I just bought one. So far very happy with it. Got a quick hover and front yard buzz around. Flying is tough still below freezing in our area but once warm weather hits....yeee haaaww! Cant wait. Great quad.
You're making that quad look good! I like the way the Vampire mounts the dji antenna better. Actually I would really like that mount for my current quads.

Earlier today, I watched your Taycan review. I was positioned to purchase it as a backup to my BumbleBee. Now you've talked me into Mr. Croc. Definitely going to get this one, but I didn't see GPS as an included item on website - did I miss something? After I purchase this one, I'll continue to watch for other great models - BUT I'm definitely going to therapy as well. You're like a drug.

@@dronecamps it's all good, Ive calmed down now 🤣🤣. It was a bit odd hey, I'd been up to top & down again a few times already. Was half way back down & decided to slowly push throttle up all the way to 100%. As I lent the quad over & just as I hit 100% it death rolled for some reason. Found it the next day after the 2nd search attempt & quad work fine? I've flown a bunch over last 1 month Ive had it & lots of quick full throttle movements but I've never tried a slow ramp of throttle before due to area I fly. Have you had any issues before with a quad like that? Can you over load the CPU on FC like that?

I fly with this frame, the non DJI setup, and I have had to replace the top plate twice, from not so hard crashes. I love the design of the frame. a ton of room in it, but there is a ridiculously low about of carbon fiber around the front front standoffs. The added TPU in the DJI variant will probably help a bit, but beware!

@@dronecamps Yeah, it's a bad habit :P Seriously, one incident was just a "not perfect" but not horrific landing in grass. I was shocked to the point that I figured the frame had had a flaw in it. The second top plate broke in the same spot. I intend to send pics to Flywoo. A simple mod to the cutting of the carbon would help significantly. That said, I really think the TPU that the DJI variant uses would significantly mitigate the issue.
Send them an email and send a photo. They will consider that in the V2 version. Will help us out bro

Video without vibes is critical to the tune of the quadcopter/blades/flight controller used.
croc 5 vs vampire 2, vs iflight dc5, vs geprc mark4..??
the top and bottom plates have so many holes that the front camera mounts are barely supported, mine broke in 2 impacts, nothing else was broken and the camera is well protected but the parts that hold it broke easily. This model is long and easy to build and fly's well JUST DON'T CRASH !!!

Thanks for this video and the many more you had. Just ordered mine from Flywoo. After replaying this video. Just made me think about your concern on the location of the DJI AU antenna. Can you do a good test on the difference if you don’t bend it over bending it? I have the dji goggles and radio. Why did Flywoo decided to put the antenna in the middle rather at the back? If Drone Camps RC has a picture of a trophy or an award in the thumbnail that means that it's just an average quad. No picture of trophy means it's horrible. Quad of the Year means that it's Quad of the Week.

You mentioned on your review of the vampire that it had a setting for newbies. Does this one as well? Or do you have to fly it in ACRO? And yes, I am a newbie. Just flying some cheapos right now learning how to do the do it. This is my goal. This one sounds appealing to me because I want the amazing video quality and I want duration. I would definitely want a cruiser.

I received the 3k mah batteries today and took them out flying. I was thinking that I'd have more flight times but it doesn't seem to be the case. Just cruising...no punch outs...I get a bit between 4-5 minutes. With my 1550's I get that and even better. What gives? Is it because the 3k mah weight so much more?

I have a teranis qx7 a crossfire module.
Green lights on quad, signal on controller, Tbs agent rx tx updated to same firmware.
Looked at all of the beta flight videos.
On phone app I get red letters,
Msp 16
Invalid reciever signal.
Ports are how you done them,
I have been pulling my hair out for days!!!
Would you have an idea what to do plz?

Did you fly in true x or deadcat? I set my arms up like a deadcat on my analog mrcroc 5".I'm curious to see if it gives better freestyle performance once it is in true x setup.

@@dronecamps Flying this beast I've noticed that the 'sticks', compared to my other quads, are very very sensitive...I would say "twitchy"...to touch/movement. How can I dampened down this effect so the stick movements are smoother and less sensitive? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I'm not getting anything from the gps on my mr croc. Have you noticed any issues with yours? What settings do you have yours set to?

Good question. No. Other companies are trying but seriously to be failing on quality control.
Based off this older review I went ahead and picked up the 6" version on a wicked sale. For the life of me I can not get the BF osd to work in the dji goggles. Custom osd is on and uart 5 msp is on so I don`t get it. Also Telemetry and osd are on in BF. I can`t figure it out and I am having no luck with google at this point. Can anybody point me in the right direction for support on these quads? Just like in this video the manual I received shows 6 ports yet there are 7 ports in BF? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Looks like the arms were put on the wrong side on one of the quads. Or they're supposed to point differently I dunno.
Check the Banggood link, there are 4 ways for installing the arms for different configurations.
