I am beyond confused. How do you move the view with your mouse like that? I need an absolute BASIC video, not a link. I'm a visual learner. 1. how to move camera with mouse. 2. How to move the limbs/bodyparts. and 3. SImple shortcuts that we would need to make the avi pose. PLEASE
@@KatsBits Hmm, I wanted to know how I can have both options on the same avatar, standing and when he sits on the couch. Do you know how to implement both in the same avatar? (For example, the avatar you buy at the store, when you sit down it stays seated, when you get up it stands up.)
Hello, I have uploaded my animated pose onto IMVU Studio. However, when I click on different pose marks, I eventually end up having half of my animated avatar go through the floor/underground.. is there anyway that I can solve this? Thank you very much
See channel About page for Discord info, will need to see screenshots of the project to determine what's going on as something doesn't seem right (obviously!)
@@KatsBits I wanted to create an avatar pose using the animation tool from the imvu studio toolkit for blender, and I would like to add an accessory to this pose (like bags for example), is there a tutorial on that? Thank you for your attention :)
Hello. Please tell me why when I make a mesh consisting of several objects (for example, hair) some parts of the mesh after loading into imvu are not in their places (for example, individual strands of hair can float somewhere on the side) How to fix it? I apply all transforms and clear parenting but it doesn't help.
Would need to see what you're doing exactly... with that said, ordinarily Apply Transform isn't necessary when projects are exported to FBX as it keeps everything in situ. Jump on Discord (see channel About page for info).
Been struggling for a while, hope maybe you or someone else can help. Last resort type thing. I am exporting my pose with autokey on but it adds an animation to sitting back up. In IMVU studio it doesn't cause a problem because when you set the loop to 1 2 0 then it doesn't play at al. However, in the client the animation plays still. My Avi will go into the pose and then stand up. I have tried everything and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Followed the video exactly to the letter but I can't get it to function properly.
There are a couple of things going on here potentially; make sure you're setting a start and end frame for the duration in Studio and that both points in the sequence a 'clear', that is not too near other frames that the transition from one to the other causes 'blend bleed'. And second, and more likely, there *is* a longstanding bug in playback where the various clients are not as absolute as they should be with the data they reference, causing that 'hiccup'. You can usually fix the first issue but not the second, as that requires IMVU address that.
Hello, back again for another question so I have my pose all made up. When I go to (Type) it says Avatar or Room. If I select “room” will it make my pose a furniture pose? I’m trying to get into making furniture poses but I’m a little lost here. Any help will be appreciative. :)
Poses and animations are interchangeable as both male and female avatars use the same underlying skeleton so you've likely done something if there's an issue.
Hi, I don't know why it always shows skeleton in 'Review and Import' when importing in imvu studio... and the pose turned weird.. I've followed all steps
The skeleton being there on import is normal. After import make sure to reset the skeleton under Component to use the original skeleton, that should unweird the animation/pose.

How would this pose look sitting? By the way, would it be possible to teach a pose while standing and also sitting down?

@@yoonb5759 that depends on the trigger; stance.Sitting triggers the pose on seating, stance.Standing using a non-sitting pose spot.
@@KatsBits oh, ok.
This is what I can't figure out and ther are no tutorials anywhere...its always just one pose, never going through how to do both.
Avatars also have unique sitting poses, how do you change those as well?
See this www.katsbits.com/codex/toolkit-sitting/ You'd basically be replacing those defaults with one or more of your own custom pose.
why doesn't the imvu studio toolkits bar appear or show there when i click sidebar
Have you installed it? www.katsbits.com/codex/imvu-studio-toolkit/

Where should I find the exported XAF file
The Toolkit and Studio use FBX. Look for the FBX in the folder the project was exported to.
Is there any tutorial about creating static pose with meshes added? Love your channel
Yep, see here www.katsbits.com/codex/toolkit-accessory-pose/

How can we make poses to add them in the furniture section not for avatar

I want to ask, why is there eyebrows on the avi and i can't load it in imvu classic
You don't want to be importing the *meshes* if you're importing a *pose*. You just need to animation file(s).

My guess is to apply "all transforms" before duplicating the object. Or maybe there is another reason?

When I click "Append animation file" is says some imvu scene is missing. It won't let me continue to the next part :(
You installed the Toolkit as a ZIP file yes (didn't extract)? See the red boxout here www.katsbits.com/codex/toolkit-furniture-custom-poses/
I’ve created a pose but I don’t know how to put it in the furniture catalog any tips ?
See this www.katsbits.com/codex/toolkit-furniture/ about 2/3rds in (c. 11 minute mark).
When I go to import it at the last step it just loads 4ever, never bringing in the fbx, I'm replacing an existing avatar btw, what could be the issue?
It's looping in Studio? If so that usually means there's a generated material in the file somewhere, Studio doesn't like those.

It *shouldn't* be set to Avatar for sure! So leave it 'blank' or use room (iirc Studio will reset to blank if room is set).
