  • Ingredients-
    For Roasting Dal:
    1 Cup Toor Dal
    1 Cup Moong Dal
    1/4 Cup Masoor Dal (Red Lentil Dal)
    1/2 Tbsp Ginger Powder
    Method:
    -Roast the dal and then cool it down. Now finely grind it.
    -Add ginger powder to it and mix well
    For Tadka:
    2 Tbsp Oil/Ghee
    1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
    2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
    4 to 5 Dry Red Chillies
    8 to 10 Curry Leaves
    1/4 Tsp Hing
    3 Pcs Bayleaf
    2 Tsp Kasuri Methi
    4 pcs Chillies (Finely Chopped & Dry)
    Prepared Dal Powder
    1/2 Tbsp White Chilli Powder
    1 Tsp Turmeric
    1 1/2 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
    2 Tbsp Cumin Coriander Powder
    1 Tsp Garam Masala
    2 Tsp Dry Mango Powder
    3 Tsp Salt
    1 Tbsp Onion Powder
    1/2 Tbsp Tomato Powder
    Method:
    -Take a pan and heat some oil/ghee in it.
    -Now add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chillies, curry leaves, hing to it.
    -After that add all other ingredients and prepared dal powder to it.
    -Now roast the premix with all these ingredients.
    -After it cools down, pack it as shown.
    For Dal Preparation:
    -In a bowl, add a cup of dal with 2 cups of water and mix well
    -Now, pour it in a pan and add water if required and set consistency as shown
    -Take it out in serving vessel after bringing it to boil
    -Temper it with ghee and red chilli powder (optional).
    -Serve hot with steamed rice.
