie! Very cool! Never saw this one before! Great writing and wonderful casting. LOVE the Doberman dog, too.

Very good "B" film, perhaps Allyn Joslyn's best role, he really shines here. Thanks ZOB classic Cinema, for sharing.
Thoroughly delightful, witty comedy!
An enjoyable, "let's have some fun" movie. You just know the cast enjoyed themselves making this one!
Henry Morgan a very recognizable actor!

Brilliant dialogue. Will see what other films the writer(s) have worked on.
Enjoyable. Thank you!
Whilst Colonel Potter often mentioned his past military experiences, he never mentioned his experience here as seen in this Historical Document.
story so enjoyable + video quality excellent!!
What a perfectly stunning woman Carole Landis was. Too tragic suicide.

We will never know what Carole could have done. What a figure, what a tragedy.

Allyn Joslin always delivers. Funny guy and awfully cute!
Carole is only about 26 years old in this. Great body, good face, beautiful!

Homage to Hollywood trocadero
She ended her own life when she was just 29 years old ...

A 75 year old movie for free and you have the nerve to Whine! Here, have some cheese with that
Go find it somewhere else if you don't like it here, creep! Too bad Rodney's not real.......
Be glad it exists at all. It shouldn’t diminish from the story when using a little imagination
How could they continue to keep the gag up! What A bunch of losers! Tarnishing an innocent person, just to save there precious run down egO! This script sucks!
Calm down - it's a movie, it's fiction.
Rodney was the best part of this movie.
