In recent years, some new video game secrets have been uncovered. Some easter egg have even laid dormant for more than decade. I thought I'd take a look at some of my favourites. Enjoy!

I still remember people freaking out after finding that Egg in Futurama couple months ago, wondering what the hell the steps to it were and it was finally discovered. Satisfying to see that happen.

@@armiks22 I wasn't saying all the hidden G-Man locations were what has just been found. I was specifically referring to the last one I showed inside the machine. I looked everywhere and found no information about it. It was revealed by a developer and judging by how Half Life fans reacted to it, I'm assuming it wasn't "known since the day HL2 was released".
I remember doing the seal easter egg with my brother on Splinter Cell a few years back, we were playing late at night with the TV volume low, had to be quiet since people were sleeping, next thing we know we find a seal and it blasts the music. We laughed so hard at that moment. Fantastic game.

I would recommend the book, the movie was OK but they changed one major thing in the plot.

Erick Hernandez Mendiola he probably records each clip with long pauses before and after the interaction, so he can edit it in that way. it’s a subtle thing that i notice he does a lot and i fucking love it every time.

That's insane! I heard about that Futurama egg a long time ago when someone saw it through the wall but no one at the time knew how to get to it. I figured it would never be figured out and there it is. Those steps are really random so it's even more surprising that it was found. Thanks for showing it as I had almost forgotten about it!

Right? When I saw the thumbnail my first thought was, "Wait, did someone actually figure out how to open that up or are they just clipping the camera through the wall again?"
So glad that someone finally worked out how to get that one properly.
But there's gotta be a way to crack the egg.. Maybe if you hit it a specific amount of times or smth?
I love the game put a smile on me that there was that much dedication to hide something and I thought RDR2 giant hermit steps was obscure.
Underrated game. It wasn't perfect and got some stick from reviewers in period but the graphics were excellent and it was a joy for Futurama fans

I love this video, it's just what the title card says, its just Easter eggs, you don't add an obnoxious voice or relate everything, you made your video very relaxing and just edited it in a way that kind of fits the music.

lets be real who would have guessed to shoot a random power box wasting ammo in the first five seconds of the level its something so easy to overlook

Here's a really old one that I don't think I have seen anyone mention yet:
In the original Warcraft or Warcraft II (I think it was one of those anyway) there was a button somewhere in the settings where you could test the compatibility of your sound card.
When you pressed the button, a male voice with a very strong british accent would enthusiastically exclaim "Your SOUND card works perfectlyy!". If you kept pressing the button a number of times the voice would ask "Enjoying yourself?". And if you continued to press it some more times after that the voice would finally angrily exclaim "IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!".
I thought this was gonna be a normal video with boring commentary in the background, but this is so high quality and much more enjoyable than those

I’ve been an avid Half-Life fan for years, but I hadn’t heard of the HL2 final G-Man location until now. I’m fucking astonished, not only was there one final hidden G-Man which had been missed, but it was incredibly subtle.

For some old games like half life, RE4, etc. They make a community and tried to solve the easter egg together, in my opinion

man, I remember when the futurama easter egg was still unsolved and people were still out there knowing that it existed but had no idea how to actually solve it. It's crazy how secret developers keep some stuff. Even the COD Zombies one shown the developers have said that there are still easter eggs from World at War that people haven't discovered yet.

Imagine how many of these were discovered by us when we were young, but nobody thought it was a big deal since we didn't have as much knowledge on what an Easter egg is we only thought "oh cool" and moved on.

as far as i know... no one actually knows who that is in RE4, i've seen plenty of video's about it and all that is said about it is: "its most likely someone from the dev-team, but no clue who that actually is." which is the weirdest part lol

You wouldn't annoy me by asking that. It's cool to know people are waiting for me to upload. For future reference, I don't really have an upload schedule. I try to upload once every week or two somewhere between Friday and Monday.

waited till the end wasn't disappointed. the name struck me as i subbed to GuruKidHD presuming its the same person as the video is greatness. took me back.
All of these just put a big smile on my face. Some of them (like the splinter seal egg) were just because of how cute and weird they were. Others (like halo, zombies, half life, ect.) were because i grew up with them and have such good memories with and it makes me happy to see that they haven’t been forgotten and theres still stuff to find in my favorite games.
