So just checking since this still confuses me a little bit. Do you always place Dogs = to the number of players + auto walkers? I feel like that needs to be clarified in the rulebook, I know it's not a final version OF the rulebook but it reads as if the auto walkers (1 in 2 player and 3 in solo) don't count as players. Other than that I'm excited to give the game a go.
Thanks so much for your question. Yes, you always place dogs in the field equal the number of walkers (so 3 for solo, two, and three player games). We'll make sure this is super clear in the final rulebook.
Yes, pleasure to listen to you both. Looks good. Any chance the score track can be made longer? You almost doubled around. Would like to see the game go another round or 2. It was over too quick.
Thanks so much, Stephen! The reason we went around the score track twice is because we didn't have the scorepad with us. However, that's now been unlocked in the stretch goals so players can use the scorepad to tot up their scores rather than having to keep track on the board. 😊
Just got a copy... Gotta say very underwhelming. It plays too fast and the walk is too short. Unless we didn't understand the rules. I heard about an expansion maybe it will fix this issue because the game is gorgeous, so many dog cards but you would never go through all the cards with the current gameplay
