This is honestly one of my favorite moments of the show. Not only did Tonya get in trouble, but everyone in the Family got caught doing something the shouldn’t have been doing except Chris. When Tonya put the cigarettes in Chris’ drawer, I just knew Rochelle was going to find them, and Chris would get in trouble. This is one of the few times Chris didn’t get screwed over.
Chris had the same look on his face that I did when my sister finally got in trouble for the first time. It was such an amazingly wonderful thing. When you're the big brother, you always get i trouble for your little siblings but when they finally take the heat for their own actions its glorious!

Here he just Fesses up that he found them and things actually work out in his favor. A lot of Chris’s problems in this show are often because he is making situations more complicated than they need to be. It’s really a turning point for his character.
