For less then 5000.00 bucks I can buy a nice bike and ride on. I know the government is pushing this electric crap in our face and I am about sick of it.
I myself would not want one, but that's just me, I like something that you can actually work on or takes gas, I think I would be happy with the old road king,👍Sean thanks for the message 🙏
I rode a Brammo Empulse at Gorace in Christiansburg, VA over a decade ago. A customer brought it in for tires. It was reminiscent of an SV650 or Monster. It was cute, but hands down they'll never replace the sound of a good exhaust on an ICE bike.
I want a electric bike for commuting but I can't drop 20k on a bike as a shade tree mechanic when I can rebuild a Facebook marketplace bike for under a grand
Victory better get back to proper motorcycles, because I've seen some moded Victory bikes that are incredible. Victory has a bad reputation for underpowered bikes but they could fix that. Like the honda valkyrie; the flat 6, discontinued except for the goldwing, detuned... what happened to original bikes, incredible engines, now everything either kinda sucks, baby's you to a flaw, or it's electric...
As a child i always enjoyed the electric vehicles that i owned (rc cars). Even at a young age i had charging anxiety and hated be limited by the batteries. As an adult i choose to avoid this. A five minute trip to the pump and I'm on the road again
The former Brammo factory in Talent Oregon now belongs to Cummins Battery Systems. There's probably somone still working there from when it was still Brammo, maybe with some working knowledge. I'd look into it!
Don't park that thing next to the rest of your bikes, unless you're heavily insured for fire. Can't imagine going anywhere across country on an EV. Probably OK if you live in town or city but not in the sticks.
Does that bike make "Noise Warning" like an electric car does? The other day, I was almost hit by an electric scooter in a busy supermarket parking lot. That scooter was silent!
I would have thought they'd have a storage charge feature if leaving sitting for any period of time leave it with 2/3 charge or you WILL ruin the battery
I am looking forward to electric motorcycles just as soon as the battery tech gets better. .I need at least 100 miles of range to do normal things much less play time.
A man in my local area was just killed on an electric motorcycle. Maybe it's better to have a bike that makes some noise to alert other drivers that your coming down the road.
Dyno top speed is not reality on a road. The main force that stops vehicles/motorcycles from being faster is air resistance, and obviously on a dyno you don’t have any of that.
All electric motorcycles suck. They haven't sold many of them. The range is horrible. It's ok if you live close to work. But still not something you can take riding all day.
The 6speed is why it gets 140 mpc . These idiots doing electric vehicles today seem to have forgotten this. From cars to bikes.. sorta like the gold foil for space travel through the van allen belt. Very Important.
E-Bikes OK…have one and I can pedal or add assist from the motor…I don’t want assist on my motorcycle…I want the ENGINE to do the work and take me on a ride ALL day without having to charge it 🤪. Do love the sound of the Victory E-Motorcycle though…wait…huh?!? 😝
I was at my Orange county Indian dealer and I saw one in the parking lot it had a note saying not for sale and penske. Gray and black. I have a picture of the note that was on it but this won't let me post it.
When they were a idea and coming out really wanted one but couldn't find one for the UK and I think that's we're it went wrong. As USA 2,800 miles long UK at it's longest 838 so good idea and bike just wrong place.
I am all for innovation, technology and moderation. However, the electric bikes today isn't innovation at all, it's scraps and stolen ideas from electric cars. We need innovation surrounding bikes only.

I will never understand the 'Brembo' brake thing. Really now, how do they do things dramatically differently than anything else? Drives me nuts that 'Brembos' are some sort of a plus. Why? The same physics apply to anything hydraulic. Why is that name deemed so special? Screw that. I can never buy the Brembo thing. It is nothing but marketing.
When I put a rear hand brake on my drz the bracket called for 2 brembo calipers didn’t care too much about them before I installed them but it’s night and day over the oem nissan brake caliper. Barely any pressure on either brake master (hand brake or foot brake)and it’s stopping on a dime. Brembo is just one of those companies that make all their callipers and master cylinders with quality seals and properly machined parts which seal much better than others around
@@cedhome7945 I don't understand why they're better. Is it just quality of build? Even if the quality were shabby, the same hydraulic pressure applies. If the mechanicals are fair and square, what makes those brakes superior? They are embraced by many I don't understand why.

I love that you make this electric motorcycles videos Sean but don't ever think about going all green. You might as well shave your beard and wear some make up.
No one wants to talk about it, and I for one, would not buy an electric motorcycle, or car. The battery components, are mined by child slave labor, in Africa, so that, in itself, should be a major reason to not buy an electric vehicle, at this time. Perhaps now that biden/harris are on their way out, the new administration will, at last, open American mines, and hire adults to mind the necessary components. Then, and only then, will I even consider buying anything electric. Those that advocate buying an electric vehicle, are indirectly supporting child slave labor. Would that be you?

For the Luddites. You have no viable argument against electric vehicles. Except they don't make noise. You mostly use your vehicle for commuting. Point A, to point B, and then back to point A. A electric with a gear box. Why? Simple. As you advance speed you upshift and lower engine/motor RPM. The faster a electric motor spins the more electricity it uses. The power is constant at any RPM. Unlike a gas or diesel engine that has a power curve. You have to find where that power is and run it at that RPM.
@@dorraj4685 Very easy. I have pre-unit vintage Triumphs and Harleys. Gear box is separate from engine. Engine/motor drives transmission. Transmission drives rear wheel. I rode a friends Zero bike. I will will never buy a bike that has this crap on it. Point is, they made a simple thing complicated. Putting a gear box behind a motor is very simple and easy.
