What's the best feature you like? Adjustability or How you Can Customize the Color options??
Answering your question I like the offset aspect of them but most of all all of the colors available for a new wheel which usually don't happen till later on I know there's only one style for now 5 spoke and 10 but knowing Boom there'll be more styles very soon love this vid too good stuff

@@TheRCNetwork yes most definitely need the affordability part and what I like is the 4 offsets you can do and unlike the Ottsix offsets they come in many colors plus scale hardware which Ottsix doesn't offer I'm not bashing Matt and Ottsix cause he also makes quality parts their just a little pricey but very good quality

I love adjustable off-set wheels,. MST makes them for drift cars, so easy to change offsets as needed from body to body 😎
I just fixed it - not sure why it was down.. Yes, I remember some drift wheels from Tetsujin a couple years ago. They were way ahead of it's time

I'm wondering if you could recommend aluminum wheels with adjustable offsets for onroad tires?, or can these be used for onroad 1/10 - 1.9 tires as well?

I know that Tetsujin shop.tetsujin.biz/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=67 has adjustable offset wheels for drift cars....which might be the same for onroad. They adjust from 2mm to 5mm to 8mm offsets as the wheel is assembled. They have others that are 3/6/9mm offsets....Look at anything labeled "Super Rim"

Very nice wheel, might pick up a set. One thing i don’t understand is the hub size.
The hubs are for 12mm hexes...and will have different offsets depending on your application.
Those are definitely cool looking! I may have to get a set for my TRX4 kit and I just got it running yesterday. I have the Traxxas beadlocks on order but nothing wrong with having more than one set of wheels for something. Which hub size is needed for a TRX4? It has multiple part numbers listed in the drop down box.
EDIT: Nevermind, was watching it again and noticed the part number when you were showing the different offsets in the manual. XT604 correct?
They fit the TRX-4 perfect, BTW
So when you go on the website to build these you can get different herbs in different offsets do you have any suggestions on which one to get probably going to put these on a Capra
Originally when these were sent out, there wasn't an option for hub sizes....
The RCNetwork Cool just got mine in the other day ended up going with a 4 mm hub I think that turned out to be a really good all set for me as I want to run them with kind of a deep face great review

Yes, they fit standard SLW hubs...just a bit tight, but they fit. You’ll have to use SAE hardware though

Very cool, but when ordering the wheels on Boom Racing's site they list parts with different labels than their exploded diagram. Are the front & back pieces the wheel barrels? I assume the faceplate is the wheel face? A more precise description of parts would help.

Rookie question, Rich... are beadlocks for crawlers only? These look great, and I’ve been wanting to upgrade the wheels on my HoBao epx Semi, but not sure how they’d perform at speed
Yeah, they're mostly for crawlers...however, I have ran aluminum beadlocks at speed with no issues. Crawlers like weight down low, which these help with
@@TheRCNetwork Thanks Rich. Weight down low for the EPX Semi won't do it any harm... an even lower centre of gravity for this truck will be great. Will send an update when I receive them.
do you need to use loctite?
I personally use a small amount of blue loctite for my crawler/U4RC wheels.

VP's SLW do fit....but you will have to use their hardware

For the record GCM has been selling wheels designed like this since late 2018. Boom racing developed these wheels the same way they develop almost everything else they sell, by stealing and copying the design from someone else.
I've been watching the guys at GCM for years - big fan of their chassis. But, I never heard that they released wheels - so I just looked and I'm actually more confused than before visiting their website. Tiny photos, poorly explained and no mention of an adjustable offset that I could see. So, if they've been selling them, they're not reaching very many people. but that's my marketing side coming out. Boom has been improving and these wheels are a good example of their efforts. Plus the name...."GCM" I always get mixed up with "GPM" which is a very poorly executed aluminum upgrade product line.
