I have the "old" hcalory suitcase style heater. Works very nicely. Both for camping( tent), greenhouse i late spring with colder nights and with a hose through the cat door to heat the hallway ( heat is spreading from there) like now between warm autum to chilly late autum when i start my centralheating ( wood pellets boiler) . Works fine. I havent tampered with any thing except for using 20 liter fueltank.
Looks a nice heater David the only negative is taking it apart for servicing as we found out in your teardown video on your other channel, I'm surprised that Kroak didn't put more thought into accessing the heater for maintenance like changing the glow plug and cleaning the combustion chamber. Hope your health is still improving mate🙏👍
Thanks for the review David. I wondered what your thoughts were with the pump lying horizontal, as I’ve read many reports that it should be vertical or at least at an angle. Also I’m thinking of putting this inside a water resistant unit outside and then plugging it into an external plug socket and putting the ac/dc power adapter inside a waterproof box. I wondered what your thoughts were on these points?
Sometimes it's not possible to mount them ideally. I've run pumps on their side a few times. Yes it may shorten their life, but they are cheap and easy to replace. A lot of people have done just what you are suggesting to heat their homes.
started off looking good, then i saw that dangerous non UK compliant plugtop. if they can't get that right i have no faith in the rest of it (will not have passed any sort of CE or UKCA conformity even though it has the marks), especially the PSU to not blow up or catch fire. shame because appearances of it are good.
Yes. I'd either run it only off a battery or source another power supply. But other than them cheaping out on the power supply, the heater and controller are surprisingly good.

Dzisiaj właśnie do mnie dotarł z Niemiec. Jestem pozytywnie zaskoczony jakością materiałów, montażu i opakowania.

@@Reviews4Moneyyes fair point David, they’re about £25.
Hi David, does this shut down when it hits the target temperature?
I didn't see any mention or options in the manual for thermostat mode.

CE - China Export 😂
It does come with a plug wired with crimped O rings. You can then connect that to you own ac/dc converter with a proper plug, which is what I’ve done.
Can I install this system in my van
