This is a seriously dope trailer.
I started my computer 8 am in the morning just to see if the game was released already thats how hyped i was and now that its finally here is super amazing the developers did such a good job on the firstgame already and now this one makes it even better thanks alot. Everything is improved so much the graphics look so good the trains are amazing im glad i pre ordered the game

Hopefully these guys make the sequel a full fledged city builder with all these features and more. Absolutely anticipating great things to come from these guys in future.
As a beta tester for this game. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have been for the past month or so.
Devs, I will give you a suggest, I think you have total potential to make a City Builder game, I personally think Transport Fever 3 could go deep on that, the game is almost perfect, industries could have a realistic scale, etc...Even if their plans are about a transport game, you 100% could invest in a City Builder game, your engine is beautiful...you know there is Cities Skylines, I dream about seeing a crossover between CS+TF, it could be epic, but who knows, you has a huge pontential, are capable of making a genre of that!!!
This is no doubt the game I have been the most excited for this year! I loved the first one, and from what I have seen in videos of this game, it takes the old one and improves it massively, without changing the things that were already great.
I'm in school though so I can't download it until I get home ;-;
I preordered the game weeks ago. On Dec. 8th my wife told me we're going on holiday on dec, 10th... I was like "uhm, yay?" Today on release date I'm sitting here, sad in the sun on Fuerteventura.

Bought the game half an hour ago and was so upset because I couldn't install it yet even though it's the 11th (I live in Australia so am used to stuff like that happening) but here I am 15 mins later and I'm very happy I refreshed my subscriptions because I need to play this game!
I started the download at 10am, played 2 hours, had a lunch break and will continue. Today is a Transport Day ;) . Urban Games did a very good job, kepp it up.

I've been enjoying watching Colonel Failure play and I'm so excited about starting myself!!! One of the few games I don't feel bad preordering :D
I am a train driver and if you are wondering why your rail networks, despite all the graphical accuracy still don't look 100% realistic, it's the shape of the tracks.
The track laying tool lays tracks in parabolic curves - real tracks are laid in circular segments (it allows for maximum speeds through the curve) and to make it realistic all you would need is to add a tool or option (i.e. hold ctrl) that switches to fixed radius circular arcs.
That tiny change would make anything you create look perfectly real.

That's a great trailer! Although, one thing in Transport Fever that I wish if they add is ability to grow bigger cities, so that large railway stations, airports and public transportation in cities does make sense.

Played the game for a couple hours and everything about it is amazing. Even the clocks in stations matches real world time. The attention to detail is insane. Although, camera control feels a bit limited. I can't zoom close enough to ground level and I can't pan the camera upward. Also, please add an option to invert camera rotation.

Hab noch nie von Transport Fever gehört... ist das sowas ähnliches wie Sim City? Hab keine Städebausimulationen mehr angefasst in dieser Art seit dieses seltsame Sim City damals rauskam ( was eine Katastrophe war und ich es nach wenigen Stunden komplett aufgegeben habe).
Die Anno Spiele sind zwar sowas ähnliches, aber Sim City war doch auf nem anderen Niveau ^^
Werde erstmal ein großen Bogen drum machen. Mir wurde die Vorfreude genommen, da man ja seit Wochen Let's Plays schauen konnte.
Wünsche dennoch allen anderen viel Spaß und Erfolg.
Maybe now the next goal is transport fever on the phone?

Wenn ihr ernsthaft nur eine Bahnhof-Variante programmiert habt, dann habt ihr zu 100% an eurem Zielpublikum vorbei gewirtschaftet - Modularität hin oder her.
Die Bilder erzeugen daher einen bitteren Nachgeschmack und erinnern mich stark an die ersten Bilder des damaligen SimCity-Konkurrenten "Cities XXL" wo jede einzelne grosse Brücke genau aussah wie die Goldengate-Bridge in San Francisco! 🤦 Dieser ersten Eindruck bestätigte sich leider später und war für mich als Realitäts-Liebhaber das absolute NO-GO!
In die gleiche Sparte gehört für mich bei TF2 die (noch?) sehr marginale Vielfalt an Transportmöglichkeiten (habe ich den Titel falsch interpretiert?)!
Wenn ihr Entwickler einfach die Hälfte der (sehr wichtigen) Arbeiten an die Modder abdelegieren und uns Spieler damit nochmals ein halbes Jahr oder mehr Wartezeit aufbrummen wollt, um dann endlich auch sinnvoll UND schön bauen zu können, würde ich das als sehr waghalsigen wirtschaftlichen Schachzug interpretieren, bei dem der Schuss gut nach hinten losgehen könnte. Aber da es halt einfach keine nennenswerte Alternative mit ansehnlicher Grafik gibt, könnt ihr euch einen solchen Minimalismus wohl allerdings "leisten".
Rockstar should just buy the rights to this and use it for transportation in GTA6

Does this game utilize Directx12? 12 is much more CPU efficient as Directx11 only utilizes only one of your CPU cores. Cause I can spot the obvious lag in this trailer.
Never got to see much late-game TF due to under-powered PC, but I bought it anyway because it's got trains in it! Least I get to play the small maps while saving up for a more powerful PC 😀
