Jeremy Clarkson giving a Q&A after a private screening of The Grand Tour: One For The Road

- Jeremy was kind enough to allow a Q&A after watching the final ever episode of The Grand Tour: One For The Road. This event was held at his new pub in Oxfordshire called The Farmer's Dog Pub near Burford. Guests paid £80 a ticket, and there were only 250 available.
U can see tears running down his face... :(
When it came to this type of thing he was emotional. Deep down he's a good guy with a big heart and that seriously shows in his new venture with diddly. Its a wonderful show to watch showing who he is now. I'm sure you already know that lol
Happy tears, as mine.
I think that’s gin 😂
You absolute legend for videoing this
This!
@uns0cialmedia And you set up a whole new TH-cam account for this? (On an unrelated note … there's also a new Jeremy Clarkson account on Apple Music, and it doesn't necessarily seem to be hosting a playlist from someone who can't be JC) I'd love for there to be "guerrilla" style clips appearing mysteriously & uncredited in the next few years, from JC or the gang, just 90 seconds that seem to be crudely-clipped deleted scenes from previous series, but unprovably are new content, about cars or any Top Gear style content
I'm going to post a comment on this video if/when we make it to England (as I want to visit the 2 pubs opened by May and Clarkson) and I guess see London as well (less enthusiastic about that) to buy you a pint, sir.
From a colonial, thank you!
Filming vertical???? A legend??

I'm a 52 year old man and I cried my eyes out at the end and I'm not embarrassed to say it because top gear and the grand Tour was and will always be the best part of my life the world is a poorer place without Clarkson, Hammond and may in it.
They aint dead.
If a TV show is the best part of your life then I feel sad for you.
Don’t be embarrassed about crying about other things. It’s about time us blokes accepted that it’s completely normal. Happy isn’t the only valid emotion.
@@downwarddonkWell said.
I cry every month when my wife’s credit card statement arrives……
I am 30 years old and Jermey Clarkson has been doing car shows for 25 years. Can't even imagine a life without him talking about cars. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering because of these 3 people. What an inspiration...Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and soul.
P.S I was born and bought up in a little town in the lower Himalayas.. These 3 took me all over the world...
longer than that, its been 36 years, he was a main presenter on the original Top Gear from 1988 - 1998
Watch all the episodes again and Jeremy is filming another season of Clarkson's Farm with Kaleb. While it's not the same as Top Gear/The Grand Tour it's close enough, especially as it's the exact same production team.
Hahah we're the same person. I'm 27 and had these guys doing car shows my whole life, and then ended up becoming a mechanical engineer in part becuase of it.
I grew up in a pretty average town in Romania. I now have a degree in Automotive Engineering and can speak pretty good english because of Top Gear. I used to watch it on Discovery when I was 9 (because BBC wasn't available in Romania). One of my life goals is to meet one of these three people at some point and thank them for what they did to me.
God speed my friend
Brothers in Arms was a real tear jerker at the end of the tour
Man that song hit like a truck
Have a liten to a version by Gregorian, its a masterpiece
Had me in bits 😢
Never has a 'Car Show' ever had such venerable reception of teary eyed smiles.
i commend the last guy for saying what we all would say if we had only one chance: thank you. from the trio to willman and the crew, what a journey they took us on these last 22 years
To the person who recorded this and uploaded it, thank you very, very much.
100% 👍
These three guys have been a massive part of my life. I still watch the reapeats.
Got no choice now have you ?
If it wasn't for Clarkson I never would have known how much of a joy and passion I could get from an Alfa Romeo Giulia. It was by far my favorite car.
I think my favorite Alfa has to be the Brera. Not sure why I like it so much. Maybe because it's a starter car in NFS:C.
They absolutely smashed it for and ending, so long chaps 🫡
Goddamn this got me good.. 😭 So. long..
Jeremy Clarkson is actually a genius at producing good television. I hope he helps Amazon cast the next trio if that’s even possible
He said it best, hire 3 nobodies that know cars. If you hire a celebrity, it'll just look bad, especially for internet celebrities, who don't really mix well with normal television.
@@bombardier6033 Exactly. Fresh, innocent faces. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone famous who could do the job.
@@benn87Yeah celebrities come with their own persona and their own career stereotypes, which won't mix well with this.
But still this can't be done too soon. People will compare and not be appreciative of genuinely good work.
@@bombardier6033there are 2 Canadian dudes that used to be on a car channel who are/were fantastic
this is the closest thing to how imagine Bilbo giving his last birthday speech in the shire. god bless Clarkson as he joins the pantheon of great British heroes. love from Aus!
Hahah
For someone who made a career of presenting a caricature of himself as an insensitive oaf, it's always been patently clear how much Clarkson cares about his crew and his calling. I'm glad we all got to share in it.
I cried, I ain't gonna lie. When they found the old cars, I couldn't hold it. I've been watching these guys for so long... One thing they don't prepare you for when getting older is the loss of your cultural pleasures. Others get old, too. They retire. I still remember the first time I was introduced to Top Gear, changed my life.
"i'd just..hzejfijeiasjdfthis hawkstone vodka is very strong..."
Jeremy looked so proud hearing that, had to wipe my tears away to let out a chuckle.
I so wish I could say what is in my heart but- you just don't understand. My husband was in hospice care. We knew it was just a matter of a few weeks. Although he could not speak very well, he could say "Clarkson!" I knew he wanted to watch the guys. If I watched closely, I would see him smile and even laugh a few times. Even for a few minutes he could get his mind free, and he was with them on their adventure. I will never to be able to tell you what that meant to us but when you are loosing everything a little means everything. Like I said, you just don’t understand what you have meant to people
All the best for you and your husband. This comment brought a tear to my eye.
God bless you
Before my father went into to a memory care facility we loved watching Grand Tour together
@@davidgee5672 when you are in that situation, a little smile goes a long way
Beautiful. May you meet again.
Finally got an admission from Clarkson that they do genuinely like each other 🥹😂
We all secretly knew this 😄
@@whitelightning4031and we all secretly ignore it lol
The official word that the Alabama situation was actually real and more dangerous than what we saw on the episode of that special was insane
tbf I think it's been obvious this whole time 😆
In the immortal words of James May after Clarksons sacking. "The mans a wanker, but I love him!" 😂
These 3 played the biggest part of my life. Damn it, I'm crying again...
If they make another Grand tour without them, just rename the show with a different format while still reviewing new cars to avoid being compared with this amazing legendary trio.
Agreed, that's what Top Gear should have done really as the show had become the Clarkson, Hammond and May show by the time they left.
It seems like clarkson genuinely wants Amazon to keep it going. Idk how may and Hammond feel but I actually wouldn’t mind, especially if the original trio helps choose the next cast. It would just be nice to continue seeing high budget tv car adventures since the bbc bungled top gear so bad.

All tears shed were entirely justified, my fellow men, blokes, dudes and homies. Don't worry.
right back at ya buddy.
Dropping this guy was the BBC's biggest mistake of all time
I'm glad they did, Amazon allowed them freedom and the budget to create some amazing specials
I'm very glad to have seen this. So glad you took this video. Jeremy Clarkson is truly my hero.
A truly great man, it’s sad because there aren’t many Clarksons left it feels, he carried us whilst the world was going mad, he always spoke truth, I feel obligated to do the same even though I’ll never reach his level of greatness, I just want my children to understand how to be
You can say many things about Jeremy Clarkson, good and bad, but “he always spoke the truth” is not an accurate assessment of the man LMAO
@@jasperfk "He always spoke his mind" is probably more accurate.
36 years of watching Jeremy Clarkson.
To see this come to the end is slightly emotional.
GOD BLESS YOU JEREMY & THANKS
I’m 41 and watched Jeremy since before I can remember with my dad when I was a lad and loved all the shows was the highlight of the weekend knowing there was a top gear to watch on TV I can’t believe it’s all over will have to start from the beginning again and watch them all back now 🙌🙌
I'm glad Jezza prefers Mongolia. It felt the most honest, followed a rigid structure and the boys were clearly out of their comfort zone which made for great drama. They never bettered it.
Whilst we are all dewey-eyed and dishing out compliments, 10/10 For the camera work here! BRAVO, TRULY! 🏆

Nigel…quick question. Why are you making armour in a French forest mate? Lol
@@stevelavery4766 Good morning Steve.
I accept, I have been accused of being paranoid in the past, because my life has been shall we say ‘challenging’ but even though I do think there will unfortunately be a Civil War of some kind again in the future, I am not so paranoid that I have already
started making armour for it! 🤫⚒️🤣

I am 33 years old and have been watching the three blokes since 2002. Not that they will see this, but thank you lads. Thank you for all the countless hours of entertainment, you cheered me up when I was going through the worst of my addiction issues and recovery process and you really did save me from myself at my worst moments. Thank you, thank you, thank you and all the best to in your next adventures whatever they may be!
Thank you Jeremy, James and Richard for the all the laughs and entertainment you guys presented.
3/4 of my life these guys have been on tv talking about cars and giving us all some amazing memories and rib busting laughs. I truly hope they do like Christmas specials or something together. Will miss them immensely. Thankyou guys for giving us great entertainment over the years. Sad to see it end😢.
Thank you for attending and filming... his emotional response on his film crew said how much they really enjoyed Top Gear and Grand Tour.
The atmosphere whilst watching this is gut wrenching. Really is the end of something very special
I'm 35 years old and I've been watching these 3 guys for more than half of my life at this point, they have always been 3 guys I could turn to for a laugh no matter what hardship I've been going though at any stage in my adult and past teenage life, I'm not ashamed to say that I cried like a baby when the final credits of this episode rolled across the screen. I will deeply miss them, but will continue to watch and enjoy them for years and years to come, I wish all 3 nothing but the best in their future endeavors/retirement.
I must admit ,my misses was wiping tears of my cheeks as I was watching the last show .Top gear and the grand tour have been there for over half of my life.I will miss these 3 men. At least we have clarksons farm .
I grew up in Detroit, surrounded by car culture, but I don’t think I really understood cars, or the love of cars, until I started watching these three.
Breaks my heart to think I’ve been looking forward to a new Top Gear/Grand Tour episode for 20 years… and I won’t ever get to feel that joy again. 🥺 Thanks for all the happiness and memories 💔🥺
Feels like I suddenly got really old.
These guys made my life better - i cant imagine my life without them.
That's how much one LOVES his job. He cries when it ends. We love you Jeremy. I genuinely love you. and One day I will take a picture with you in your pub!
In the final episode, Hammond saying , "The Drinking is going well!." cracks me up
In life we have the chance to see greatness on the TV, Computer. Clarkson, Hammond and May are truly the “Three wise men” They followed their ⭐️ and brought all of us along for the adventures and laughter.
the only time we as a family sat down together to watch tv, top gear and then grand tour. Spent half the time looking at my children's face's watching the show with excitement, they're all grown up now but still have the memories of good times..thanks.
The photography on top gear & grand tour along with choice of music exceptional.

Thank you very much, for taking this video and uploading it here. Thank you very much, I am so glad I could watch it. And I love to read the comments of people that loved the show as much as I did - and still do…
Thank you for uploading. Will be amazing to look back on this in a few years
What a legend to take time out and front up for a Q&A for a charity he cares about. Is candid and funny, interacting with his audience!. On ya Jezza!..... Rip Grand Tour and Top Gear. Thanks for the laughs and entertainment over the years!. Nuff said.
Whoever out this online.... Thank you
From Australia, a very heartfelt Thankyou for posting this. ❤
If I'm bored and or down in the dumps I start looking for a great laugh on video. I almost always go on TH-cam and find a Top Gear or Grand Tour episode to watch. Every single time I laugh my ass off and my funk is gone. I truly put you up there with some of greatest comedic performances ever recorded on video. Early on I, and I suspect most others would agree, the show was never really about the cars. It was about three very unique gentleman having a genuine good time and we had the honor to witness the banter and mayhem they generated. Brilliant, bloody brilliant. Thank you so much..
Im not one for crying but watching the last one had me welling up... these guys have been with us our entire life...
Thank you for recording this.
I watched topgear from 2010 when they started showing it on BBC Mexico till the very end and then the grand tour, its really sad to wave the guys goodbye.
thank you for this,,, sort of feels like a much needed closure bit after the final episode leaving me in tears
I cried my heart out 💔 it will take me a while to able to watch this again
these dudes been on my tv for over 15 years, what a great staple of household entertainment, I will miss them dearly
Those 3 men made me love cars from the age of 7 or 8. I can't ever thank them enough. I cried like a baby at the end of the last episode. There will never be another show like it. The best
Watched One for the Road last night. Almost got teary-eyed toward the end. I'm gonna miss those guys, together.
What an absolute ledgend, best bit of english tv there is, grew up with it and i always feel home where ever i watch them. Glorious men brought me joy for years!
I loved The Clarkson Show, best guests and kitchen mortars. I could have watched this Q&A for hours. Thank you all. Peace and love
The trio have been making content exactly for the same amount of time I've been alive, It feels like a part of me as left, James, Jeremy and Hammond, If you're reading this I would like to thank you for all the hours of laughter that you guys have given the world. The moment James said "I hope we've brought you a little bit of happiness." absolutely broke me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The end of an era, of a generation, of a culture. From a pokey motoring show that gave us all so much joy
This is brilliant for posterity, but tragically painful for the heart.
Jeremy, Richard and James have such great chemistry that I think they should just start a talk show or something. If the 3 of them just met at a pub every 6 months, got hammered and shot the shit for 2 hours, they could film it and I still think it would be funny as hell. The Grand Tour may be over, but the 3 of them doing stuff together shouldn't come to an end. The world needs them!
They've done that already in Top Gear and then for some time in The Grand Tour. They kind of just wanted to end on a high note and move on to other shows and personal things.
Thanks so much for filming and posting this! Felt like I was there - nice night cap to an historic moment in TV history! Does anyone know the name of the mental health charity this benefitted? I’d like to make a donation as thanks to Jezza for hosting this and doing a Q&A.
One of my best friends introduced me to the original Top Gear with the trio from the very beginning many years ago, we both grew up watching and loving the show and the chemistry. My friend past away in July of 2018. I have continued to watch with sometimes a heavy heart wondering what my friend would have said or how he would have reacted to an episode he never got the chance to watch.
I had to watch the final episode of the Grand Tour in three sittings, my heart strings were pulled to the max for two reasons obviously however in the end I know my friend would have been as moved as I was. What the trio has done over the years has impacted the lives of millions for the better and I'm so thankful to live in a time where I was taken along for such a historic journey.
To Jeremy, James, Richard and the entire crew.
Thank You.
This trio is, and will always be truely special. Without them top gear is just another souless car show.
The only TV I watch is TG and TGT. Literally its what I watch over and over. The magic and humor and lack of tact. So much fun and we will have them for years to come on repeat. Best wishes blokes.
Just thank you so much Jeremey,Richard,James and the team. You have always been around through break ups, make ups, births ,deaths and marriages. Wonderful times 😂❤️👍
There’s been so few people in history who have entertained and enlightened so many for so long and I doubt there’ll be many more like the three Amigos. It should be Sir Jeremy , Sir Richard and Sir James.
Thank you for sharing. This is special to so many people.
Thanks for recording it! Jezza has some charisma!
I love the fact that Jeremy is always Jeremy, It does not matter if it’s GT, Top Gear, Clarkson Farm or some random guy filming him out in the countryside, he is always himself.
What an end of an era. Clarkson and Co have been apart of my life for the last 20 years. I’m going to miss these guys together and I’m going to miss their tomfoolery
Top Gear and The Grand tour have shown me some of the most beautifulist places on earth without leaving my living room. and a laugh to go with it. they will be missed.
Couldn't have asked for a better way to end off the saga. I'd first found the show in around early 2007 when I was four years old and the whole thing absolutely thrust me into a lifetime of passion for anything revolving around cars and their history. I didn't really have many in the family who held such a passion so in a way I credit these guys to a point for raising that side of me through my life to now. It's a damn weird feeling watching it end but it ended the best way that it could've, on their own terms, in their own way, and on their own time. Thanks tons to a hell of a 22 year span of programming and automotive shenanigans.
I hope you have watched the pre 2007 shows, they are some of the funniest.
he is very good with the general public, down to earth
first time i watched the last bit i cried when they seperated i balled
I discovered Too Gear 20 years ago by accident. Clarkson was test driving a Mazda RX8.
I've watched every episode ever since. And every special, too.
20 years of Top Gear and Grand Tour, 17 years of Specials. 20 years of talking about the latest trip, episode of stunt with friends, work colleagues and customers. 20 years is just under half my life!
And I drive a RX8...
Thank you for filming
I hope Jeremy looks after himself better, i want these guys to be around for many, many years to come. Thank you for the upload, from a teary 62yo bloke.
Fabulous thankyou for showing this and the ending brothers in arms and my sweet lord I’m going to miss you Grand tour .👏👏👏
A big part of my life since 2014 and a hard good bye ! Will be watching on !!!
I just hope those 3 remain in constant contact and see each other often. As a person who has friends since birth that dynamic they hold is brother hood and love and in this world the older you get the more you value those relationships and try to cherish them because it's rare.
I'd absolutely agree that Mongolia is up there as one of the best specials. Beautiful countryside, lovely concept and just very well paced.
Vale John.
SunnyV2 and youtubers like him will very much enjoy using this footage. Thank you for filming the last bits of car history.
from the inception of Top gear being broadcast in the US on PBS, to the Final GT have watched and laughed and shouted and worried and cried at the end, will seriously miss those three.
I really appreciate you videoing this Q&A. I live in America, but grew up in Oxfordshire. Top Gear was one of the best shows when I was growing up. And I’m going to miss this trio a lot.
I know this will sound a bit dramatic, but I said to the wife after watching the last show and wiping tears from my face that I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a spike in suicide rates in middle aged, single men following the last episode.
I hope not, but it seriously got to me. It’s the end of something that meant so much to so many of us, especially in a world that seems ever more depressing and bleak.
Thanks, the three of you and the team for the joy you brought us all over the years.
