Never listened to Testament until i saw them live in 2019. They absolutely blew me away. I was immediately hooked afterward.
Absolutely iconic and legendary.
One of the best thrash bands of all time, these guys, Slayer, Kreator and Exodus are my big 4 of thrash metal 🤘

IMO, the one thing early Testament albums need more than just typical modern day brickwalled remastering, is remixing to add more mids to the guitars. They're so aggressively scooped to the point where they don't make their presence felt nearly as much as they should.

I used to think this was the heaviest Testament album....until 1999. The Legacy is still such an A+ album and the perfect debut from any thrash band! Testament will always be my favorite metal band, they have been since 1991!

Note to the band, and to Nuclear Blast…STOP MESSING with the ORIGINAL, ICONIC album ARTWORK!!! It’s simply NOT better than the original artwork. That’s like messing w/any other great art, like; the Mona Lisa, or Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’. Love & Appreciate the remastering of the music, and the nice booklets…just stop fkn w/your Great, Original album artwork!!

No, definitely not. Chuck hasn't been able to hit those high notes since the 80s LOL.
You'd be surprised what can change when you use the equalizers, compressors, and other devices that we have today. They definitely compressed this more.

For real.. 50 frickin dollars and vinyl only(no cd) if you want a physical copy? I love Testament, but come on now.. And why only The Legacy and New Order? Everything up to at least Low should be remastered and frankly should have already been done years ago. Testament is so late to the remaster party.
