"not too bad". You sunnuva... This is one of those lines that are harder for newer pilots to master, because it requires proper tact and knowledge. The guns weren't necessarily weak, the players game knowledge was weak. Coming back to it as a more experienced pilot I think is opening peoples eyes to their capacity. And the gun buffs help

I so agree. The Zero is such a one trick pony. So they become almost painful to fly higher tiers. Nothing beats them in a turn fight. But that is why you never pick a turn fight with them. ;)
I've always loved my P-40, and felt that the .50's at T5 were perfectly adequate for the job. It was as you went upwards that the lack in damage and range were felt. Starting with losing a pair of guns inexplicably at T6 with the Mustang A. I'm happy that WG finally gave the American MG the buff it needed, and if it means that more people have to learn to respect Warhawk, so much the better.
@@cologeek Thank you for the response. The Russian version has less powerful engine and has no rockets at all , correct? How about the dmg wise and maneuvering ? A little related topic, if you so kindly answer for me, please -- how do you compare the Japanese A6M3 (experimental) ? I was looking at the dmg , stock value, and it seems to me it is stronger than any other Tier 5. But I am no expert
Great video, as always, Vee. I have been a fan of the P-40 since I first got it. I've got mine spec'd but haven't flown it since the buff. I think it's about time that I do!
Nice video as always, I have a question for you, should I get the P-80A or the XF-85 Goblin? The XF-85 has better maneuverability, but I don't think it is good enough to fight vs Tier X planes, the P-80A looks more advantageous in that regard.
The IJN line has been under-powered since they introduced altitude bands right before launch (of all the head-scratching moves the devs made, that is still the biggest). But at least in 2.0 they have a role in locking down a zone as a defensive fighter. Before they were completely useless.🤷♂
While the P-40 might be a bit over-gunned now, it makes the XP-44 so much more fun to play (lack of maneuverability on the multi-role) so you can almost one-pass players and bots not paying attention to you.
A offtop question, im going for JAWA line, and im on 4 t and now is it better to go with heavy fighter to it or to light figheter, just what is more comfortable
Personally I went the heavy route since I hated the lack of versatility of the trunk fighters. The heavies also let you branch to both lines so it's a fast route all around. Just depends on what feels confortable.
ı send to supporta feed back weeks ago . with a list wich airplanes need some new modifications.the support sending to the developers ,after that report they maked a better fire range . to usa fighters.
From what I recall you have to log into the warplanes website first then select the premium shop. From there it's just a standard online purchasing process. They now take PayPal if I remember correctly.
OP? Your first comment on the Spit says everything. The Zero is at least balanced by it's vulnerability. Put any of the T5 fighters in that particular map situation and you should have a very good game. We all know it's a shooting gallery for the team who holds it.

What is the difference between the Russian P40 , T5 and the American P40 at T5 ?
@@naldebol The engine. The Soviet version has a less powerful engine that only works well at lower altitudes.
@@naldebol And the P-40 M105 carries rockets as ordinance.

Damage even better than my fully upgraded, fully calibrated Bf109E....scary!
Lawdy mercy, that was a game!

Intelligent_Zombie: Hey Vee, nice that you're posting again, A-26 Bomber tail gunner also has a nice buff, give it a go, nice game Brother
The P40 was amazing for me at tier five, and it broke my heart to sell it for my first Mustang. Makes sense that now it's crazy strong.
