Naruto has some if Not The Best Osts in anime, they're so sick Pain's Theme called "Girei" Always gonna be The Dopest One The Best in all Naruto period IMO. Shit is Epic as hell
In my opinion episode 167 is THE most ambitious anime episode to ever come out. The entire episode had only 4 main key animators , Atsushi Wakabayashi - directed ep 167 , ep 133 (Naruto vs Sasuke) , ep 30 (sasuke vs orochimaru) , ep 71 (Orochimaru vs Hiruzen) , Shingo Yamashita made JJK ops chainsaw man op and many more , Kenichi Kutsuna , and the goat Norio Matsumoto. They elevated the fuck out of the source material and made this masterpiece. The amount of cuts in this one episode is monstrous and is the equivalent of 4-5 regular Shippuden episodes in terms of budget , time and effort. Naruto series is just blessed to have this kind of GEM.
Thank goodness we have this, swear we should be appreciating these animators even more but holy hell I always regard this as one of my favorite animations in all anime.
There is no competition. Anyone who doesn't put naruto as the greatest anime of all time either haven't watched it or forgot how great it was. Absolute Cinema. Peak direction and peak writing. Osts were out of this world. How could anything compete against this ?

Naruto is great but the last quarter of Ship destroyed much of it. Additionally ,there are too retcons and inconsistencies and Kishimoto redeeming every single antagonist gets old real fast.
To whom wanted to know more about Naruto's background To sum up, Naruto's core vaule is to use Confucian thoughts of benevolence to fight against the painful world of infinite reincarnation in Buddhism. Naruto was able to stick to his will until the last moment. The Author of Naruto believes only LOVE can triumph Hatred and selfishness. Therefore he created Naruto, he entrust the our real world to his reader, like Jiraiya entrust the Ninja world to Naruto. When everyone are holding will of love, the real peace come true
I think anything Disney did with Star Wars with the exception of Rogue One was simply a fan-fiction. My headcanon cuts off everything past the OG and Prequels
Nick. Thank you so much for allowing me to rewatch Naruto in such easy way so that I can be reminded of all the highs it gave and the love I had for it. Over the years, there were some episodes or arcs (so much filler!) that I missed, making my memory of the series hazy. However, when I was a child and all the big 3 were still on, I remember I placed Naruto at the top despite my love for all 3 and now I remember why. This episode in particular is absolutely legendary. I can recall that after watching it the first time and completely losing my mind over it, I took out my family's camcorder to i record the episode and remember it forever. Watching Hinata finally confess, naruto going full kyuubi mode and then finally meeting the legendary fourth Hokage, who at the time was the most mysterious and whose hype easily eclipsed any other characters, was absolutely mind-shattering. Thanks to you I can recall all those moments and why I loved Naruto best. This is truly a one-of-a-kind anime that I've yet to see recreated with the same genius. The fights were the best, the villains the most memorable, the ost a masterpiece and no one does character introductions and entrances like Kishimoto. (tho I eventually did have my criticism of it) Thank you so much for making it easy for me to experience this moment again. I hope you can somewhat come to understand the sort of childhood this series (and the Big 3 era in general) provided by making the lives of millions of people more epic and why it's so cherished.
I agree. This arc won anime, solidified Naruto's spot in the big 3. It's an emotional rollercoaster. I don't understand why people have genuine hate for Naruto. This arc for me was an 11/10. Everything that happens after for me is an 8/10, still exceptional to me
@the_kranthikajol not the pain arc, people are just hating on naruto in general. I've seen many people put it on a list of the most overrated anime of all time
Naruto seeing Hinata get killed and just LOSING his mind to the Kyubi in rage... my GOODNESS, man. It sends chills down my spine. Every single time. And the fight? It's all just so, SO PEAK. I'm so glad he's finally experiencing it. Love his reactions, man, this is amazing.
Remember Nick, some people hate Naruto and think it's a bad series and that it's the worst of the big 3, or worse yet they think that it's nowhere near Bleach or One Piece. Those were the people telling you not to watch this peak, this ABSOLUTE CINEMA! Bleach fans, and especially One Piece fans, are just something else man.
The scene from 18:29 all the way to when Pain gets thrown into the mountain is the best scene of any show or movie I've ever seen. It is indomitable. The "Kakuzu" OST that plays as well is the best OST choice for that scene. It is also the most epic scene, and I mean "epic" as in its literal definition. Just like you said, it's theatrical and cinematic. That scene will never get old.
Attack on Titan is a phenomenal anime, but honestly this arc was the best in all of anime, Naruto returning to the village to save it and avenge his teacher, the love confession from hinata, her death and the blankness of his stare before resorting to the fox, the asteroids falling with the opera music, Yamato giving up as Naruto deciding to give into the rage, and then meeting his father. I have never had that experience in any attack on titan episode. This is peak story writing in all of entertainment
When Kishimoto gives Hinata a moment, you know that it's her time to shine (character development). She's brave, like for real, and always was. In ep 166, you see how much she loves Naruto that she's not afraid to lose everything including her own life, and how much Naruto really cares about her. His scream, when she was beaten like a puppy, and "Don't come..." with his voice breaking... But when she's got the "final" attack from Pain... Goddamn, that fear in Naruto's eyes, that pain, that sorrow, and that burning rage in the end... He couldn't take it anymore, and blew up like a nuclear bomb in hatred... One of the coldest and the most brutal moments in the series (imo). Ep 167 - well, you know its crazy as hell, no more words needed, haha but the last minute of this ep is one hell of emotional rollercoaster... PEAK gonna take some tissues 🤧
And hinata too. I mean how could she survive in the midst of all that destruction she was literally in between pain and naruto. Atleast they could have shown like pain throwing her so far away... It would've make sense
11:37 Pain : kills Hinata Kyuubi : "I've been shipping them for *years* and she JUST CONFESSED" Pain : "Do you hate me now?" Kyuubi : *Kicks the door open*

Simplemente para mi es el mejor anime de la historia, por la emoción que transmite con sus escenas, los OST lo hace ser algo único, es la magia de este anime, ninguna anime puede llegar a estos niveles
I think if you ask people about their favourite Naruto episode, episode 322 will most probably win the poll. 167 does not make the cut because the change in animation was so radical and the fight turned loony toons-type. Such a serious and important fight should not have people laughing through it as Nick was (One Piece is the exception, of course). But, IMO, episode 166 (the Hinata one) is the most underrated and the second best Naruto episode! The entire episode was cinematic with flashbacks woven in seamlessly and god tier OST playing throughout.
People calling this lunny tunes animation don't appreciate the art of fiction. I only make an exception for pain's legs doing the wheel thing when he runs. The rest is perfect. If you laugh at the pain frames it's not the animation being bad is you being too shallow
from shikamaru's arc in shippuden to this might be the greatest run of an anime ever. The strorytelling is incredible, coherent, relatable and thought provoking. To me, this is partly what cemented Naruto's place as one of the all time anime greats.
I think one key difference between this and AOT is that AOT has a far superior structure, plot, red herrings, and twist and turns. The characters on the other hand come second to the story. I think Naruto focuses much more on the characters emotional moments and on the story second.
@@lankeysob maybe the anime is coloring my comment. I never read the Naruto manga, so it always felt that it was a bit unfocused. The plot always felt very straightforward and that was okay. The characters, back stories, and power scale fights were far more interesting. I think the universe of Naruto is richer, and had more interesting depth. But AOTs storytelling was way more focused, tight, and deliberate. For me, I liked Naruto's world building more than AOT
Naruto fights are believed to be one of the best in anime history which tho Contains flashy @ss moves bang boom 💥 but also the DIRECTION of the fights and All the elements they put into it makes it EPIC 🔥
This ark, Marineford, and the soul society are the reason Naruto one piece and bleach are the big three. they all aired around the same time, the arks were so good that they opened the eyes of millions of people across the country.
The whole fjnal part of the Pain arc (starting with Pain invading the village) is an absolute masterpiece and one of my favourite arcs ever in any series. It's an incredible emotional rollercoaster with so many fantastic moments, one after another, especially these past three episodes. I still believe to this day that the ending of this arc would've been the perfect finale to the series (if it wasn't for the unfinished plot points ofc). And Hinata once again proved beyond any doubt what an incredibly strong and kind person she is, her struggle against Pain is one of my favourite moments jn the series. She doesn't get too many times to shine unfortunately, but whenever she does, she always reaffirms her place as my favourite female character in the series. Such a likeable character.
Been waiting a long time for you to reach this episode. It really is perfection. I love how the music that plays as the final scene unfolds is so 'tragic' and desperate and triumphant. Could have been really aggressive and in your face but the gravity and implication of what was or wasn't about to happen made that choice of music just perfect.
Originally the Hinata "death scene" was way more hard hitting, since we actually thought she was dead. The existence of Boruto unfortunately spoils that feeling.
NICK DO YOU GET IT NOW?! DO YOU KNOW PAIN? Yes, Hinata shines in this arc. She literally my favorite so this combined with her arc during the chunin exams, as well as the fact that SHE MAKES HER OWN JUTSU DURING THE TIME SKIP, will forever hold an iconic place for me in my youth. I'm so glad I got to grow up with her, as someone who was very like her and inspired by Naruto in the same ways she was. Like Hinata, Naruto helped me believe in myself and make my own path. It made my day the first time you said you loved her, because I usually never hear that. She's usually called annoying and "too shy", but not every young girl is outgoing and chatty. Some are naturally quieter, and yet can talk around the right people like we see Hinata do more during Boruto. I'm so glad she had Neji there to help her during the time skip. I wish we'd gotten more of that, but alas, at least she was somewhat well written because Kishimoto loves her and based her off of his own wife. Of course, I think their relationship could have been better written early on, but that's part of writing, you learn as you go. So the Last, the Naruto movie after this series, is better even though it retcons some early parts. And of course the music is iconic. I've seen it all before a few times, but watchhing it with you had me crying more than my first watch through. Fun fact though: Kishimoto did not plan on writing Boruto, he approved his old editor to do that and then took over it when he screwed it up. It really is better than some people say. Has a lot less problems than Naruto, because Naruto existed to teach Kishimoto how to write better. "He knocked the frames out of him" had me rolling. Yes, some of this animation sucks at some parts to make the first episode better. It still gets clowned on. I'm grinning. That ending never gets old. Wait until you see the rest. Yes. Yes, just, yes. And yes, weekly sucked. You never would have survived. It was insane. I watched a bunch at a time because I didn't have weekly access to Shippuden, but online was the way.
The episode 167 (Chibaku tensei) is one of the best episode I've seen not just in Naruto but in anime, probably my favourite alongside "Perfect game" and "Hero" from SNK.
I would have died when Hinata got stabbed if everyone weren't spoiling me about boruto (I started watching when Boruto was announced so everyone was talking about Naruto and Hinata's child)

Mas a coreografia é tão bem feita que no final se torna nota 10, independente da qualidade da animação.

The weird looking frames are referred to as smear frames in animation, they are done to accentuate movement and sort of simulate motion blur.
People don't understand but it's because of these frames, the animation looks so intense, fitting for this type of direction and it suits it well imo
That's an excuse for bad animation

One of the best Rage Moments in anime history ever 🔥
Naruto has some if Not The Best Osts in anime, they're so sick
Pain's Theme called "Girei" Always gonna be The Dopest One The Best in all Naruto period IMO. Shit is Epic as hell
As a One Piece fan, I also admit that Naruto has the best OST in the big 3 or even anime.
How could anything compete against this ?
especially the direction... I like one piece but its nothing like Naruto when it comes to osts, editing, sound design, etc...
Even the animation is better imo..
And it sucks because one piece deserves great direction and animation.
i hope they fix it in the remake..
naruto is great, but not the greatest, maybe you should wach more animes
@@GaurangAgrawal2one piece always had good to great animation but since wano sh"t is legit top tier when it comes to animation just pure sakuga fest and it's even better in new arc. Because they are somehow having a healthy schedule and got industry's best talent on board

Naruto is great but the last quarter of Ship destroyed much of it. Additionally ,there are too retcons and inconsistencies and Kishimoto redeeming every single antagonist gets old real fast.

To sum up, Naruto's core vaule is to use Confucian thoughts of benevolence to fight against the painful world of infinite reincarnation in Buddhism.

Therefore he created Naruto, he entrust the our real world to his reader, like Jiraiya entrust the Ninja world to Naruto.

16:30 Capybaras😂😂😂 What a peak Episode!! 💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah, I almost pissed myself when he said that😹😹😹😭
I agree. This arc won anime, solidified Naruto's spot in the big 3. It's an emotional rollercoaster.
I don't understand why people have genuine hate for Naruto.
This arc for me was an 11/10. Everything that happens after for me is an 8/10, still exceptional to me
People hate pain arc? It's literally top 3 arc of all anime right?
@the_kranthikajol not the pain arc, people are just hating on naruto in general. I've seen many people put it on a list of the most overrated anime of all time
Want the answer? People actually don't hate Naruto. They hate it's fanbase.

Bleach fans, and especially One Piece fans, are just something else man.
the episode just started and hes already screaming... i think he likes naruto
So ya hate Naruto ???😂
The scene from 18:29 all the way to when Pain gets thrown into the mountain is the best scene of any show or movie I've ever seen. It is indomitable. The "Kakuzu" OST that plays as well is the best OST choice for that scene. It is also the most epic scene, and I mean "epic" as in its literal definition. Just like you said, it's theatrical and cinematic. That scene will never get old.
Best Arc.
Best Villain.
Best fight Pain vs Naruto And The Nine Tails. Nothing Beats This, The Best moment in ALL Naruto Datebayo
PEAK
gonna take some tissues 🤧
man i love ur reactions, pure excitement, really brings me back to when i first watched these shows
I can't Believe that the small slug survive in Naruto's nine tails form😅😅
And hinata too. I mean how could she survive in the midst of all that destruction she was literally in between pain and naruto. Atleast they could have shown like pain throwing her so far away... It would've make sense

167 was just peak all the way from the start to the end.

Also, with the years i've come to love the fight. Looked weird in the past but it's actually a well animated one considering the speed of everything

The editing of this video was done very well. Enjoyed a lot!
Keep up the good work!
The first part of 167 is crazy. The second part tones down.
I will say that episode 322 just good, not even close to peak 167.
from shikamaru's arc in shippuden to this might be the greatest run of an anime ever.
AOT and Naruto have one thing in common. Both authors kinda dropped the ball at the end. Just shows you how difficult it is to finish a manga.
@@Martyyri i mean war arc is still pretty good, the only ball kishimoto dropped was greenlighting boruto and fucking up scaling after greenlighting it
Exactly...
Nah hard disagree. AoT is mid in all those departments compared to Naruto.

ONE OF THE BEST EP EVER
This is the moment where PAIN became one of the coolest characters in anime
Btw the same animation wre in the og Naruto vs Sasuki
Naruto, just pure chaos of emotions
The episode 167 (Chibaku tensei) is one of the best episode I've seen not just in Naruto but in anime, probably my favourite alongside "Perfect game" and "Hero" from SNK.
