So my problem is it’s not even registering my remote , yes the battery is brand new yes I’m doing all the necessary steps , so now I’m starting to think I have a wire short somewhere in the system? Any suggestions anyone? Don’t wanna spend my whole pay check at some shop if I don’t have to
@Lackoftobac Sooo I’m buying a used 2015 sierra. The truck comes with one key so I asked the dealership I’m buying from to make a new key and key fob. They made the second key but told me that the base models of these trucks don’t come equipped for a key fob. Will this solution still work? I’d rather the dealer do it but for $75 I don’t mind taking a couple minutes to program it myself.
Just picked up one for my 2015 Silverado. My truck has the factory remote start as well. It's Dorman part# 99352. Was around $185 +/-. Being the fleet mechanic for a company in my area, I spend a good bit of time and money in the local Irish parts store, discounted down to $90!!
I would take a look at Weather Tech or Husky Liner. Similar designs for whatever year/Make/Model you would like and they're suppose to all be custom fit, super easy to take out and wash and put back in.
It didn’t work I have a WT model single cab bought the one with the remote start button plug it in and tried to remote start it but didn’t work not sure if I need to do something else.
I have for my fob key issue i can't lock on I'll tell you guys i locked my cars 5 10 times all the time because i feel it's not locked on my ZL11LE 10 Speed i Fuck the remote the battery and i replaced now i have the same issue for my pickup truck Z71 Silverado 2016 if you locked or unlocked many times the fob key could be needs reset again.
Just ordered this for my husband's truck! Cost $100.00. Dealership wanted $280 and locksmith wanted $160.00! Saved me alot of $! Thank you!
Where did you buy it?
@@djthrillersean Amazon
You should have been able to get them a lot cheaper than that. I got two fobs for around $45 with a remote starter on ebay

So if they don’t come with a key fob but it’s in the trucks settings menu, can I program one or not? Mine doesn’t seem to work
I've been looking for some of these videos, have a 2015 W/T with no factory key fob and I wanted to add them without going to the dealer
Will it program to autostart on my 2015 silverado?

Any issues with this so far?
Hell yeah bro 🎉 saved a buck for my truck. Wow amazing the price these assholes charge nowadays. Tic toc money
51 psi in your tires holy shit
😂
Does it work with the auto start key fobs?
I attempted it with this kit on my 2500 and it did not program the auto start function
If you’re talking about remote start it does. I just program 2 fobs on a 2015 Silverado 1500 without issues.
@@alexescobar5707 did it come from the factory already programmed, prior to the new fobs?
@@alexescobar5707your pickup was a wt? No power windows. Only AU3 code?
Why would you lot include the name of the programmer or/and where to get it? 😒
