I dont know how many years I got this!Tons of dust!!! You make it shine ! Maybe I ll try it after this (maybe)... You put it on the map again , for me at least. Thanks Vee
Great flight dude!! This is my first premium aircraft and I in joy it a lot especially in specialized configuration,it does 61 on maneuverability and it can out tern most multi rolls. Keep doing videos like that I’m learning from you a lot 👍
I know it's 5 months ago, but just watched this video. Cool game play! A note about tapered wings - the main idea of tapered wings is to reduce the wing tip vortex, which in turn reduces drag and improves roll rate. Same idea behind the elliptical wing of the Spitfire (the wing of which had a higher critical mach number than the later Spiteful that featured a "laminar flow" wing). This is taken to it's logical conclusion on the XF5U Flapjack (the Pancake was the initial civilian prototype), where the props are designed to rotate the opposite direction to the wing tip vortex, hence cancelling it out. Given the size of the "wings" on that it shows how much drag the wing tip vortex causes in a conventional plane.
SawnOffLockie very cool! I love learning new things, keep it coming. I am sure I am not alone in this opinion. Also I read every comment as I only really get about 5 a day on the high end so it’s a nice distraction throughout the day.
@@Veebat Wish I could fly like you do, but I'm still re-learning the game after a 2-year hiatus. Love the channel; I think you have a very good natural presentation style. Further on tapered wings, the other extreme on attempting to reduce the wing tip vortex is seen on airliner and glider wings (or even propellers for that matter), where a high aspect ratio wing is used (ratio of span to mean chord, i.e. long narrow wings), which again reduces the effect of the vortex, and hence increases efficiency. This is where fans are sometimes used in place of a prop, as since they are in a duct they eliminate the vortex coming of the end of the prop. But of course there are other losses with fans, and not always more efficient.
huh... I pretty much overlooked this just due to the abysmal firepower... might have to reconsider now that I've seen it in action, maybe when I'm in the mood to get a lower-tier premium again :-)
What is your overall progress on all of the lines? Do u have all of the non premium planes? If I could request a plane, I would request the f-84f mostly because I don't think I've ever seen any replays with that plane before. I'm almost done with the xp-72, but I'm curious how the tier 10 flies
Prince of Hyrule th-cam.com/video/p6JPEnMY38g/w-d-xo.html. I got you 😉 Now that I’m home from work let me full answer your question: I have finished the American Tech Tree, I need to finish her Ta 152 line for Germany, The Yak and La line for the USSR, Hunter and Swift for UK and lastly the Japanese i am at tier 9 for bot lines. Bear in mind I don’t keep planes unless I really like them or they are a tier X (I’m holding out hope for a clan wars mode like WoT).
_Rumple_ that is the pattern, but to be fair the game starts everyone in turn fighters (biplanes) then just expects you to figure out that turning isn’t everything. That learning curve gets steep at tier V with jerks like me flying around XD.
@@Veebat It's those low tier missions. It's not the fault of players; I blame WG. If I drop down to tier 3 or 2 to complete a mission, I usually tell the opposing player(s) "only here for a mission, ignore me and I ignore you." Of course, if they are specialized, I figure they are seal clubbing and go after them, lol.
I Skill this plane full on Speed and boost xDDD If some Spitfire i behind you, jut push boost and he eat your dust xD It ist hard to play but if you know how to play ( like a Heavy little bit ) you can Dominate them
I invite my EU players to please chime in here. Attitude wise it is a much friendlier place then other war gaming titles. Those that have stuck around through the trials and tribulations pride themselves on good attitudes and maturity. But I think you are asking a numbers question. From what some of my EU commenters have indicated they see about 3-5 players per team each battle. But the devs have made some pretty good bots and recently added functions to command one bot ally to better influence their gravity of effort on the battlefield.
@@Veebat Thanks for the reply! So around half of the players are human. I don't know what kind of impact that has, but I would imagine that beyond the very first weeks of playing, a human player will be better than a bot. Great to hear that it's such a friendly community!
@@henrikw377 Bots at low tiers are pretty dumb. You really have to watch out for the heavy fighter ram by bots if you are in a light fighter they will head on ram you every time. Just some advise for a beginner. I found that out the hard way
I find XF4U-1 to be superior in every way except absolute top speed and top gun range, which you don't really need anyway. It has better damage output especially at higher HP targets, better maneurability, basically the same speed, much better endurance, and longer boost. You can consistently disengage from Me 209 V4 in a XF4U-1 and you don't need to as you can outturn it anytime.
hey vee! I am really glad you enjoyed this aircraft! you really helped me on how to make it work. Huge fan of your channel man!

very nice high alt. light fighter (frame).
people at this tier dont know how to counter it = makes games pretty awesome :)

kinda lame I got the He 100, but I cant complain when I got it specialized.

Not sure this plane is for newer players; the few times I see this plane, players have tried to dogfight with it, which always ends badly.

My Me 209 V4 doesn't do that.
Aaron Banks but now you know it can 😉
@@Veebat Well, if the airframe were really at fault, you may be right. For my V4 to do that, would require you visiting Western NC, I fear. :-)
