You are great, always helping people and working tirelessly. I really appreciate the work you have made available for everyone, especially newbies like me. Thank you so much.
can you do some troubleshooting videos? even when i follow your steps my animation does not pop up when imported. only the morph for the face and even that is not right. what am i missing?
If you see the animation listed in the Animation page during import, and or can be seen in the Asset browser in Studio, that data *has* been import but it either needs setting up correctly or the incoming skeleton has swapped out the derived item's default.
Hi your tutorials really helped me a lot but I was wondering if there’s a tutorial on how to do multiple pose triggers? I tried creating one but it just play one pose 😅
And I don't know if it's an update thing either but in blender I can only modify the avatar's pose in the animation folder, if I try it in the layout folder it either selects everything or if I select a body part in particular it just deattaches itself from the rest of the body. Now i don't think it plays a role in the fact that my avatar has a T pose in imvu studio because it still shows the progress I made in the layout folder. Honestly I'm just confused so I want to share any details that are different from your video to know if that's part of the problem I'm facing...
UPDATE: nevermind I watched your last update for the pose and I think the time frame + the fact that i wrote "Stance.Idle" instead of "stance.Idle" contributed to the problem, now my pose shows correctly!
@@achereds_1953 re: if you accidently move the avatar *meshes* you can 'UnDo' that but, as you mention, their being in the wrong place/left where they are, doesn't affect the exported animation, so long as a skeleton and Action/animation sequence shows up during import (per your previous comment above), you should have all the parts you need to assemble the pose.
Make sure to set the Start and End frames depending on what the animation is supposed to do, for example, Start:1, End:2 creates a 'static' pose that doesn't change.
No idea. And doing any of that, intentionally publishing 18+ (AP) content as General Audience (GA), is a ToS violation and will result in an account banning and/or the User potentially owing IMVU lost revenue.
Does rotating the root to turn the pose work? I turn the pose to the right in blender by rotating the root but once I put in studio it stays facing the same direction no matter what, but if I lift the pose into the air it works. Raising it works, rotation does not.
Watch this www.katsbits.com/codex/imvu-studio-toolkit/ - you should be installing the zip file directly.. don't extract or do anything else. Make sure to be using Blender 2.93 LTS as well.
I've done absolutely everything to fix a problem. I even deleted and reinstalled Blender, etc... when I go to pose and click on Append Animation File, the avatar does not appear, the box is still there and the following message appears in the footer: FILE NOT FOUND! IMVUMegaScene.blend, help me please.
See here for more www.katsbits.com/codex/toolkit-pose/ but yes, or you can use one of the base avatars, 80 & 191, but you'll need to fiddle with the Ensembles to make sure you override the defaults.

Very nice!
can you explain how to create animations on the face? I mean face moods
Yep, see here www.katsbits.com/codex/avatar-morph-animation/ for Face 'morphs' in Blender

Like an 'avatar pose pack'? See here www.katsbits.com/codex/avatar-poses/
I've done everything like you did but when I wanted to preview my pose, my avatar went into the T pose, I don't know what went wrong :/
Also when I import the fbx file it says there are 2 skeletons, 4 materials and 3 animations (of which 2 have the same name)
And I don't know if it's an update thing either but in blender I can only modify the avatar's pose in the animation folder, if I try it in the layout folder it either selects everything or if I select a body part in particular it just deattaches itself from the rest of the body. very grateful friend, but how do I always leave him in the same pose without breaks?
Make sure to set the Start and End frames depending on what the animation is supposed to do, for example, Start:1, End:2 creates a 'static' pose that doesn't change.
I'm having some problems. When I try to import the pose, it wont work as an fbx file. I cant import it at all, any tips for that?
In Studio? Is it importing anything at all or popping up with an error?
Same issue I’m having
@@lormamigreedy1064 is the file not showing up at all when trying to import into Studio, or does it load but then fail during the process?
When I try to import mines would say try again later
Do you know how people are setup 18+ pose non ap and they are not available in shop and they are doing in purchased room

I don’t see the view imvu toolkit as a sidebar . I don’t know what step I missed ..

it says im missing mesh whenever i try to apply it in the creation FDX window, i dont know what to do or if im missing something.
If you're importing an animation Studio won't import any mesh data so that 'error' can be ignored.
Hey, I'm having an issue. I made a pose but when i import it to studio, it goes underground. Do you know what I did wrong?
What are you deriving from?

Will get back to you on this because obviously the rig isn't set up to accommodate who this used to be done... BRB...
Okay.. jump on Discord (see Channel about page for link) - looks like this is possible but you have to be quite 'strict' with the set up.

Works for female and not male
Make sure you're adding "80" and "191" to the product compatibility otherwise it'll only work for the avatar derived from.
The avatar I created won't blink
You need to use the Shape Key file for that www.katsbits.com/codex/avatar-morph-animation/
