amazing footage thank very much on what you do. When you are hoisting up do you have a computer slowdown automatic as you are coming up because my machine did thanks. Never had the picking up of two 20 footers machines not set up for that, Liked watching you lowering down container for groundsmen to take out the corner locks. You have to have very good eye site to be able to operate that high! I know you have things to help you but the eyes are so important.. back then My eyes were so good I could see everything. The worst time to have to operate when it was raining just awful to see what you were doing. The very worst time to operate was at night if it was raining now you are double the problem. I am sure you have been there and done that thank for your videos.
+canvids1 That is the most difficult part yes, to stop the right moment while hoisting at max speed. There is no function on this crane to stop automaticly on twistlock height. Yes rain snow and darkness maked it a lot more difficult!
hi nice bit of driving, i drive a similar crane on a recycling plant, i am trying a kill the swing on the rotating spreader and long travel at the same time to speed things up at the moment. even though it has auto swing on it , can be difficult because the auto swing over compensates for small adjustments so i have to take it off to get the long travel swing out. the only other option is to slow down the procedure. Thanks for a great video.
+deane9050 Thanks for your great comment! Working in 90 degree position is not as easy as it looks, I totally agree! To move the gantry to a container we need to move 1.000 ton of Steel. That is the hardest part for me in conbination with the trolly movement Yes. I try to keep one of the 2 moves steady with the joystick so I can focus on the other swing. Thanks for watching! I hope you also enjoy my other videos ;)
the company are trying to get the drivers to pick up container off railway travel to tilter machine with tight clearances and land and empty container in 4 minutes without damage to crane or tilter machine!! difficult for a new / experienced drivers of any standard. Keep up the good work
interesting twin question... you mention twin lasers can detect twin pockets, if each 20 is exactly across from the other but there is space between, will spreader grow to find those pockets
@@Container_World i will be very grateful if you can help me i am new in the field i really have no documentations if you can contact the sir i will be very grateful to you
Checking for damages and wear. The containers needs to be approved for stacking later in the terminals handling. So if not the containers are "fit for stacking", they get placed elsewhere. And besides of that, he checks for the container IDs. But yeah... he's got a deathwish!
+Tho Pe Met ''twist-locks'' Tho Pe.
+NICKTHEGAMER_ yes it was first like you thought it would be. It is very hard to control the swing that way so the engineers changed it. Rotate your computermouse 90° and try to control without thinking to hard.. ;)
HA die vorklift! Ik had het niet eens gezien haha! Bedankt!
I used to think that containers were handled fairly carefully. After all, they are 30 ton boxes, so can't just toss them about. But watching these videos makes me think otherwise... (It could be done worse, but when the whole cabin shakes about on impact it is a bit rough....)
Awesome. Added to my slowtv collection
+TheRealYnCA WoW Thanks RealYnCa!

Yes it slows down automaticly when you hoist to the max or lower containers on the ground. Thanks for watching.

yes, this crane looks nicer
I like the look of the spreader
+NICKTHEGAMER_ it is not so shiny anymore as these videos lol
Echt de max jong, uw Filmkes 👍😉
Bedankt! Ik steek er elke keer veel tijd in. Deze video was ook weer 4uren werk maar ik zie het als een hobby!
Hey I'm LIEBHERR LHM Mobile Harbour Crane operator if I try to learn STS cranes can I get any difficulties.
We handle only containers 🎁
Liebherr cranes are the best! STS cranes are totally different but also very challenging! They are perfect for containers. What port do you work?
Kolkata Port in India.
By the way can I contact you on social media? If yes than pintukr.ray is my facebook I'd.
Yeah sure! Find my facebook Page: ''Gantry Cranes"

Nice video! Thanks! What editor did you use to edit these 2 videos? Is it like PiP or сhroma key? How did you do it?
+Stanislav Ivankov I used Sony Vegas pro for this video with a PiP. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
interesting twin question...
you mention twin lasers can detect twin pockets, if each 20 is exactly across from the other but there is space between, will spreader grow to find those pockets
+NICKTHEGAMER_ No it won't, is is just a safety detection to prevent locking a twin in 40" mode.
Joris Cleiren oh, it would be a nice feature if it could ;)
the longtwin is auto, but does it always give that gap for bringing twins onto the boom above the ship or do you do it yourself?
+NICKTHEGAMER_ It always goes to the last position u used
How long do you work at a time on these big cranes? It looks to take a lot of skill and stressful
+steele m If you have the skills, it takes 2 years to become a good STS crane operator. I have 5 years experience now on Big harbour cranes.
good evening can you help me on the maintenance manual and how to maintain the RTG please
Sure! What brand is your RTG? What country and port?
@@Container_World La RTG est de marque konecranes e And I'm from Algeria if you can help me with some maintenance documents I'm new to the field
Does'nt the port manager have any documents? I know a konecrane dealership in Belgium. I might ben able to help

Good technology. You know, the left and right are always harder to grasp than the front and back
Why does the ground man keep walking under the boxes. Death wish?

Is there anyone who has price catalog for 65 tons ship-to-ship crane? Please help me find it

+NICKTHEGAMER_ No it is a Terex, like the ''Reach stacker compilation'' on IMT.
makes sense, look at the design lol, what about the red one too, terex?
