I never imagined Tan Tao Liang was that legendary in 1973. His movies were watched in the 80's after Bruce Lee's death. I always been a fan of his 🙏

I watched his movie hand of death so many times when i was a teenager. One of my all.time fav movies. He was also great in the tatoo connection with Jim Kelly.

Tan Tao Liang has the best kicks in all of martial arts cinema history, that is even including actors today. He is a couple of notches above John Liu and Hwang Jang Lee. His kicks are so smooth, effortless, and so lightning quick. His form and motions are just butter.

@mr.coojie7308, I disagree. Hwang jung Lee has the best kick. His kicks are more powerful and impressive.

@@sundayaito4366 no way, Hwang Jang Lee is a distant 3rd.....behind John Liu.

I like him more than Hwang Jan Lee, who I also like and respect very much. I’ve been watching both of them since the 70’s. 🎉

Fancier does not mean better. His hand techniques are standard. I still find him fun to watch and hes much better than Norris, Van damnit and a host of others.

@gregs.5559 ..."Fancier" is what counted in the [entertainment] business, Half of all martial arts actors didn't even know kung-fu, They trained and rehearsed solely for their parts in particular with directors. If these guys did "Real" kung-fu (somewhat similar to the tv series), They would have never sold theater audiences and that genre of the movie industry would have died right along with Bruce Lee! Actual kung-fu is actually boring to watch, not a dimes worth of entertainment, if that was what you were looking for I'm fairly certain you weren't disappointed, I myself preferred action packed fighting sequences but "Who's style was the best" is totally opinionated. I've heard people say "Next to Bruce Lee, Jimmy Wang-Yu was the greatest martial arts actor of all time" then there were those who said/thought "Chuck Norris"....Hey, To each his/her own!😂😂😂
