Der Phaeton ist das beste Auto was ich bis jetzt gefahren bin. Es ist jeden Tag eine Freude einzusteigen und los zu fahren... Es ist eigentlich ein Bentley
@@monsterkillsports3499I wouldn't say rare.. they pop up here and there from time to time.. now my Kadett GSi cabrio Bertone.. thats something I havent seen a single time on the road since 2009 other than my own .. that's rare..
Is it? I saw one @ a local car dealer but I never owned one. The ride is in mint conditions 6.2 W12 for like 10k ... it seems to be unreal almost. Is that possible? or just is a car with no market. I am considering it
@@luthier78Maintence costs are very high, it's a very mechanically complex vehicle and drivetrain, which reflects the low resale value. But, it provides an amazing driving experience. It's worth understanding that these cars are now available to the average person. They were designed to be the best of the best out of VW Group, so they aren't cheap at all to repair and maintain, but give you a driving experience like no other.
Ferdinand Piëch's technical tour de force, itself a commercial failure, but perhaps the most technically developed car of it's time. The basis for 90% of modern Bentleys and the engine basic architecture was re engineered for the Veyron. A piece of automotive history.
This vehicle has been well taken care of. Very surprised to see the interior looking so good even before the detailing. The wood veneers are prone to cracking, as a bunch of them in my '04 V10 Touareg have done. Love seeing a piece of obscure automobile history kept alive and shined up so well. I wish I didn't have to contend with Ontario road salt so I could see my own vehicles brought back to life this nicely.
Beautiful car 👍👍👍 Was a very expensive car of its time, especially for a VW. Was one of the reason not many were sold. Add on the high price tag for maintenance and repairs, one needed a hearty bank account to fund them as most of the original owners had. As always, the work you guys do is top notch 👍✔️🙌 Be Safe and Be Blessed 🙏🙏
Thanks so much! Yeah, these were quite interesting for VW to embark upon, and learn a lot about brand identity and perceived value / luxury with a VW label on front rather than 4 rings or a big B Thanks for sharing and being a part of our community!
The owner of this car must be a true fan. All other videos about Phaetons tell us to avoid them because as any other 10+ years old luxury cars they are money sinks.
I wanted to get one of these as they're probably the best value in the market until you realize 5 ECUs are controlling this thing and parts are impossible to find/need to be pulled off Bentley Flying Spurs. Future collectible though along with V10 Touaregs
That's permanent wear and cannot be cleaned. It's a soft touch paint coating which wears down over time. The only way to fix it is to repaint it or replace the switch.
One of the greatest, and most under appreciated cars ever made.

But in 5 years or so will show up in value..coz is really rare and unique for a brand as Volkswage ,then is even a W12

Great Job. I think the Pheaton W 12 from VW belongs to the best Volkswagen ever built - Greetings from Germany

That is a gorgeous car but your work is mesmerizing! Love it!
We appreciate hearing that! Stoked to make videos you guys like
VW knocked it out of the Park with the Phaeton. And so did you guys 👍🏼
Phantastic detail! 👊🏻😎🔨 The paint is gleaming.

Must have only a couple if not single owner. Usually cars this old have seen at least 5 owners and no love.

The VW A8-equivalent...heard you can pick them up (relatively) for cheap. You guys and black cars; the best. 🏁🏁🏁
Theyre always a pain but always worth it! Thanks Peter! And yes, the rumors are true… you most certainly can if you can find one!
Beautiful car and great job!!!
That’s a solid car. Great job and amazing results ❤
You guys did an amazing job on the car! 🙏🙏🙏

Simplesmente IN-CRÍ-VEL!!!!!!! 😮👏👏👏👏👏
Truly a great car. Volkswagen went all in .I don't think they let the accountants ruin the car.
Wow awesome video thanks a lot 😊
Wow man. You always surprise me. I wish i can get in your level one day.
What polish or compound did you use on that black paint? Looks amazing
We’re using sonax and kochchemie

Where can I find your website? I have some vehicles you may like to detail. Does a ‘79 Subaru BRAT interest you?

WOW!!!! Simply Superb!💯
Great work on the uber expensive and big .... Jetta.
🤣🤦♂️
Where was this detailing done and how much did it cost?
9:16 What interior cleaning brush is that? Colourlock?
Amazing job! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🖤
Perfection!
Amazing job!! I’ve always wanted one of these, build quality is off the charts….
What hand brushes do you use in the interior?
Colourlock / swissvax (theyre the same, swissvax is more expensive, but theyre the exact same brush) 🤫
Fantastic work. I’m sure that detail cost more than the car itself.
Stunning👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Were is this car from? No surface Rost on the aluminium doors, no defective paint on the rear mirror stand... interesting!

Piech was a visionary, thats for sure
Drove a W12 on a 24 hour test drive when they were new. Amazing car but the world wasn't ready for a $100G VW.
Huge improvement. But that glove box latch/button shines miles away in a bad way 😄
Sick car.
Ok thanks

Headlights look dull
The silver paint in the headlight might be faided. I think the actual headlight lense might be made of glas on this car
