Thank you very much. I was just going to look that up. I spent my young years attending Atlantic College in Wales 91-93. I still dream of going back there some day and visit the perhaps visit the Emerald Isle once more. Thanks from the Fiji Islands.
It's even more beautiful in person. I cried most of my trip there, because of how peaceful and pure Ireland 🇮🇪 was. The atmosphere was so unlike anything. The sheep the castles 🏰 and the the double rainbow 🌈
This hymn gives you a wonderful entrance to the love and peace of God. Thank you to Lady Julian of Norwich for showing and teaching that "All will be well." My path home lays clearly before me after 80 years stumbling around in this world for me. In the end "all will be well!"
I love hearing the voice of Irish musicians like her. Wish she was still around writing songs and singing them. She’s really a timeless and talented treasure.
When friends by shame are undefiled... Somebody suggested to me that I should check out Enya music, something like 20 years ago. I'd never heard the name, so I asked the lady in the music store about it. She suggested Shepherd Moon. I bought a CD, opened the package in my truck with my switchblade, and spent the next hour or two spellbound. I later read that this was a later Pete Seeger version of the song, which made sense to me. Sounded kind of like him. Death to tyrants, said my younger self. I drove back and forth across the continent listening to this. That was a long time ago and it still sounds an echo in my soul. If I have one, I've never been sure about that...
If you listen to Enya, you have a soul 😉 Not that others don't though. I've rediscovered my love for Enya after listening to her in my childhood, and I've realized how much she formed my love for singing and music that calls to the soul and has meaning and history behind it, and joy.
How Can I Keep from Singing? by Pauline T & Robert Lowry 1868.The music is beautiful, but the composer took a lot from church hymns and children's lullabies.
joy is a scare commodity in a dreary world, where the simple pleasures in life have a short life span, all that there is is to relish in the moments fleeing from moment to moment, run towards that joy run towards that happiness however brief. life is a hellscape of no escape but death. love your loved ones, embrace your wrongs as equally as your rights. and move forward march on towards that joy that hellscape unencumbered by doubt should you only do this then you will have lived. live well prosper in obscurity embrace the light do not dismay its only happening the one time. ❤❤❤
Basti pensare all'ultima strofa. Della serie: "Quanto più vuoto faccio entrare in me stesso, tanta più vita potrò accogliere e trasmettere".
@@brianboisguilbert6985 I agree. I definitely sense His presence while listening to it. I think she wanted folks to go as deep as they're willing to go with these words. If you're daring enough to believe, you WILL find Him in this song. Amen.
For all who might be interested, this is the Dunlewey Church in County Donegal, Ireland.

A real masterpiece; and Enya is the Queen of the masterpieces...
This song is for my friend Marvin who just passed this week. R.I.P my friend.

She took all references to Christ out of this song...
Yes, though His presence shines through despite.
