same. it really showed the limitations of the eye of insight. It's an excellent predictive tool, especially with things that move in a straight line, but it CAN be overwhelmed with too many things moving in all different directions/patterns. Killer Bee's kenjutsu is a great Sharingan counter. THAT is how you beat an Uchiha.

The sharingan excels in tracking many things moving in different directions, it's literally it's main thing, it should be the biggest counter to bees kenjutsu. Kakashi was surprised that he wasn't able to track every cell in kakuzus body getting obliterated by the rasenshuriken "needles"... 8 swords should be light work, especially for sasuke with 2 fully developed sharingan..

It does not see the future, for a start.
It sees initial micro-movements and then makes a prediction of what the following action will be. This prediction will appear to the user as a moving image.
This ability is especially good for things that move in a straight line because they're much easier to predict.
When you have multiple targets to track, it's alot harder. In Boruto, Sasuke explains this all to Sarada, as he trains her to use the eye of insight.
She couldn't track more than a few fast moving kunai, because she hadn't trained the eye of insight very much.
Many objects, moving in curved paths is the perfect way to overwhelm a Sharingan user.

He can't comprehend how Bee is moving in such an unpredictable matter because 1. Bee is significantly faster than him and 2. His movements are so erratic and unlike anything he has fought against before.

I was so happy when Kishimoto showed that part of Itachi turning back and shedding 1 tear. If you remember, thats the first angle of Itachi we ever saw when Sasuke remembered him during the Chuunin Exams

Back in the bell test when Sakura tries to convince Sasuke that they should give up and try again next year (presumably, not under Kakashi), Sasuke remembers Itachi for the first time in the series. All he says is "at that time... Was crying...", and then he tells Sakura he's an avenger and all that.
This was the repressed memory he remembered here, and he says the exact same words (at least in Japanese).
The first time he says it is ambiguous because he doesn't use the pronoun. Some translations/dubs at the time interpreted it as if Sasuke was saying "at that time I was crying", but in this episode it is clear that Kishimoto used the ambiguity present in the Japanese version of that old line from around chapter 5 to mean that Itachi was crying. Now, whether or not he made the sentence ambiguous on purpose by omitting the pronoun, or Itachi being a good guy was a retcon and Kishi took advantage of that old line he wrote that happened to be ambiguous, that's a big discussion.
But apparently there's more substantial evidence to say that Kishimoto already had some sort of twist in mind when he created Itachi, that he wasn't meant to be just Sasuke's evil brother. And I do believe that since most antagonists in Naruto aren't truly evil as more traditional villains like Frieza from DBZ. Although I think he only came up with the whole reason for the massacre, the coup d'etat and all, later on, likely by the end of Part 1 and early Shippuden.

Damn, I've seen this fight so many times, but i just realized that this fight was intentionally set up by "Madara" for Sasuke to either outright lose, or retreat, so he'd realize he needs Itachi's eyes for a powerup. He knew Sasuke most likely wasn't ready, and conveniently left only the Eight Tails available for them to try and capture. Which at this point in the show, Bee was the strongest Jinchuriki by far, and the only one with full control over their tailed beast. Master manipulator at his finest

Itachi crying the night of the massacre was referenced as early as the bell test in Part 1 when Sasuke muttered, “that time…crying”, not understanding that he saw Itachi cry and then later pushed it out of his memories as he became more vengeful.

@kenXgg Nah if sasuke used it earlier it would actually be an advantage for killer bee because the only reason he got hit by it is that sasuke pulled it out of his ass in the literal last second before he nearly got smashed by Gyuuki. Killer be is way faster and physically Stronger than sasuke at that point and sasuke was able to dodge itachi's Amaterasu so killer bee would be able to do that as well. And then sasuke also wouldn't be able to surprise attack him in the last second.

@@BestManVegetano, he can like naruto. Naruto had full mastery of tail beast chakra at final valley, that's why he could do it. He had fully mastery that's why he was the only who could share the chakra with other people too (when kurama said that minato and kushina pales in comparison to Naruto).

Can he actually not handle that?” And honestly it’s like that with a big majority of the old characters. Seeing some of the goats just getting clapped for no reason will start to piss you off when it happens every damn fight they are in. Even Naruto spends half the show getting fucked up and needing saving from others.

Sasuke telling Tobi that they had not yet obtained the ninth Bijuu Beast was a question To reassure himself about Naruto's condition because deep down he does not want him to die and he does not know about Naruto's condition unlike us That's why Toby asked he's not stupid as you say. I noticed that you forget what some characters said and did, such as underestimating the difficulty of missions and the size and difficulty of some feelings, and forgetting the achievements and merits of some characters. Your comedy is good and fun to watch, but some of it becomes bad when you say it in serious situations 😭🤌🏻

The top comment is just misleading although I agree that the war arc is a slog to get through cuz they're focusing on too many characters but the highs of the war arc are the highest the show has ever reached for example-(Spoiler alert) The five Kage summit, Kakshi vs Obito, Sasuke's reunion with Itachi, Madara vs Alliance, Previous Hokage's entry, Gai vs Madara, Naruto's six paths sage mode entry, Five kage vs Madara, Gaara's speech, Minato's entry, Naruto and Kurama becoming friends, Team 7 vs Madara and goated ending+ the best fight of the show i.e. Naruto vs Sasuke final battle.
