Thank you for sharing your beautifully edited informative video. I have been to Norway three times now. My main base was in Tromsø, but for one excursion we took the speed ferry from Tromsø to Harstad. I was thrilled to see that you show the 14th C Trondenes kirk; on the day of our visit we were the only two inside in addition to the organist rehearsing! The Hurtigruten coast ferry is my next planned visit in 2026; for my 80th b´day I look forward to sailing into Tromsø while hearing the captain toot the horn! Tusen takk.

Thank you for your informative video. We’re going on this same itinerary Dec 15, 2024, so seeing what you did was most helpful.

Thx, I enjoyed your film. It was helpful as I’m sailing that way early next month. 👍

You said Tromsø has almost 70.000 residents, but the fact is it has almost 80.000. The correct number for mid 2024 is 78 892

I am considering this trip in October 2025. My reservation is that there is not much time to explore any of these cities. Some are reached at night, not optimal to get a feel for. The major towns get maybe 2 hours...what was your experience? It seems in your lovely video that you had ample time in daylight...

In most of the major towns, we had between 2.5 and 3 hours to explore. There were some organised tours if one is interested. Or one can walk around by oneself. We did a few organised tours and on other occasions walked by ourselves. The towns visited for longer periods on the way up were different from those visited on the way back. By going up and back there is an opportunity to see a little most of the major places. It is also possible to use the ships as a ferry as the go every day of the year. You can get off for a couple of days and then board another ship.

Do you mean the West coast?? , that faces the North Atlantic?
