Unfortunately half of these bike are juste not in production, Verge, Lightning, Damon, Arc Vector, are just protypes (if not scam for some of them). Please stop compare them to bike we can really ride on like LiveWire, Zero or Energica.

Your definition of long range is way lower than mine. I am glad they are getting higher numbers than the early models. With these ranges and the current charging structure even if they could use Tesla SuperChargers, there are so many places they cannot go.

I’m wondering why the channel here features a 2021 Lightning Strike in this “10 Longest Range Electric Motorcycles in 2023” video. Also, wondering why Brandon Nozaki Miller gets a name credit on the Lightning Strike feature section, since he has nothing to do with Lightning Motorcycles.

I could see myself making payments on an SR/F (14.4), Verge, Livewire Del Mar ($16k USD), or an Energica. I'll know how much range I need once I upgrade from my 40ah (72v 4kwh) battery to possibly a 40+50ah set up.

I believe you said long distance riding !!!! I ride twice the range of these bikes you have here in the morning and then again in the afternoon. I just don’t have the 4 hour charging time providing I can find a charging station. Local in town is what these bikes are really capable of. For the prices you listed for the better ones I can buy three MT09 s with money left over.

I am a long distance touring rider. 400 to 600 mile days are normal for me. I will consider an electric motorcycle when I find one with a 300 mile range at 75 miles per hour that can carry a 200 pound rider plus 50 pounds of camping gear. It has to recharge in less than 30 minuets

An EV motorcycle with these abilities would be so heavy at this point of development you could not get it off of the side stand. It would still take 4 to 6 hours to charge providing you can find a charging station.
Where I live the electricity to charge it will cost 40 percent more than gasoline. Maintenance on one of these things is much higher than the green dream bunch are trying to sell you on. Compared to modern gas motorcycles the dependability of the EV is totally unacceptable to anyone but a liberal politician. Thank Booty Gigged !!!!!!!

I suspect many of these are not actually available yet. They seem too good to be true.
What about the Big Four? Range is not the most critical factor for a motorcycle.
There are many many factors but charging infrastructure is critical for long trips.

I'm just hopeful that I've still be alive and riding when there is FINALLY a touring motorcycle that my wife will LOVE getting on the back of, have ENOUGH storage, and gets up to MINIMUM 200 miles range on one charge BEFORE I start having to worry about charging. BEFORE I start worrying about charging. BEFORE I start having to worry about charging.
Is that nuts? NO! You don't see cars having only 200 miles of range and I'm not a motorcycle riding with an IQ of 25. I KNOW when to stop and take a rest. And by the way, I want to be able to ride to where I'm getting and then plug in and having it charge up over night and then be ready to ride some more.
Notice I didn't mention anything about charging --during-- the day? Right? Because the fun of riding a motorcycle is --riding-- the motorcycle. Not the charging bit. And if you aren't smart enough to know when you stop and rest, maybe you shouldn't be the one holding onto the handlebars.
So what would ___I___ like for a motorcycle? Think of a Honda GoldWing or BWM K1600 top of the line with 200 miles of range where I'm going between 65 and 80 mph all day long non stop. Honestly, I would prefer 400 miles of range. But I know that won't happen during my life time. And BTW, I've ridden from Seattle to Springfield, MO in 4 ½ days and was well rested when I got there.
My wife was actually disappointed the destination wasn't longer. Not that we wanted to go to Florida but we were just enjoying our ride so much. You just have to have the right vehicle for the job. And the ride that we had at the time, as 1200 cc 1987 Honda Goldwing Aspencade was THE bike for that ride. And I can't wait for there to be an electric bike equivalent to that to come around. I'm talking about range, speed, handling, comfort, storage, and not just some of those but ALL of those.
When I can comfortably go from Seattle to Springfield, MO in 4 ½ days on a motorcycle, while pulling a cargo trailer with all our camping gear in it like we did on our '87 GoldWing, to me, that will be when electric motorcycles will have arrived.
PS: Think I'm an old fart because I liked our GoldWing for our long trip? Ask your significant other how happy they are after an almost 2200 mile trip in 4 ½ days and then come talk to me. And we ride back to Seattle five days later after putting another 600 miles on our GoldWing riding around the greater Springfield, MO area during that week.

range in city is not something to consider when it comes to buying a road-bike ! I am sick of all those : up-to 300 miles .... a motorbike consumes 12/15 kw/h/100 km @ 130 km/h ! so it is clear that they can do more then 150 km

I think more and more people are waking up to the absolute spin (Lying) about EVs.
Using phrases like "Could" and "Up to" and " In the city".....then TRYING to fool people by quoting KPH instead of MPH....probably the cheekiest lie was at the start of the vid, "....a range rivalling any petrol bike....!"....maybe so, but a petrol bike doesn`t take a wait of 5 hours to fill up again and with the petrol bike when you fill up you get a full tank and use near on 100% of the fuel, whereas with the EV only 60% of the claimed range is used (20%-80%)
