LEVELING VERSION HERE: th-cam.com/video/ID5SWPHAcss/w-d-xo.html To those that think I "copied" this idea: I posted the leveling version of this build over a week ago, where I literally reference this build at the beginning, then show the paragon board and setup at the end. I looked up this ragegaming person and their video was posted after mine. If anything, they copied me. Super annoying because I've been working on this build idea since last season. If you watch the whole video, it may become obvious that I've thought about this A LOT.
Do you want to know what's crazy? I had the same idea even before the season started; I just didn't know how to make it work, and my friend, you just showed me, and I want to thank you for that. Please keep the content coming. I love the vid and how descriptive you are.
I put it together and I freaking love it, except I'm using Tyreals might instead if a chest piece with Vyrs mastery rolled on it. Would you say that's still fine. It works
Andariels Visage is a good alternative to Shako in some sorc builds. Paired with the starlight aspect, you get godly amounts of health and mana regen. edit: you also get a good source for the 4th stack of tals ring.
Great video! Can you make another video showing how you actually play this build? What abilities you use at what times and what strategies with those abilities?
I will definitely try out Esadoras, starting with full int to see how much damage it can push, and then working in defensives and other stats to see if it remains viable. For full int, I'm gonna run Adariels helm, Raiment chest (with GA int), Tibaults pants (or just GA int pants), GA int gloves and boots, Havarion staff (+% all stats), GA int/Tal Rasha rings and of course the amulet. Snort some incense (all stats + all stats + int), and that should give an idea of the full damage potential of the build.
@@Zikorik Have to say that after trying it out, I was getting nice numbers on the training dummies (up to 180m), but it was too inconsistent and felt slow when I tried it for infernal hordes. LS is everywhere for a reason; it comes out way ahead of other builds. By personal comparison, it was taking me over 3 mins to kill the t7 council with CL and under 15 seconds to kill them with LS.
I've played this briefly and ended up going back to pure CL. The reason was that esadoras is cool but the 15% proc rate just felt way too low. Yes we can get tons of crackling but it still didn't seem to go off enough. I had 3500 int and max rolls on both uniques you talked about. When esadoras went off, it felt great, but it wasn't consistent enough for me.
I haven't thought about Fractured tbh I'll have to give it a try. I've been wanting to make a build with Esadora's work for a while and with the lil buff this season I had to keep it in there lol, I just love the lightning blasts when they do pop esp a couple in a row
been following since season 1...got a ring of starless skies on my barb...going to move it over to maximize dps. Do you ever revisit older builds like infinite meteor from previous seasons and see how they'll fair going forward?
about to post :D appreciate you homie thanks for following. I'm gonna be looking at a couple different versions of that meteor build I think, was one of my favs.
VERYGR8TFUL THE LEGEND!! Much love you're the best - this is the first one of these I've ever gotten lol I didn't even know you could do this. Thanks for stickin around, hoope this season is going well for ya!
@Zikorik it's great! I love the changes they have made. Combined with your amazing mathy builds I am having a blast. Can't thank ya enough for helping me reach play levels I have never enjoyed before :-)
combination of invigorating conduit, unleash, mana per second roll, resource elixir, and the resource generation on axial and ring that I talk about in the video. Interesting idea, which aspect would you look to replace with starlight? I tried different ones in place of recharging and nothing felt even close with the amount of bounces we are getting - also the resource generation from pants and ring scales the amount you get from both recharging aspect and invigorating conduit
Even though Esu boots got crit buffed they still screwed us over with resistances, Id rather have the resource cost reduction. Sorc at max level doesn't need all resistance on anything
I have a very similar build to yours and been looking to run a cool crackling energy build. Well I've made a really cool one but I'm super squishy. Not to mention, I have either the option of clearing tons of ads or be a boss killer not both. So currently trying to tweak it.
I think the ceiling will probably be a bit lower than forb based on what I saw last season - I don't know about lightning spear I haven't seen that yet. I've just been attached to the idea of getting a build with Esadora's to work for a while lol I love the lightning explosions
woah that sounds like a crazy setup. And then you wouldn't need the weapon temper to get tal rashas online having the poison, very cool. appreciate the feedback will have to try
Weird, I tried it with 3k Int and the explosions basically did nearly to no damage (on top of its proc chance is already way too low). Made me really sad tbh xD (clarification I have 12/12 Uba gear for Chain lightning, but the esadora version did not add anything to the already weaker build)
I only have one question...I went by your build guide but my character isnt dropping very many crackling lightning. Definitely not as many as your video. What is going on?
All the crackling energy is coming from chain lightning crits - make sure you have the Destructive Chain Lightning upgrade in the skill tree. If you're underleveled or your crit chance isn't high enough, you won't see nearly as many because it's all dependent on chain lightning critting. I'd use the leveling version I posted in the pinned comments until you're 100 with at least 50% crit chance (Esu's Heirloom helps crit chance ALOT if you can find a good pair of those)
@@samtriplette8716 I just said this to derrick but wanted to make sure you saw it also! Hey Zik, I've tried your build but charged orbs just dont drop enough during 1v1 fights (aka Boss fights) and it ends up taking way longer to clear. its a great build if you can get the blue balls to drop lots though.
Appreciate the feedback - this definitely isn't the top end bossing build. The higher your crit chance, the more crackling energy you will see. A good pair of Esu's helps A TON with this. I also try to build up crackling energies around the boss for the stagger phase then dive through as many as I can during that so they are hitting with all the cc multipliers up
I need some tips for getting my boss damage up. I just did a level 98 pit and smoked through the mobs, but get to the boss and it flips to slow motion mode took me damn near 5 minutes to kill that boss. Thoughts?
In general the pit boss health scaling is pretty wack rn. The build I've been working on clears the T110 mobs in about 3-5 mins then the boss takes 8-10 mins lol. I think the most you can do in this build is make sure you're keeping max chain lightnings up and staying close whenever possible - your crackling energy explosions pop for big dmg, so if possible try to build a bunch up around the boss right before the stagger then dive through them all to get those procs to hit with all the multipliers up
holy moly gz , ya could definitely work I messed with it for a bit but when I got to tier 7 horde it felt like I needed a bit more dmg reduction, that's when I started trying mage lords, snowveiled, and soulbrand - ended up switching to firebird in the end cus it saves me from so many 1-shots. But if you kill everything fast enough then you don't need as much damage reduction lol, I would try to hit glass cannon or int with the masterworking crits
@@Zikorik I masterworked it and hit on all the ranks 5plus each. 5 glass cannon 5 potent warding an 5 on the other. I’m going to try and re work it for all glass canon. Fingers crossed.
ngl homie this game is so buggy that I can't recommend hardcore for anyone lol, respect. I wouldn't go for this one on hardcore probably - it's meant to be more offensive bursty than super survivable.
