I put 12000 miles on a 2011 cb1300. Brilliant bike. Did 3500 miles around Spain on it. Very comfortable. Low seat so perfectly flat footed. Around 54 mpg. Bags of torque. Long story but eventually a car pulled out on me and it was a write off! I now have a 2017 cbf1000 which I also love.
I took my new to me GS out for its maiden voyage yesterday and did just short of 200 miles up from Chorley to Hawes and across to the lakes, down to Arnside {used to fish there) and back home. it was awesome AND as a bonus I can still walk today. The old Bandit, rest in pieces, and the zx9 used to batter me a bit and I'd need a few days to recover, especially on the zx. Ace to see you have it all sorted. I can't believe there is no under seat storage on the GS either, even the zx has enough for waterproofs and a can of pop.
Dear friend, I’m sorry I cannot say you in English all my enthousiasm for this bike. It is the bike I dream for years. In 2011 I see the last one new in my dealer in Milan . It was sold out... Enjoyable ride out vid buddy. I ventured out today (Saturday) on my VN900, its 1st venture since its mot a couple of weeks ago and it’s 1st proper outing sine the beginning of lockdown last year. I also kept leaving the indicators on something that I never do so it made me smile when you did the same 😁

Hi Shaun u mentioned u wanted a tank bag. I have one here only used once as I could not get to grips with it. If u want it let me know, we r only in Wrexham. Free if u want it.
I hate getting wet so much that I always wear waterproof textiles, then I can relax and ignore the weather. I wouldn’t be worrying about greasy roads after the 2 weeks of rainy weather we have had. What tyres are on big H? I feel very confident on Road 5s these days. Anyway it’s a beautiful bike for sure, I love Honda bikes.

Funny listening to your comments on this as just bought a gsx 1400 7k mls and the amount of loose nuts and bolts is scary, even had an oil leak the first week where they didnt tighten the oil filter properly so ride around with a carrier bag of tools now lol nice bike
Beautiful bike looks great only 5 gears 🤔 what’s happened to us all 6 gears quick shifters cornering abs we have been reminded that simple is just as enjoyable 👍
I've had mine for 12 years....2008 1300s. Agree re 6th gear....always feels needs another gear on motorway. Having said that 90 mph touring is no problem. My vfr1200f is opposite...often feels like have another gear left.

I like your new addition to the stall, think i'm a little jeaious of you now. CBs are renownd for their smoothness. Good video... again ! Thanks.
Tbf 5 gears isn't really a problem I used to have a thunderace with 5 gears which once got used to it seemed natural its just the habit of looking for 6th
