haha i love how someone thought, "hmm, I think it would be cool to make an anime show with a girl who reloads her revolver with her boobs!!" that guy is awesome!!! ^-^
This is probably one of the goofiest anime shows I've ever seen... And I LOVE it just for that! I mean, you have the oddest pairing of a team spreading love and peace to the world: a worthless swordsman, an obnoxious balloon maker, and a busty blonde gun person with the most illogical reloading techinque imaginable. I know people will hate me for saying this, but I seem to admire the sheer silliness of the show as its light atmosphere seems to be built more for guilty pleasure.
Would watch this any day of the century over Trigun - and did. Rushuna is that much better, and she deserves more credit. - Not only is she a deeper and overall more enjoyable character, she's also just nice to listen to, and her ideals don't make you rip your face off. - The raw amount of 'Gun-Kata' in this series is inspiring and really fun to watch - as apposed to Vash dressing the wounds of the 'bad guys' he shot and not really doing anything through the show. Hell, his 'support characters' did more. - She's NOT a PLANT! - Her fan-service scene doubles as an INGENIOUS tactical reload. SOMEONE was thinking about that one, and I praise them. Brilliant idea and adds to the action. - Things get done in Grenadier - more or less. So I don't feel angry from the start knowing that any amount of action ultimately leads to nothing; like in Trigun. - He gun is boss. I'll be fair and say it's on par with Vash's. - 'Different' art design that's MUCH more pleasing on the eyes. Could still use some work, but I appreciate it. - Better music and overall score. Change my mind. - Tig ol' Bitties that actually double as a mobile armory. Again, brilliant. - Very loving and emotional character; which is actually relaxing when you're binge-watching. - Better character design. She's soft, loving, gentle.... but can still totally kick your ass. Not that she wants to though lol End rant XD
Now just re-released on DVD in thin Litebox: Grenadier Complete Collection--available in most DVD stores (Best Buy, Fry's Electronics, etc.) for only $20!
This show has tremendous fanservice, really happy themes too though I think I enjoy these lighter animes compared to ultra violent dark ones (they are great too though)
Este es un hermoso anime, hace como 2 semanas lo vi y me encantó, no he encontrado el manga; así que ya no sé si se quedó el manga de donde terminó el anime, o si siguió más.
It's called "Kohaku" by Mikuni Shimokawa, the same person who does the theme song for the Full Metal Panic! anime series. To be honest I haven't been able to find the song and I've looked around.
Can you imagine if the two ever met? They'd be the best gun using peace loving duo ever, if Vash doesn't die from too much loss of nose blood first. XD
very good opening, listened to it every ep, and that says something since I usually skip the opening of a show after some time. show was quite good, too nothing groundbreaking though.
big fan of mikuni shimokawa here. i heard this song prior to ever having heard of this anime, and i now find myself wishing it were used on something better. it doesn't even really seem to fit the opening animation sequence really. but the song itself is lovely. mikuni is a fantastic singer.
@sleepyeyedplumber U RIGHT!!! cause 1 reason why i watched this was because of this story cause its interesting. the other reason is because of that samurai he is cool looking an all im just waiting on the episode when he actually DOES SOMETHING!!!!!! :D
@sleepyeyedplumber I'd have to agree...something enjoyable to watch that doesn't take itself seriously at all. There are plenty of series out there that are completely serious and dramatic; this is the counterbalance to that section of the anime genre.

Well said
More than any anime over the years, this OP gets me the most nostalgic *tears up*
I feel the same. Plus the fact this anime is pretty unknown adds to the sadness in way...
@@himigami4595 I hear you on that one nostalgic
Good opening. Made me comeback from time to time. Still listening to this day. Decent snime too.
man what a great series one of thoses series you look back on and say "time well spent"
Wow....I had shit taste 7 years ago lol.
Song's great tho.
@@n543576 Eh, I don't regret watching this series. I just binged the manga this past week. I would love to see parts of that animated.
@@n543576 lmao
Very underrated Anime series
I always felt like this show was underrated. It had great heart, a warm spirit to it.
Indeed.
Back there the anime/manga/light novel was great and creativity, but now harem, isekai and cheating skill everywhere.
Yep from this I actually tried playing on it piano finding the right notes feels very difficult.
@@pirotess2I enjoy Isekai and harem stories. But I admit they are overdoing it. There should be more variety in the anime being made.
haha i love how someone thought, "hmm, I think it would be cool to make an anime show with a girl who reloads her revolver with her boobs!!"
that guy is awesome!!! ^-^
The singer is just as awesome Mikuni Shimokawa also the singer from full metal panic!
Grenadier is one of my favorite anime. I wish there was more like it.
If you like thos you might like Trigun! 😘

It's pretty darn good. Good humor placed throughout.

@zoidsmaniac I can't argue with that... it was the greatest reload ever...
that reloading method is very ingenious. i remeber how shocked i was when i first saw it.

I love Mikuni Shimokawa's Kohaku song.

This song is KOHAKU by Mikuni Shimokawa... One of my favourites.
me encanta los 12 capitulos de grenadier haber cuando hacer más
it's good :)
i like anime like this. short, too the point, and all it's about is several people on a small quest.
none of that huge epic crap.
very good opening, listened to it every ep, and that says something since I usually skip the opening of a show after some time. show was quite good, too nothing groundbreaking though.
Rushuna es literalmente como una versión femenina de Vash xD
@Dynamus21 I agree
