Great summary! What were the final HP and TQ ? How much was that package with the Supercharger and Headers? I am surprised he didn't also upgrade the exhaust
@@ParagonPerformance Thats not bad at all with insulation. I always worry about the DCT since GMs had nothing but issues with those. I cant remember but was there some upgrade for those that will handle the extra tq? Other then that the only thing I need is that smog cert. 🥲
Is it just me or is there’s quite a supercharger whine that can be heard? Not a bad thing, just curious! Great video, definitely considering doing this for mine instead of a Z06!
The supercharger whine is most noticeable in the cabin or with the decklid popped up. It absolutely screams in the driver's seat! Cameras and microphones just can't capture how great it sounds in person.
Hi, curious, Trifecta and or HP tuners, they are different companies ( I assume) . I know Trifecta does the Pro charger tunes / unlocks because I had one done by Trifecta, I have heard you guys speak about HP tuners, how do you decide which company to use ? Not sure why but I thought the Magna charger use HP tunes, could you please clarify this. Really like your videos/ content keep up the good work.
Great question! Axles are optional. However if you want their extended 3 year 36,000 warranty they are mandatory. As far as the transmission the Stingray needs no upgrades.
@@wbdharris, yea check your math, closer to 175 hp gain. I had a pro charger done and had just under 200 RWHP increase, and yes it was expensive, but we are in a whole new generation/ era, these cars are more difficult to work on , tune , etc. I guess you either accept it or don’t do it.
@joem7755 Torque is cool for getting good 0-to-60 and 60 ft times, but horsepower wins races. The base C8 can't hold a candle to the C8 Z06 in the 1/4 mile or on a road course/track, it's a mid-10 second 1/4 mile car in stock form...
@chrism.728 I understand that. Just stating z06 tq is about the same as the stingray. Add in the extra hp and much more tq from the supercharger. The low tq in the z06 has given people a pause. Sound and high revs are get but the slam backing feeling only comes with tq. That's why I'm on the e-ray list. Wish I could afford thr zr1. 😪

We use HPTuners to unlock the ECM to do the tuning. At this time Lingenfelter controls the tuning for their systems. At the end of the day, they are both very similar.
Great video, as always! We need a “Rob Claps While Speaking In Front of the Camera” counter in the corner of the video 😅
He’s just excited about the supercharger!👏
@@ParagonPerformance How could you not be? Definitely deserving of a round of applause & maybe a standing ovation! Great job, team Paragon!
Didn't Chuck Barris famously do that on "The Gong Show?"
First. I see Paragon I click I see there are some cars already there for Friday at 4.

596WHP & 550WTQ on this build, every car is different.
$24,950 - Price for the supercharger installed.
Headers we're an additional $1500
Great video! Is it just me, or do the factory rims look pretty lame?
You never told us the final horsepower or torque. Or the price of the supercharger installed with the headers.
Guessing 30+ grand for parts and installation.
$24,950 - Price includes Installation.

Worth every penny, especially considering the elite shop work.

The whine is there just not audible with these microphones

Is there any upgrading needed to do to the transmission or axles with that supercharger upgrade?
Great question! Axles are optional. However if you want their extended 3 year 36,000 warranty they are mandatory.
As far as the transmission the Stingray needs no upgrades.
Why did you remove the rockers
The vehicle came to us without any rockers extensions.
How much power???!!! Not mentioned.
SC whine the same as the procharger or louder?
Maybe a little louder! Different type of sound so it's hard to compare but it's pleasant to listen to.
So with the super charger, what’s the hp?
596whp and 550wtq on this customers car!
How much is the package…installed out the door.

@@wbdharris This is WHP. This stock Dyno'd around the 433 mark to the wheels. So this car gains 160ishHP. :)

Just wish it was more affordable like the c7 supercharger!!
This is a whole different platform and design. Not as simple as the C7.
I was expecting more HP/TQ for the money. 600 RWHP is decent, but 700+ RWHP would be better considering an N/A C8 Z06 makes around 600 RWHP.
True but look at the tq.. the STOCK stingray has it beat.. very different animal
