Time for Tea with Sam, a Respiratory and Sleep Science STP

Hi everyone! I caught up with Sam, a Respiratory and Sleep Sciences trainee based in Birmingham. It was so nice to speak with him as he’s the first trainee in a patient facing role that I’ve chatted with, he makes it clear how important communication skills are! It was interesting to hear how his specialism directly links up with others like histopathology to help in diagnosis and treatment. He gave some good insight into the different routes into respiratory physiology, it’s always good to find out about and weigh up your options!
