Mason Ho Surfs One Of Andy Irons Untouched Surfboards

In Episode 1 of The Pick Up '23, presented by Vans, Eric invites Dylan Graves to ride a board from the last batch he’d ever shaped for Andy Irons. The segment commences with goosebumps, and concludes with smiles - and we get to see the 5’8” take a lot of hot laps at the Ehukai beach park in between.

Wow hit a soft spot.
Andy gave me his whole board bag with 5 boards in it in the mentawais years ago.
It was after the filming of fly in the champagne. He didn't want to carry them home.
Blew my mind what a sweetheart legend.
I was born and raised on Kauai too and he still is my favorite surfer of all time hands down!!!🙏

I scored an Eric Arakawa board in 1994 at a yard sale, a thick 7'8" sunset beach shape in pristine condition, light blue with yellow rails. Had magic days riding that board out at Sunset, Laniakea, and Devil's Rock on Moke's side, and paddling out to the whales over there. Strong board, never broke.
