Ooh never had a number one fan before😜 we are glad you are enjoying the vlogs, we have plenty more network to cover so stick with us we will show you the sights. Thanks for you support and comments it really helps😀
A lovely video. If I might make a suggestion (coming from a place of total ignorance in these matters!) - you have your microphone attached to your left lapel. However, you are mostly facing to the right (sometimes but not often, straight ahead). Perhaps if you attached your mic to the right side of your jacket your voice would be clearer.
Thanks, we found it tough with the current against us especially in the tunnels. Still once your on the way bak you fly through 😃 Thanks for watching and the comment 😊
It was the first time we had encountered a current on a narrow shallow canal, I Guess second time we will take it in our stride. Coming back was a lot easier 😊 Thanks for Watching and commenting It Heps a lot 👍
@@lockontommi The River Dee feeds into the canal, hence the current. There was a time one could go past the marina and almost up to the horseshoe falls, where the canal starts at the Dee. I recalll that going towards Llangollen was pretty challenging, especially through the tunnels near Chirk. Had to go full throttle to get through them against the current! The other thing was the tight turn after the viaduct. Had to do a 30 point turn in my 76 footer!!
Been down there in a holiday boat as a child still remember it. I'm sure it was wider then. They did have problems with leaks is that why the canal is narrow.
Funny enough I had a school holiday on the Llangollen too. Been an awful long time since then though 😂😂 and apart from the aqueduct I didn’t recognise much. Thanks for watching, your support and comment it really helps the channel 😀👍
Thanks for watching 😀 it’s an incredible trip we really enjoyed it despite the issues with current, I guess that’s just as it was unexpected. Next time will be easier😃

That’s a good point thank you. I will give it a go👍 Thanks for watching and commenting it really helps the channel 😀
You handled your boat well in those narrows Tommi. I’ve seen some hire boaters struggle terribly down there.

Did that stretch a couple of years ago..and yeah...it gets pretty tight on that section!
