Thanks for this lovely video tour of Record Sha. Nice to see a Garrard 401 propped on the counter. I wonder were they selling it? I've just ordered another record from Dubstore UK. They're a great way to access Japanese vinyl (from abroad) without paying high shipping fees.
I didn't notice a price tag on that Garrard 401. I don't come across them that often. Denon, Micro Seki, Victor, Yamaha and Luxman are what I see the most in the second hand offers. Dubstore/Record City have done an amazing job with their overseas selling operations. They have expats on staff; that I know. They are way ahead of the others. Disk Union won't do it and I don't know why. Same with Tower and HMV. I know Face Records has satellite stores in the US. I get to Face soon. Thank you very much for your comment. The video was shot weeks ago and it was my first prototype for the videos I am posting now and going forward. I may add more voice in the future. Not sure. Focused on better sound capture at the moment. Long winded response. Sorry! Cheers.
Finally got around to watching one of your videos and so glad I did. This shop is mazing and you could spend DAYS in there looking through everything. I went to a pretty big place in Vancouver which was great but unfortunately the owner was a complete dick. Ended up waling out because of it. This place looks miles better though. Hope you got some cool stuff.
What a cool place…3Floors of records?! Heaven.
Michael should publish a book on record stores in Japan. I already lost count how many stores he visited so far. Great job Michael.
@@Grooverski That is an excellent idea!!
