Herald through Archon (vast majority of players), the supports do such worse griefing: wandering off and let carry be right-clicked by enemy offlane duo, taking your CS, pulling at bad times or not at all, picking heroes like sniper as pos5, the list goes on. I can appreciate that folks like you and BSJ are at a high level, so you might call the slightest misplay a grief. But generally speaking these "griefed" videos demonstrate mid to upper tier support behavior for Archon and below. A typical grief for < 3500MMR presents a significantly harder challenge to overcome. What's worse for climbing in MMR, you're going to see one on your team nearly every other game. I really want to see a video showcasing strategies for a significantly worse grief or early game start for a team.
While I agree with you (currently struggling with low legend and I experience almost everything you mentioned regularly), this kind if video is still valuable for the insights on some of the decision making (like showing vs not showing and why, for example). Even if in lane is generally worse and in a gank situation your support probably won't have a force staff to save you because they want to build something greedy, in ranked their carry is likeky to have similar issues so the player that makes the least amount of mistakes should be getting more mmr over time
yeah I kinda loled on the pulling talk because the issue with my supports at legend is that my supports brainlessly pull all the time when the lane is already at tower and they're just not laning with me

But it's chill and I like teaching them.
This is not allowed to be called grief at all. If you think this amount of misplay is grief, then you have no idea how horrible it is in Ancient> brackets. What we expect from you is: Let's say you have a pudge pos5 who never hooks or pulls, never helps deny or harrass. You have a nyx mid who feeds. In order to escape this bracket, we have to learn to deal with these degenerates and win some of those games. Not these friendly teammates you call griefers.
Lol, what you're describing isn't griefing either. Sure it's an important mechanic that they should know and implement into their playstyle, but griefing has to have malicious intent. Griefing is a pos4 Jakiro following a WK and stealing his farm in the jungle for whole 10 mins because WK was farming (he was pos2) and WK refused to join teamfights (it was the 15th min, WK was way ahead with his farm than the opponents carry and mid, and we were doing decently in our teamfights even if we were 4). He stopped after 10 mins of griefing him, and we lost by a pretty small margin because the enemy made quite a lot of mistakes. If he didn't grief, we would have absolutely won that one.
I learn a lot from his other videos, but this video is just smurfing... He can even get his teammates to give him tangoes, and it's an inhouse game?? I was expecting to see feeder/useless teammates, no one warding etc. This is a perfectly normal game with decent teammates, only MMR is lower.
Now explain a scenario where: 1. Your sup wants last hits 2. Your sup gets carry items 3. Your sup is super aggressive diving into tower and if he dies, it’s your fault for not supporting him. 4. Your Core whom you supported for 12-14 mins with maximum farm along with 3-4 kills, gets disconnected after 20-30 minutes. 5. Your Team went back to our Jungle to farm more to complete their rest of the items they saw on TH-cam. When 5 enemies are dead for atleast 30 seconds. 6. Your mid don’t know rotation until level 12+ and fed for more than 10 times in 12 minutes.
in lower bracket this kind of tips paindota given is useful for 2 or 3 man party, lower brackets has a low IQ mindset and Itemization they just want to play and just want to buy items they just want to buy not what there cores need or the team needs. so its better you have 3 man party to have a good rank boost
if it can happen to you, it can happen to the enemy team, if you're better then you will win most of your games and climb, because its not gonna happen to you every single game. stop playing the victim

I love how this guy says he got griefed. He clearly has no idea what actual 3k position 5 supports do when you play void. Try playing a game where your position 5 feeds the offlane off respawn, never pulls, never blocks, and then come back and tell me how to win those kinds of games.
Furthermore, these guys play on 30 ping with 200+ FPS so the game is buttery smooth and responsive for them whilst most of us are playing on 100 ping with barely 90 FPS systems. If you could play on 30 ping with 200+ FPS you would automatically get good within a few months without any tips/help at all.
Is that happening to you in EVERY game? Some games of course you’ll lose due to poor teammates but you can win 7/10 games if you improve your style and climb. Still there are going to be those 3 losses but you’ll climb. If it’s happening to you in 5/10 games, then you’re in your bracket and things won’t improve for you

What if your hard support is anti mage? Or if your support is sniper and your offlane is faceless void? Mid alchemist all in one match ? Most games in low mmr are like this

I’ve seen BSJ do videos like these too, but when your teammates know you’re smurfing they are not going to grief, they’re going to play more coordinated, they’re going to pick good heroes (probably their best ones), they’re going to go out of their way to assist you and listen to your calls. So you’re smurfing, but you’re playing under ideal circumstances, which is not the typical griefers/weird hero picks/lack of coordination that people struggle most to deal with.
Hey bro just wanted to reply to this and give my thoughts. I think the difference in standards between immortal players vs the rest of the dota community is just very different. To put it bluntly, immortals have really high expectations. I see other immortals like HenryDota literally rage at plays he sees as "griefing", but to me and most of his viewers, it really didn't even seem close to a grief. It has probably been too long since they've played in the lower brackets, so anything less than immortal level game play comes across as a grief to them. Once they spend more time here in our brackets they'll see what a true grief is lmao

NOONE on the other team had even a dust, or a sentry, or a gem. If there are 4 enemys with invis items anyone with a free slot should have dust. But their support didnt have dust, their offlaner with 2 free slots had not dust. So they lost every fight because if it started to look like a win the enemys went invis, they followed 1 guy that was low and then ripped his head of. They kept doing it, and noone tought to buy dust...
I think the difference is being able to overcome your own mental state. (After OD Astral for Fun make lose over 10k networth) But we have to control ourselves to carry the game forward. xd

Where nothing is controlled ha and you’re support 5 doesn’t do what he’s supposed to do at all. (No pulls, no range creep secure, no hard camp deward) legend bracket is so incredibly hard to come back from when you’re behind so hard. I think there’s a large gap in skill when it comes to 3k-5k. I feel more than half of my games I’m having to do a majority of the support stuff as I’m carry. Or I have to leave to jungle way earlier than I need to

The skill difference between servers must be HUUUGE... I west EU as soon as there is an invisible hero there is a good chance that at least one is carring dust / sentries in huge amounts. I am one of those people (especially as carry) and I am not that high. It is even pinged out that we carry dust around.

Simply not true that creep aggro is not applied in low Elo. Actual low Elo players may not know how to do it. But thete are enough players in low Elo, that creep aggro the hell out of you. Can you do such an example when your lane opponents are also Smurfs and your Support is afk at the tower and occasionally feeds into the enemy landers?

that venge is smurf also, so it was 2 smurfs in 1 game, on top of that your whole team is playing well for that mmr. Im not saying that your are not playing great, butt man you are going to lose 30% games+ even as smurf coz rigged matchmaking.

In crusader 5 someone always out of possition someone always outfarmed someone always just farm jungle... No one is showeling Lane and go jungle, no one build normal atribuites early.. No one haras The enemy în laneing stage... Poor dewarding + no smoke calls

At 12:45, I think you're supposed to pressure go with Venge on Mirana and pressure her or kill her then pressure the tower. I don't think you made the right play. Maybe I'm wrong though.
I dont believe that 5k player would just walk into two heroes to get one creep with 200hp, i just dont believe it. If everyine from your region is like that, im moving. I feel like eastern\western europe 2-3k is like 5-6k american

The skill difference between servers must be HUUUGE... I west EU as soon as there is an invisible hero there is a good chance that at least one is carring dust / sentries in huge amounts. I am one of those people (especially as carry) and I am not that high. It is even pinged out that we carry dust around.

Simply not true that creep aggro is not applied in low Elo. Actual low Elo players may not know how to do it. But thete are enough players in low Elo, that creep aggro the hell out of you.
Can you do such an example when your lane opponents are also Smurfs and your Support is afk at the tower and occasionally feeds into the enemy landers?

What if you counter pick and play Luna against Naga offlane ? You can win right ? Easy! But your hard support is necro , blocks 1st creep waves , take almost all last hits with 1st skill goes jungle and stays there , while we try to cs next wave near offlane tower both of them harass and push you back
Try to pull with neutral creep? It’s blocked , unblock with sentry? No sentry in shop. Let’s wait till the waves push automatically, they deny 2 waves no problem let’s wait more . Necro is back with 1st skill . Try to rush mask and farm neutrals? Necro is there . Go enemy side jungle? Ok easy farm . Got 500 gold farming 5 mins . Now the tier 2 is pushed. Didn’t defend ? Naga with yasha and support vs a mask?

that venge is smurf also, so it was 2 smurfs in 1 game, on top of that your whole team is playing well for that mmr. Im not saying that your are not playing great, butt man you are going to lose 30% games+ even as smurf coz rigged matchmaking.
