      It's ok to feel lonely. I think feeling lonely is not something we should despise or be ashamed of. Not that it needs to be celebrated either. I would encourage avoiding self-pity but turn that pain of loneliness into seeking after Him more passionately. And as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstance; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." In Christ, we have to rejoice always, give thanks in all circumstances - including in our loneliness. It's ok to feel lonely. But our response to that should still be rejoicing and giving thanks.

    I walk alone, in this world, but I have a family. A huge family in the Holy Spirit and in Christ. We are never alone. When we feel the most alone is when Christ is the closest to us...

    This is so true! But everything will be okay! Those true connections will come, the people needed to help push forward your ministry will come. Just like you mentioned, those called to do God's work, sometimes had to go alone. I say this from personal experience, you might feel lonely in your convictions and your beliefs, and in trying to live righteously but you are not alone. God bless, everything will be okay and the right people will come in time. I would suggest also, ( this is what I've been doing) to pray and ask HIm to bring the right people into your life at the right time, that will be a blessing and be edifying to your life spirtually. Also, I've just subscribed and I will be praying for you too!

    Yes, I saw the video a while back. It is true to some extent. We will never fit in with the world. If you desire a partner keep asking God for one. If it be His will, He will give you one. We have not because we ask not.
    Be blessed.

    Thanks Daniel, I’ll read that essay. I can also relate to what you’re saying. I find I have less and less in common with friends, church goers, even family. The more we focus on Christ, I think the more of the “world” we see in others, and the weirder we seem to others. But we must remember, we are in enemy territory, and we are not of this world. If the world hates us, then we’re on the right track. Sorry to say this, but we better get used to it, because it’s only going to get worse. The enemy has a short time left, and we’re going to need to endure to the end.
    But we can look forward to the day when Christ comes to claim what’s His.

    Yes, I've been listening to some of Tozer's stuff recently. In another sermon he answered a question I had for a long time. Probably not recommended, especially since the word "COMPUTER" has a value of 666 in English gematria, but I use a video game creation tool to modify an existing video game and create my own friends to go on fun adventures with. They don't let me down. :) It helps for a while...

    Their is no real fellowship in the church. I was in AA For a few years before being saved, where we all cared for one another. When people would talk about the wonderful things in their life, they would always say, if it weren't for God and the fellowship of the program I wouldn't be where I am now. I don't hear that in the church, at all. Disgusting.

      It’s a tough go for the second class single person like me. I don’t know about you but all I want to do is just have friendships with believers in and outside the assembly. The friendships end when we leave the building oftentimes, we wave and smile and see them again next Sunday. I’ve been forgiven much, I guess that’s why I’m still thrilled about His word, and can’t wait to be among the Lords every Sunday. Lately I’ve been feeling selfish for expecting anything from believers, I’m working on being the change if the Lord wills, let’s see what could happen if we take the first step, but let’s keep in mind that there still may be upset in our efforts. Take care man.

    The closer we get to God in that direction the more we will be set apart even from professing Christians. And many have not tasted the radical desire to follow God so they can’t understand. The more we deny ourselves the sweeter Jesus Christ is.

      The word “predestined” is mentioned in the Bible several times, so that’s something to think about. It’s crazy how church has turned into a business and people act cordial for 1 hour a week on Sundays. What about the rest of the week? I’m an adult orphan with no family or friends in this loveless society. My heart longs to go home! I just hope I’m not shy or socially awkward in Heaven due to the constant rejection I’ve experienced on this earth! Sigh.

    Ask the Lord why you're alone. Do not only depend on Mr. Tozier's message. You may not be able to have someone all the time, but to not have, all the time, anyone to talk to that's interested in listening & talking about the Lord? I question that. But it is by design of the Lord that you be alone sometimes : that means you need to ask the Lord what are you to do at that time when you're alone. The Lord may tell you to go....or go talk to...or do....or read...or pray in tongues, etc. If you've been a professed Christian for some years, you should be able to hear Him speak. You should not be guessing & speculating on what's going on with you. You must have communication with the Lord & be able to hear directly from Him at any & all times : This sounds like that's what's missing. That's why souls need to complete the born-again conversion with the baptism with the Holy Ghost, evidenced with speaking in tongues. You can go into the deep dimensions in the spirit realm praying in tongues & you don't have to engage in trying to figure out what to pray; You can pray for long periods of time : Your Christian walk will surely change & you'll be excited; & you can spend deeper learning time with the Lord & grow close to Him & kill your flesh. You can pray in tongues all the time & learn the purposes for praying in tongues from the Lord Jesus. Tongues are one of the keys to communication with the Lord : dialogue, not monologue. Monologue, meaning you're doing all the talking & you can't hear the Lord say anything. If it is monologue, let it be the Lord doing the talking.
    It's very interesting to be with the Lord when you speak in tongues.

    • @DanielBjorndahl
      @DanielBjorndahl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't agree about speaking in tongues, but the rest of what you say is excellent advice. I must trust that when I am alone, perhaps it is to have intimacy only with Yahweh, and that this is for the best.

    • @Kae-OMJ
      @Kae-OMJ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DanielBjorndahl You don't agree because you don't understand why the Lord wants to give His people His heavenly language. After He gave me the previous comment to which you replied, the Lord said, You are confused about tongues & His Word. Loneliness can be confused with boredom. You cannot dismiss what happened on the day of Pentecost to the 120 in the upper room to "another dispensation of time." Every professed Christian MUST have their own personal day of Pentecost, by being baptized with the Holy Ghost, evidenced with speaking tongues. This is the short of the mystery of speaking in tongues. There's a lot going on in Ch. 2 of Acts that need to be expounded on & I am not instructed by the Lord to do so in a "comment section." You can only grow to the ultimate spiritual height the Lord wants His people to grow via the baptism with the Holy Ghost. Satan does not consider you to be a threat. Your prayers in your natural language go through the plane of the second heaven & his principalities & demons catch your prayers & destroys them. The Lord will not give you everything He wants you to know in your natural language. You're spiritually missing out. I speak from experience not imagination. Rejection of the baptism with the Holy Ghost has consequences after having been told. I've seen it.
