from my experience, clickbaiting and "offensive meming" has a higher chance of bringing a toxic fanbase to you gotta be careful at which audience you want to have, tbh i'd prefer have less subs but a chill community instead of infinite subs but hateful comments
I feel similarly. Replying to comments is easily my favourite part about TH-cam. I reply to nearly every comment i get on my videos. Knowing i wouldnt be able to do that if i grow large enough genuinely upsets me.
In Love With A Ghost Wait... are you that music composer? If so i LOVE your music ! They all have a chill, calming vibe to it. Seriously man keep up the good work.
TH-cam should find a better way to promote smaller channels...perhaps, by adding a new section off the main page, asking viewers to like a video of the top 100 small channels this month. By giving smaller channels a little of the spotlight, these folks can grow, and more content creators will see a better way for them to compete against much larger channels.
I think the same thing,in this times, small channels it's almos impossible to grow up,because nobody cares about them。。。and in the same time they actually don't have any efficiency way to grow up

What PewDiePie is teaching really does work, I've actually made over 100k on youtube without even creating videos. It's pretty simple actually, it comes down to using the right videos with a special license and using the right thumbnails, titles, and tags. I actually have a ton of videos teaching how to do this if anyone is interested, but yeah thanks for making the video PewDie it was great!!
Always love when you are chilling and talking to the fans. My channel took a drastic turn this year after a year of struggling I had only 484 subs by April. Now after the last 6 months I have 15k. Couple things happened since I am a small Anime youtuber and there are millions of those. I started to just be different and cover things I really enjoy which was telling short stories instead of what Big channels were doing and I started to grow with some popular videos. Also getting better at making content helps tremendously. End of the day you need to be authentic and enjoy the videos you are making.
Hi Bhai, you are Nepali and you might be interested in Gaming... I make funny videos and I'll support you too. Just make sure you watch my videos coz I'm sure they will make you laugh. Thanks bro, and btw today is my birthday :)

My way as a new small shity TH-camr: Don't care that much about subs, likes and views. Care about your content and the most important: be happy with making videos. The rest is just a consequence of that. 🎥=❤️
I thought it was particularly interesting how he explained trying new things. Most "how to" videos tell you to stay "consistent" regarding the content you put out. But I think that consistency can often become limiting after some time. New editing styles, genres, thumbnail designs, etc can spark creativity and open up new doors in ways that may lead to channel growth :) definitely keeping his advice in mind!
Thanks Pewdiepie for keeping it real addressing this topic once again. Alot of small youtubers out there like myself can say they all look to you or another channel for some sort of inspiration. Inspiration is a great thing to have. It can shape someone and their channel massively. Also you touched base with many topics but the one that mostly stood out to me mostly was standing out/having a unique feel to your channel. That's easier said than done but hey, noone said youtube was easy and those who record because they actually enjoy it won't care about how hard it is sometimes. Anyways weird long paragraph rant over. Goodluck Small channels, may the odds be forever in our favor!
Thumbnails are definitely my favorite part of You Tube, I feel like making videos for me at least is divided into three different sections that all have different ways in which you can express yourself like recording videos, editing videos, and making thumbnails. When you record you can change the inflection of your voice, read jokes, improv, or even do ASMR, then when you're done with that you can edit memes into the video or make perfectly cut screams. Then you can mess around in a photo editing program like photoshop and make a really nice thumbnail that has your personality in it, I just feel like it really puts the cherry on top to finally upload the thumbnail and then you can sit back and watch yourself. There is a fourth section that I refer to as "Regret"
I like pewdiepie when hes serious and helpful. Its entertaining when he starts screaming into his mic and being scarcastic but like when hes serious you can see the other side of him.
Is it good buddhist karma to asocciate your body with a hell worlds and violence in the video forever, considering that youtube and it's audience it is a huge karmic catalyst/accelerator. What do you think, guys? This argument keeps me away from youtube-gaming-streaming.
I have been working my ass off editing and getting content for my channel and this video really helped me prioritize what I need to do to grow my channel! Thanks so much pewds!
So happy to have found your channel. You’re an absolute inspiration and you’re so relatable and have an amazing sense of humor!! Thanks so much for being your sweet self you’re so admirable
I always found Interaction with my audience has been one of the biggest factors that has helped my channel get to where it is today. If someone has taken the time to watch, like, and comment, then so should the creator!

Steps for beginning TH-camrs 1: be consistent 2: upload 3: make funny videos 4: have good thumbnails 5: have fun 6: love what you do and dont let haters take it away from you 7: dont sub4sub 8: create a small community with other small youtubers 9: If you run out of idea's or content just make a funny video about your day so you still have a video to put on youtube I use these steps as well and I'm doing TH-cam because I love it, I love to entertain people, to make people happy (well I'm trying to, hope it works) but just do what you love.
Thank you for always being completely honest! There are a lot of people out there trying to take advantage of the small channels. They promise things that are too good to be true. It's comforting to see genuinely good and down-to-earth TH-camrs, like yourself, Jackspaghettisauce and Markafryer succeeding. You are a role model for all of us newbies even if you don't think you are!
These big TH-camrs tell us everything except the real shortcuts they take. They buy views but keep it low key. I know this as I had a faceless channel with 100k subs. TH-cams algorithm is all based off viewer retention. If you have high retention then your video will get shown to more people in suggestions. You can literally buy 100% viewer retention views on some websites.
YourFaceIsMySpiritAnimal A lot of people say i have great content and that i deserve more. I think it is just about the recognision and people not giving small channels any chancr

I've never subbed to you even though I've watched many of your videos. I did now. Thank you for not withholding your experiences of growing a youtube channel only for yourself.
Dear Felix, Even though you're tired of trying and not keen on growing your TH-cam channel anymore, remember that we bros are here for you. You deserve to be on the top. And, I believe that this low view period will vanish as soon as you want it to. The bros want you to get the most views and subs. However, it is completely up to you. The struggles that you've been through in your life inspire me to work hard(in a completely different field). You're the best. And, even though you don't want to be on the top anymore, we bros will get you back there. You're such a good dude. Been here since 2016(beast master 64). Yours truly, A bro
I'm not even at 100 subs yet but your channel and videos keep me wanting to make videos! Thanks Felix for these tips! Keep doing what your doing *brofist*
this video helped me alot ngl i mean yeh my channel maybe small but i just loved makin videos and hanging out with the community the tip is just have fun do what you want you will eventually grow
You're an inspiration Pewds! Thanks for all you do! The TH-cam grind is real. It takes time and can be frustrating. But its important to do it cause you love it. And people will find you....eventually :)
I have a youtube channel too and sometimes i make videos that make me say: Wow i worked too hard on this one.. Your content is too good for the audience you have Chugada Cheese Gaming! Nice Work!
"You're not filling a demand". I don't know how many people haven't realized this and how many people are scratching their head for it. It's sad to see, because we already have the "pioneers" that everyone's subbed to, and watching pretty much everyday, which is the "holy trinity" of Mark, Jack and Pewds. We would all love to make content such as this, because it looks fun and not too monotonous. The thing is.. They made the content that was popular at the time, while at the same time having a good personality for it AND shooting out video(s) EVERY day. This was while having the algorithm working for them. Right now, and from here on out, gaming channels will most likely have the algorhitm working against them. Because of the whole demonitzing issue youtube has. From here on out TH-cam will promote content that brings them money, ERGO - content that doesn't get disputed because of violence / shooting / graphic (at least that's the issue I've had with most of my videos). And the people coming up front will definitely be the people that "uses" the system, like our dear Jake Paul. Family friendly content that gets promoted by a whole crew of guys challenging eachother because it's "fun" to have a audience-war. (Game theory made a video on this). But as a personal growth, and that the CHANCE IS STILL SOMEWHAT THERE. I'd say, don't stop making videos just because it isn't working out- IF YOU STILL ENJOY IT, AND IT'S NOT WEARING YOU DOWN. Can't stretch that enough. Making videos has helped me so much with so many things, and I couldn't trade that for anything in the world. When making content I'd say, do it for yourself. And if people join in on the train, then that's all the more to it. But don't get your hopes up too much. With how everything works right now, you will most likely be dissapointed. Again: DO IT FOR YOURSELF. And as for the gaming youtubers who still is reading this. If you want to grow an audience- the biggest chance you have is by making creative content with a very select few games. Maybe even 1 game. Because that brings in the same people day in and day out, and that will most likely make the people who watch you- watch the entire video; Which again boosts in terms of algorithm and search results.
Don't know where you the whining part of any of that unless you didn't read any of it, which you know- is fine. But that also means something else for you as a person. GL dude Edit: or dudette, whatever
*Super* *Helpful* *Advice* Definitely gonna try out what you suggested because it makes so much sense. You'd think it's basic stuff that people should already be doing, but don't. I think the term you were looking for is unique selling point. The idea that if there isn't something special about a product/person then consumers won't be interested. About being different and standing out in a good way. I've been getting views, but haven't been as successful in making them stay.
I love his last quote,
"Cause if you have fun, you can't lose."

I just wanted to say that i've been doing youtube for over 5 years now and i have 1300 subs and that you should never give up on your dreams!! Don't let your dreams be dreams and never give up hope!
I will probably never even be a big youtuber, but it is just fun to do and that is all that matters, isn't that right? I hope anyone could give me a chance. That would mean the world to me! I mean it. Every subscriber is like my family. If i would make it big, i would definitely repay my community somehow. I don't know how, but i will do my best!
Btw: This is my third channel. Not my first
KittenWispy A lot*
My way as a new small shity TH-camr:
Don't care that much about subs, likes and views.
Robert Jones nice geniune comment there...Subbed cause you didn't ask for it. You have a good start of a channel look forward to seeing you grow

Some really bad ass tips here Pewds. I appreciate you making these kind of videos.

Steps for beginning TH-camrs
1: be consistent
2: upload
3: make funny videos
4: have good thumbnails
5: have fun
6: love what you do and dont let haters take it away from you
7: dont sub4sub
8: create a small community with other small youtubers
9: If you run out of idea's or content just make a funny video about your day so you still have a video to put on youtube
I use these steps as well and I'm doing TH-cam because I love it, I love to entertain people, to make people happy (well I'm trying to, hope it works) but just do what you love.

You can literally buy 100% viewer retention views on some websites.
shhhh keep it on the DL. You'll get this growth hack patched. We don't want that.

Hello PewDiePie
I've never subbed to you even though I've watched many of your videos. I did now. Thank you for not withholding your experiences of growing a youtube channel only for yourself.
Everdaters exactly the same here!
Dear Felix,
Even though you're tired of trying and not keen on growing your TH-cam channel anymore, remember that we bros are here for you.

Stop whining thanks
Don't know where you the whining part of any of that unless you didn't read any of it, which you know- is fine. But that also means something else for you as a person. GL dude
Edit: or dudette, whatever
Everyone on youtube is hit by the demonetizing, you're not the only one who's having a hard time LOL
Bloofy and again it see that you clearly didn't understand what I wrote. So yeah good luck buddy
Awesome Advice 😃 Especially coming from a LEGEND!!
Thanks So Much 👍
*Super* *Helpful* *Advice*
Definitely gonna try out what you suggested because it makes so much sense.
