No it doesn't, but if you pay enough money to the right person they can convert it for you. 😬👌🏼

Great video. I'm on the market for that tent and awning for a 79, so this was very useful. Would be great to see more of the build. Wife and I are currently trying to design a suitable canopy set up for our trips with 60litre fridge and I still dont know which suspension set up is best, tough dog, iron man or OME. Thanks for posting
Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. We will drop more videos soon, hopefully this month. Regarding suspension, we are running EFS Extreme suspension. Works GREAT on the cruisers.
Do you think this tent is a big upgrade from the Gen 3.1? I can get the 3.1 30% cheaper but not sure of the improvements of the Gen 3R justify the higher price.
Well, I mentioned all the new features. So if you think you need the new features, then yes. Most people install their own solar anyway, so you will be able to make a plan with your own cables. The Gen 3.1 is and was a great tent, you won't make a mistake if you can get a decent one at a good price in my opinion. Best suggestion I have is for you to go and see for your self how they are built and what suits you in the end. By what you need, not what you want. 😉

Hi there. We are doing a build series, so we will basically do a vehicle walkaround over a few episodes. Stay subscribed to see the whole build.
Looks good, what are your plans for weight distribution and not getting the light front feeling the double cab 79s are infamous for?
Too be honest, I think when you have a decent suspension you should be fine with that light front-end. You will see in the upcoming videos that we went with EFS suspension and it works great. We will also install a winch in the front, surely that should help to balance things out.
@@DustandDieselOverlanding possibly, I have Iron Man foam cell shocks, updated springs, winch, steel bullbar front and back, spare tire on rear, 4” lift and 35s. Also a RSI. I am scared to put more on as it already borderline sketchy. Thinking about changing to BP51, dropping to 2” lift and changing to 285 tires. Hoping that changes the feel of it.
