Many thanks for the guide Pain. Underlord was my go-to offlaner when 7.33 came out but after playing him so excessively I got tired of using him so I didn't for a while. Despite his simplicity I didn't put as much thought when deciding what to buy and in what order which in hindsight I should have. Once again thank you for the guide. It'd be cool if you make an offlaner guide for Pudge and Primal Beast, the former I'm already familiar with and the latter something I wanna pick up and add to my hero pool 👍

Hi PainDota! I love your content. It’s super well broken down, and I love that you really put in your study in your content. It really shows in your videos. I would ask for more offlane content. Carry builds are cool, but so many players seem so confused in my games (NA divine) when it comes to playing offlane properly. It would be nice to see also, different players’ playstyles and how they can vary in their approach to the role as well. Even in the pro scene, a lot of offlane players come from different positions moving into the role, whether it’s from mid, carry or support - so I’m sure they all bring different perspectives and approaches to their games. It’s super cool that you do look into player/hero combinations that are successful so we know what works! Continue your great work!
Also, there is a reson why I and most Underlord players go with Vanguard 80% of my game. While laning if I notice the enemy is not warding our triangle or checking camp large camp near their the lane, I would stack the camp or if my support is smart, they would stack and pull the wave at the same time. The camp would get larger and larger. If the enemy carry tries to take that camp, they would take massive damage from that camp allowing me to finish them off or: since I have Vanguard, I would clear the wave using Firestorm and tanking the damage with Vanguard and passive with no problem. Killing or exhausting enemy carry's regen resources is of great value when playing offlane and the option of being able to jump from Vanguard straight to pipe / atos is also in the cards at the same time depending on enemy lineup, itemization varies but the key here is to jump to a core item fast from Vanguard and to push the tier 1 tower fast then pushing the next tier 1 item or going jungle if enemy is too strong in early then trying to push whenever they try to make a move to make space on the map for the carry. Since I started playing Underlord 1.5 years ago I've noticed more and more people playing Underlord offlane. He was not the most popular offlane hero at least in my games for years before that. Everyone always preferred Axe, Legion, DK, Necro, Mars and so on for the offlane. I 've noticed even Nightstalker has dropped in Offlane popularity which is a shame because the hero is incredibly good.
Am sir, can u make a video on how to choose a right role for us. Like me i dunno what i choose pos 1 or pos 2. I can play both but they say i should have focus one. Pls help
To simplify, dota is some combination of PvP and PvE, If you enjoy PvE more - choose carry, if you enjoy PvP more - mid is for you, idk why you even ask people tho, its up to you, its just a game, and no problem if you decent on several roles, mid and carry are core roles, some overlap is defenately there
One of the best Underlord guide! straight into the game, play style, skill builds, item choices, situations. Deserves a subscribe.

Thanks i love your video explaining about different types of lane and item customization. Do you perhaps have a guide for dark seer?
thanks for the guide man, this is helpful when i go offlane instead of safe lane sometimes
Glad it helped
This is why I play Underlord so often. Very simple but good hero with strong emphasis on teamwork.
