Why do they need gmax forms when them being dynamaxed is still perfect for the reference? If part of their design was it, then them just being bigger completes it. If they added more it would take away from the design's original intent.
Actually that sounds like a great idea for a video. Rather then the background on Pokemon people love just for themselves, pick the Pokemon the community generally don't like and explain why they are the way they are.
Frazone Dracaoo the item Pokémon can be summed up as “there’s a whole section of Japanese mythology dedicated to items coming to life after they’ve lived for stupid amounts of time”. To be fair, King Kong was summoned by the native people of his home island with drums and he was known as the protector of that jungle. Drums, plants, giant, gorrilla. I think Gigantimax Rillaboom may be partially inspired by King Kong. Maybe a little Donkey Kong too. He did have that rhythm game played with a unique drum set.
Here's a small nitpick I wanna correct. Ultraman and Godzilla were co-created by a lot of the same people, especially the legendary creator of the tokutatsu genre: Eiji Tsuburaya. But they are not owned by the same company. Tsuburaya doesn't own the rights to Godzilla like Gnoggin (or however the little skeleton is named) said. Toho owns Godzilla and Tsuburaya Productions owns Ultraman. Both companies do have really close working relationships, to the point they let each other borrow kaiju suits all the time. Because of that there's a lot of Ultraman Kaiju who just look like repainted versions of Godzilla Kaiju. It's most likely that Toho let Tsuburaya use their Kaiju's roar as well. So yeah, it's not that Godzilla & Ultraman are owned by the same people, but that both companies have good working relationships and let each other borrow stuff all the time. (Mainly because some people like Eiji Tsuburaya has worked for Toho before)
As a Godzilla fan and in a community with many other Godzilla fans, we are also Pokemon fans. NONE OF US have ever heard the comparison between Rayquaza and Manda. Manda is an ancient sea serpent guardian for an undersea humanoid race. Also... Manda has four legs.
I sea as an elongated Gyarados with 2 tiny arms and large moustaches. Rayquaza feats more for a real god of skies, while Manda is consideres a god, but note a real one.
"Gamara is a just a big turtle that stands upright." ... that could fly using jet in his retracted shell, was the protector of nature and protected all children.
The closest godzilla related Pokémon is definitely groudon hands down. His destruction, his ability to walk in water making a large path of magma, etc. mostly everything groudon does is almost as similar to godzilla. We also can’t forget when he’s in primal form he legit looks similar to 2019 burning godzilla. WE ALSO CANT FORGET THEY LITERALLY USED GODZILLA’S ROARS FOR GROUDON IN THE ANIME
@@hazakurasuyama9016 From what i remember from watching that one part of the movie, That Lava groudon had these slimy navy blue tentacle things that absorbed the characters into groudon's glowing Orange/Yellow stomach showing each one of them in there. King Kong isn't "technically" a kaiju. He straight up is a kaiju. America just didn't have a name for the giant monster subgenre. And you know who else is a kaiju without anyone calling it so? The Cloverfield monster.
Does that make the Jurassic Park films Kaiju films as well? I know they're based on dinosaurs but we now know that they likely didn't really look so lizard-like and the later films even started making their own made-up super dinos.
@@Gohka hmm... I guess so. Specifically the big ones like T-Rex and Spinosourus. But yeah, pretty much. They even have them fight each other once in a while.
Tyranitar, Hydreigon, and other obviously kaiju-inspired mons not getting Gmax forms is a crime against humanity. Gamefreak excels at missing opportunities.
The most notable thing about Tyranitar, in my opinion, is that it is a classical dinosaurish kaiju that reaches its adult phase by PUPATING. Even weirder is that the shape and markings of the pupa are visible on its body, implying that the pupa itself mutated into an adult phase, rather than breaking like an insect's. That is such a strange, unique, and fundamental quality that I find it difficult to really consider it as having any one single inspiration unless said inspiration also does that.
Speaking of the Anime, Dialga's roars in the DP Era has the roars of Kraa the Sea Monster & Manda, also Palkia's roars despite having Ghidorah and Godzilla's roars also have a cayote howl. Giratina & Lunala has the same roars as Mothra's but Giratina has both the Imago and Larva roars and Lunala only has the Imago Roars. BW: Reshiram combines the Roars of Megaguirus, Keizer Ghidorah & the Wolf's howl while Baragon's roars were used for Zekrom. Kyurem's roars being Monster X and Zilla (AKA the TriStar Godzilla) combined with his Japanese VA and in the dub Marc Thompson (who voices the Tao Trio). XY: Yveltal has the roars of Megaguirus & Anguirus (Pitched-up) and Zygarde in its 50% form has the roars of Mothra and the other Kaiju noises. SM: Solagleo has the roars of Monster X like Kyurem and Necrozma has another kaiju roar. The Dusk Mane form has the roars of Ebirah and a Cayote Howl. The Dusk Wing form has a Cayote howl. Necrozma in its TRUE form has the combo of Ebirah's roar, GMK Ghidorah's roar, and a lowpitched Cayote howl. JN: Eternatus has the roars of Ebirah and another beast. Zapdos has Mothra's Roars (Imago), and Articuno has the roars of many kaijus. Plus Dialga has the same roar as Necrozma in JN89 and JN90. POSTED: 2:59 PM EST Saturday December 10th 2022.
@@erizoh His point is that Ramoth is just and an anagram of Mothra, they literally just took the "Ra" from the end and slapped it at the beginning, that's probably what gave them the idea to make it fire type and look like the sun, since Ra is the egyptian sun god
Its not just that they both have moth, they literally just flipped the syllables. Moth-ra -> ra-moth Granted, it also clearly refers to ra, the sun God, with volcarons design influences from Egyptian gods, and its place as a sun deity to a desert culture, but it seems pretty clear.

The single-word translation of "kaiju" should just be "monster", big or small. We associate it with giant monsters specifically because of the "kaiju movie" genre, which really just means "monster movie" but always involved a giant monster during its boom in popularity. Some have used the term "daikaiju" to refer to giant monsters specifically but it hasn't really caught on.
I should note that Jet Jaguar also resembles ultraman, and most of the time is an ally of Godzilla. And I remember reading somewhere what he was also supposed to be a stand-in for Ultraman in the show. In other words, The fact Godzilla and Jet Jaguar are allies can be interpreted as Toho saying that Godzilla and Ultraman wouldn’t fight, per se.
Lovely lovely, yet I am heavily breathing multiple times at some misinfo here... Excuse my nerdness as I list out a couple FYI-stuff down with no annotations. Plus some fine ol comments on stuff mixed in. Bemular was never caught by Ultraman, he was killed just like the majority of the kaiju that appear in the series. Ahem, Toho and Tsuburaya technically only worked together for like the early Showa series of both franchises, Eiji Tsuburaya can at least be credited for bringing suitmation with the 1954 film. The God of the Earth title for Baragon was only given to the GMK instance of him, plus GMK was release in 2001, waay after Gen 1. Connection to Baragon still fits thought. Angross, not really classical, appeared in the middle of the Heisei era. Those are just flippers on Gazort cause the thing is a space fish-thing. Oh heck, Golem really is just a rocky version of Takkong. Fun Fact, Takkong's name comes from the Japanese word for octopus: "Tako" And like Pestar, drinks oil in the original appearance. Space Eel, that's all you have to see from Eleking. Also.... yeah, Ultraman did do a lot of gore on the monsters, especially with Ace's series, the ultra has multiple finishers that have the word Guillotine in i- Wait is that why Guillotine in pokemon 1-shots 50s to around 70s toys in japan were always so saturated. Sudden idea I got looking between Bemular and Tyranitar, or in this case, Pupitar. Bemular has the special ability to change into a big, blue, space-travelling orb. Which sorta mirrors the chrysalis Pupitar, blue color, shell-like. Tsuburaya has been making a couple Godzilla-look-a-likes a couple of times. Apart from Bemular and Redking using Big-G's roar, there's Astron (or Earthtron, depends on translation) who has a similar appearance. Gomess and Jirass are a thing, both of which reused two Godzilla suits (or mixed pieces iirc), Jirass is just a green Godzilla with a frill. That clip with Yveltal didn't feature Megaguirus' roar. Reminder, high-pitched screech. Also, I think the best pronunciation of Megaguirus is "Meg-a-gear-us", well, for me anyway. The relation with Mothra for Gigantamax Butterfree may be for 2019 version, where... Oh look both have BIG GLOWING GREEN WINGS! Though it may be argued to be a coincidence, both were released in 2019. Done. I dunno.
Thank you for this. I can't blame him for the misinformation: tokusatsu isn't his thing. But some of the broad generalizations really gave me an eye twitch.
p sure guillotine in pokémon only one-shots because the irl guillotine was an execution device. i mean unless there are more similarities between the other gen 1 OHKO moves & pokémon's inspirations, 'fissure' for example never made a lot of sense as a one-shot move to me really informative post tho, as an american that's never travelled i wouldn't begin to know how to get into this stuff
Yes, the oil drinking sea monster is clearly the inspiration for the rock lizard with a quad weakness to water. It's an entirely superficial resemblance.
I realize there a couple more mistakes I missed, and instead of editing my comment, I'm just gonna extend the list with a reply, cause there's like comment character limit. Big G is not a mutated lizard, that'd be the dead horse that is Zilla. Godzilla is either a naturally born creature that fed on radiation and awakened via Bomb tests. Or is a mutation, just that it was a dinosaur called the Godzillasaurus, which might not be true since some timetravel removed it, and Godzilla still exists. Shoutout to Wikizilla, they have theory on explaining this. Otachi is not a sea monstah, she too is from space, and is, like the rest of the Rim monstahs, artificial weapons. Speaking of, most, if not many kaiju come from the land, especially from the Monsterverse and Ultraman franchise. Rodan, either way, was sleeping in a mountain or a volcano, Golza and Melba too. Monsters like Redking and Kong (who does count) lived on a remote island along with their opponents. Poor Gomora was taking a nap in a mountain. Among others. The categories for Kaiju are usually as follows: Aliens: space ninja's and Dadas. Space monsters: in two subcategories, but basically they are not sentient, but are still from space. Ancient: living for a long time on land, Gomora and Kong. Gods: Mothra and Gatanothor. Sea: ancient but water, Goji and Takkong. Weapons: all the artificial guys, Mecha Godzilla, Zetton and Pandon. Ghosts: undead, ghost that possesses Kiryu, and the hybrid Tyrant. Interdimensional: not exactly from space, Gan-Q and Bulton comes to mind.

3:23- Fun Fact, despite Baragon's most known appearances being Destroy All Monsters (1969) and Godzilla, Mothra, And King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack (2001), his first ever appearance wasn't in a Godzilla movie. It was actually in Frankenstein Conquers The World (1966), where he battled a kaiju sized version of the classic horror monster 3:47- That's in GMK. In the original origin, Baragon was actually a long lost dinosaur that suddenly awoke and began to go on rampages. He even had the ability to breathe fire. 14:19- Yeah, I noticed that when watching the Pokémon mega evolution 3 special with Kyogre and Groudon using the roars of Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, and Anguiris
If you wanna be technical, his name is actually just straight up "Destroyer," but pronounced in Japanese, which would make it "Desutoroyaa". Is was just anglicized to Destroyah or Destoroyah (both are valid and interchangeable).
Ryan Cauffman Iirc, it was created when the aftermath of the Oxygen Destroyer interacted with some microbial life, taking it from a destroyer of oxygen to a general destroyer of all.
As a huge Godzilla fan, I was always dissapointed with Tyranitar's design. It just doesn't scream "Godzilla" to me so I like the idea of it being *also* inspired by Bemular from Ultraman. It explains a lot about Tyranitar. But I like how you mentioned that Pokémon can be inspired by several things. There's just too much obvious Godzilla influence in Tyranitar to ignore it and say it's just a Bemular Pokémon. Since both Godzilla & Ultraman are super iconic in Japan, it makes sense that Game Freak decided to mix both franchises into one Pokémon.
It's possible that Tyranitar also takes some inspiration from Anguirus. Tyranitar's Japanese name, Bangirasu differs by one character and they're both armored dinosaur-esque creatures with spikes running down their back.
Technically, The guy responsible for the special effects for the first few Godzilla movies quit Toho (the company behind Godzilla) and went on to form his own company, that ended up creating Ultraman. Outside of selling some of the Godzilla suits to his company, Toho has nothing to do with Ultraman.
"Alright, to be fair, stag beetle battles have been a thing in asia since the year 700 so of course it's gonna be referenced in all sorts of battle focused media" Jobin vs Josuke Beetle Tendency intensifies!
Darius Fritts in the original Dragonball manga Chichi had a similar helmet in which she could use as an attack where she threw the “fin” part. I only remember her using it once though. It has been a few years since I last read them
Very late and likely already mentioned by someone else, but Angross was likely not the inspiration for Rhydon. Angross was a later kaiju all the way into 2006 during the Ultraman Mebius show, so it would be long after the creation of gen 1 Pokemon.
"But real quick, I just want to point out how this thing (Eleking) dies." *An ad for Raid: Shadow Legends comes on right then.* Me: Yep, it dies by an ad for a way over-advertised game. And now I'm cringing because Lockstin just said "Hydrei-jon."
@@theimpostorafungus1213 I know of Zweilous; I know how counting works in German; but how did you get Hydreigon's pronunciation? Bulbapedia may say that Hydrogen may be a connection made in its name; granted the fact that it CAN be wrong; but that just makes much less sense than dragon being in its name, as, obviously, it is a dragon. "Hydreigon" may seem a lot like "Hydrogen," but there are no connections to it breathing fire aside from its moveset, and it's obviously not even a Fire-Type. Dragons can do more than just breathe fire, anyway, and Hydreigon just obviously has far more to do with dragons than breathing fire.
When he said that Godzilla was mutated I was like “Danget he’s thing of zilla” Godzilla is a ancient creature that was awakened by nuclear bombs in most stories
in the original 1954 Godzilla, he was a mutated lizard that was mutated by a nuclear bomb test. also, in 1994's Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, it was revealed that he was mutated by a nuclear bomb and that he was originally a dinosaur called Godzillasaurus.
@SimpleButHard 1 showa era: mutant/scarred aquatic reptile awakened by nuclear testing. Heisei: dinosaur mutated by nuclear testing. Millennium: one of the previous two. Monsterverse(godzilla 2014): ancient reptile like amphibian from the Permian period, reawakened by nuclear testing. Anime(Godzilla Earth): plant based ultimate lifeform, with dinosaur dna, created by nuclear testing.
I feel the amount you got wrong does a great disservice to the legitimate impact of Ultramam on the Japanese entertainment industry. Most of all being that Ultraman was NOT made by the same people as Godzilla. Yes, Eiji Tsuburaya, the creator of Ultraman, was the special effects director for years at Toho, but by the time he started the Ultraman franchise he'd stepped down and started his own company. True, there was industry trading, but that was mostly due to the amazing admiration Tsuburaya had in the industry. After his death in 1970, Tsuburaya Productions became a fully separate company and continued to create the MANY different incarnations of Ultraman which would become a staple of Japanese television. He is not a superhero, there are a bunch of sparsely connected different series with some overarching lore (convoluted at best). Point being, even a show about a giant, spandex clad, superhero is never as simple as it seems. Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai are not the the same thing.
One thing I know about Tokusatsu fans, is that they memorize everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Your every statement will be analyzed and fact checked. I guess that makes me one of them... Sorry... I can't help it...
Ultras are all light beings who protect the universe from monsters and villains so that's kinda like a super hero. The space garrison is basically like space cops. and they are all connected by the land of light. Even those not from that place (like Jonius being from U40). Ambassador Magma was the first giant hero, big X was the first giant hero who used a pen-like object to transform like Ultraman's beta capsule. Tezuka beats every one at being first at something. They are all toku though
The funny thing about Volcarona is, in German it’s name is „Ramoth“, referencing the Egyptian god of the sun (I believe) and it being an moth. And also Ra - moth Moth - ra ... yeah kinda on the nose there
After returning to this video, I realized Lockstin did NOT do his research. 1. Ultraman is owned by an entirely separate company than Godzilla. Yes the creator of Ultraman worked on Godzilla, but he had left Toho when he went to create Ultraman. 2. Bemular is not the first monster Ultraman caught in a capsule. It's the first monster he fought.
Fun Fact: When I reversed the roar, it stays the same roar, just like how your reverse the word "Racecar" and "Radar". Also the roar is high pitched so I slowed down the pitch and I get the classic Godzilla roar.
"They decided against having a robot Pokémon (in Gen 1)" Magnemite, Magneton, Voltorb, and Electrode are all robots and Porygon is an AI, basically a disembodied robot soul.
"Godzilla was the result of a nuclear test, resulting in a lizard to mutate" ...That's the 1998 American origin.... ....you and I are enemies now Lockstin...
okay, but like, have you seen a marine iguana? And the atomic breath is just the salt sneezing, not fire so much as a hurricane force sandblasting with very radioactive seasalt.
While that movie did specify that it was nuclear testing mutating a marine iguana, Godzilla is usually still a mutated reptile. In the Hesei series Godzilla vs King Ghidorah and Godzilla vs Destoroyah both confirm Godzilla is the result of a Godzillasaurus, a dinosaur that somehow didn't go extinct, being mutated by a nuclear submarine crashing and uranium deposits exploding respectively. The Showa and most of the Millennium series make claims that Godzilla is an intermediary species between sea and land dwelling prehistoric reptiles that was awakened and enhanced by hydrogen bomb tests. GMK made it an ancient reptile possessed by the souls of those that died in WWII so nukes contributed to its creation there.
@@luciliusvh5351 Not sure to what extent but Toho did re-brand that Godzilla to Zilla and have it fight Godzilla for about 6 seconds in Godzilla Final Wars. Here is a link to the full fight th-cam.com/video/zPxhdo4HDgg/w-d-xo.html

Yes, and someone made a video explaining that Caterpie is 100% based on larval Mothra because of that episode and the fact that it’s caterpillar. The stupidity of some people makes me sad.
@Jesus Ramirez Romo Problem is that those episodes were made long after the Pokemon were designed, it doesn't make sense, the studio just happened to realize they have butterfly and moth Pokemon to make a parody with.

Hardcore kaiju fan here, so a small tidbit to point out; Baragon's "god of the earth" idea didn't come until the 2001 film Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack (GMK for short, quite the long name), AFTER Pokemon was already made and established. However Baragon did of course appear in older films (and did burrow as well iirc) so the design for Nidoking is still blatantly obvious. Edit: ALSO GODZILLA IS NOT A MUTATED LIZARD! The 1998 American Godzilla film is the ONLY one to do that idea. The original 1954 Gojira has Godzilla as a giant prehistoric animal risen from the depths of the ocean due to atomic bomb testing to make man pay for the crimes of nuclear energy. EDIT #2: YVELTAL'S ROAR WAS NOT MEGAGUIRUS' REEEEEE
I would like to mention that Tyranitar also resembles the original position Tyrannosaurus was thought to have, while Tyrantrum resembles the modern position Tyrannosaurus is thought to have
So fun thing about Mega Tyranitar; I'm pretty sure it's more based on Burning Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destoroyah Ultra Sun Dex Entry: Due to the colossal power poured into it, this Pokémon’s back split right open. Its destructive instincts are the only thing keeping it moving. Considering Burning Godzilla is literally melting down due to his own power and will die in a radioactive explosion with the only thing keeping him alive is just his will to live a bit longer and the fact that Mega Tyranitar own power is so great that it splits open its back, meaning it will die soon . . . yeah. I feel the inspiration there.
Actually Bemular was never caught in a Capsule by Ultra Seven. The Capsule you show is from Ultraman Geed and is actually Five King. Ultraman also didn't really catch Kaiju in capsules either. The capsules in Geed were made by Ultraman Belial.
4:56 Fun fact: Gamera flies by shooting fire out of the holes in his shell, which is identical to how Squirtle and Wartortle use Hydro Pump in the anime, a pretty clear visual reference.

How are Pokemon described at multiple times throughout the franchise?
"Mysterious creatures"
Magical creatures
We were so close to greatness...so close
Also.... yeah, Ultraman did do a lot of gore on the monsters, especially with Ace's series, the ultra has multiple finishers that have the word Guillotine in i- Wait is that why Guillotine in pokemon 1-shots
50s to around 70s toys in japan were always so saturated.

Dynamax in Japanese is called "daimax", perhaps in reference to the term "daikaiju", which is applied to kaiju of exaggerated size.
4:27 You can’t grasp the true form of Gigan’s attack!

Ultras are all light beings who protect the universe from monsters and villains so that's kinda like a super hero. Fun Fact: When I reversed the roar, it stays the same roar, just like how your reverse the word "Racecar" and "Radar". Also the roar is high pitched so I slowed down the pitch and I get the classic Godzilla roar.
So, no one gonna mention how Groudom is LITERALLY Godzilla? Giant bipedal lizard that is like a god
He is burning Godzilla
Primal Groudon: Glowing Markings
Burning Godzilla: Glowing skin and back spikes
thedragonofdalzell that too
But Groudom is weak to water the very thing Godzilla lives in
@@idontknowwhattoputhere7017 water doesn't effect primal groudon
14:40 boga is that of that specific varactyl that obi wan mounts and rides.Yes he is called boga, his species is the varactyl
*She is called Boga. Yes, she is a varactyl.
Imagine being that mewtwo and Lockstin suddenly looks at you and just goes: “eww”
"They decided against having a robot Pokémon (in Gen 1)"
Magnemite, Magneton, Voltorb, and Electrode are all robots and Porygon is an AI, basically a disembodied robot soul.
Funny how now we have the very Godzilla inspired Baxcalibur alongside this
"Godzilla was the result of a nuclear test, resulting in a lizard to mutate"
...That's the 1998 American origin....
....you and I are enemies now Lockstin...
okay, but like, have you seen a marine iguana?
Didn't the 1998 film of Godzilla get retconned?
@@luciliusvh5351 Not sure to what extent but Toho did re-brand that Godzilla to Zilla and have it fight Godzilla for about 6 seconds in Godzilla Final Wars. Here is a link to the full fight th-cam.com/video/zPxhdo4HDgg/w-d-xo.html
@@Dawleyllama thanks my dude
Dude
Ultraman defeated Bemular by killing him, not turn him into a capsule, and the thing about capsule is it's not from the Original Ultraman and it's from Ultraman Geed wich is in 2017 and Original Ultraman is from 1966
It originally was in Ultra Seven
@@anormalguy9346 what???? bemular wasn't in ultraseven
@@flurreo No,what i meant to say was that the capsule monster thing was originally from Ultra Seven and not from Ultraman Geed
@@anormalguy9346 oh, ty for the correction
still wish lockstin & gnoggin corrected himself, that would've been nice
Wasn’t there an episode of the Pokémon anime where they referenced the original mothra movie with the caterpie line
Yes, and someone made a video explaining that Caterpie is 100% based on larval Mothra because of that episode and the fact that it’s caterpillar. The stupidity of some people makes me sad.
@@wildwind413 I mean, it makes sence
They also reference Battra when Jessie's Dustoks became gaiant
@Jesus Ramirez Romo
Problem is that those episodes were made long after the Pokemon were designed, it doesn't make sense, the studio just happened to realize they have butterfly and moth Pokemon to make a parody with.
RobbEJay then episodes were based on the movies, but the Pokémon weren’t based on the monsters
@@ZombieBarioth Also the anime has tons of references that the games don't like Kamen Rider and Jojo's poses and Meowth going "muda-nya! muda-nya! muda-nya!" in the Japanese dub.
When I first found Larvitar I was like "Please don't let this be like my level 55 Dunsparce."
To my surprise it was my best Pokemon after evolution...
(This was 1999 or 2000 on a Japanese Silver Version)
The sarcasm when referencing the SNES game is strong enough to vaporize the faint of heart.
Me: leaves comment on the previous video.
nobody:
Lockstin: Let's make that the next video.
Tank you Lockstin.
I would like to mention that Tyranitar also resembles the original position Tyrannosaurus was thought to have, while Tyrantrum resembles the modern position Tyrannosaurus is thought to have
2:18 *Staryu intensifies*
So fun thing about Mega Tyranitar; I'm pretty sure it's more based on Burning Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destoroyah
Ultra Sun Dex Entry: Due to the colossal power poured into it, this Pokémon’s back split right open.
Rip godzilla JR and Heisei godzilla
Turtle bazooka: exists
The people who made pokemon: I know what where gonna do today!
And here I am still searching for Dialga's movie cry's origins
Actually Bemular was never caught in a Capsule by Ultra Seven. The Capsule you show is from Ultraman Geed and is actually Five King. Ultraman also didn't really catch Kaiju in capsules either. The capsules in Geed were made by Ultraman Belial.
The first capsule used was also windom.
Lockstin: touches Tyranitar when talking about scyther.
Also Lockstin: 4:36
4:56
Fun fact: Gamera flies by shooting fire out of the holes in his shell, which is identical to how Squirtle and Wartortle use Hydro Pump in the anime, a pretty clear visual reference.
Lockstin: "fighting giant robots."
Me that likes Mega Man: *Super fighting robot-?*
