Dont play veteran then, lol. Veteran was never meant for practice; it was meant for how bad you want to feel after you play against them. Granted, I have enough game knowledge to somewhat predict the game AI so I can kinda work around it in specific circumstances, but if you wanna do it just for practice, just play recruit or regular. Hardened is to challenge yourself, and veteran is God vs. Man
if you are good enough, then it can be used for practice,I suggest choosing regular first, then when you think you are managing to win every match with ease, play on hardened, and then on veteran, also beating the campaign on veteran helps to make you better at the game,in veteran once you get shot you have to quickly hide/lie on the ground or youre dead
Holy crap! I have watched tips and tricks videos to improve my game, some help and some dont and not much of a difference. But this caused an drastic change in my game immediately. Im impressed, im not a bad player but not that good either, I think this has changed my level of gaming. Thx man!
Thanks for the tip, I have watched so many TH-cam videos to help me improve and of all of them this one has helped me the most, After doing such i am now better, i did have a 0.90 in BO II now i have a 1.97 K/D and in Ghosts it was 1.73 to a 2.55 K/D im doing MLG now and i need all the help i can get So thank you on helping me achieving my dream.
I unknowingly did this in game I run a smg with agility and marathon and it works your reactions do speed up also your map presence is increased being that you can move around the map at ridiculous speeds also you are able to rush campers and get first shot on them.. I suggest everyone try this drill
Honestly this type of videos are the ones that will make you get millions of subscribers! good job man! maybe next time you should do one of how to deal with noobs and things like that
Now a days the average connection is about 16mb so there isn't that much of a reliance on internet connection unless you have google fiber then it will always set you up as host and you will certainly dominate most of the time.
You're Drill vids are amaaaziing! They really help out a lot. Ive got my settings saved and i tend to do these drills everytime i start playing on cod. And duuuddee! This works for real!!
Man every video is so helpfull , been playing cod since waw , i'm pretty good , i thought i could not get any better , after these drills and line of sight tips i am much better at this game going from a 2.40 KD to a 2.55 in about a week , wich is really good because i was stuck at 2.40 , thank you !
Good drill. This is one thing I can get better at is my reaction time. I do have a tough time at long range shots too even when I burst fire but a lot of that is (I think) lag comp.
It looks very affective and even looks a little fun, if you will, I think I will give this a shot. Also if you're a hater give this guy a chance, I subscribed to him a while ago and I can tell he really cares about his audience and his drills work. He also tells you some cool tips and tricks about the game. Thank you Ace :)
Thanks to this I will start training using this Drill. Here is my Plan: One 20 minute Drill session, 3 normal games of Domination. Thank you for this drill, and the accuracy drill.
Wow, this came as a real surprise suggestion video, loved it, used to do it on BO2 to kill time but never thought on how it could be a mechanic exercise. I might have a suggestion for an idea, that if you could tackle into a drill, would surely help me, but first, I wanna check your other videos. Kudos to you sir!
I think its great that you do videos like this, geared to help improve the gaming experience from both sides of the equation. (mind and body so to speak) Would you consider doing a..."Behind/Beyond the Bullets/Engagement,Surviving First Contact(or whatever you might call it)" video that looks at the strategy and tactics needed to set yourself up for the NEXT gunfight(s). I suppose what I am asking about would be...enhancing situation awareness, thinking ahead, movement, positioning, anticipating enemy responses, ammo management, handling multiple enemies, knowing when not to engage and the like. Thanks for making me a better player!
Get a good gaming headset and use Dead Silence and Amplify, this should improve situation awareness, depending on what game mode you're playing, think about what your team is controlling and what the enemy team needs, that should help you to think ahead, as for movement, don't just run out into the middle of the map with no cover, look for certain paths that you can take that restrict the enemies line of sight at you from long ranges, don't just spray with your gun, that will deplete your ammo quick, and also, don't shoot a constant stream of bullets at long ranges, use burst shots so you stay on target and conserve ammo. To handle multiple enemies, use this drill, and Ace's accuracy drill together and you should be able to react fast enough and stay on target to kill multiple enemies, as for knowing when not to engage in a gun fight, that depends on your skill and weapon as well as the other persons skill and weapon.
Nice video bro! I jus started playing cod again after 2 months off it! An what u show in the video is exactly how I played b4 I stopped so im watching ur vid n doing the training to get back that muscle memory again!!
This is how I play in all the CODs. Plus I use max sensitivity.. I liked using this with the tomahawk in Black ops. Good video you beat me to making the video lol!
just a quick tip# being good at FPS games is more than just reflexes, so dont skimp on being aware of in game sounds or your surroundings, this can be very helpful when your playing games like PlanetSide 2, or Battle Field where there are far more players, the key to winning any engagement is the unfair advantage and you want as many advantages as you can, also if you want faster reflexes in real life i recommend you improve your peripheral vision for one.
Aside from just using the perks I mean by being able to be so stealthy that you can sneak into an enemy spawn and start picking them off without attracting attention while knowing where the nearby enemies are to avoid being killed.
Love watching the drill instructionals. Your aiming vid really helped me out a great deal. Now i dont play with out. Practicing my aim on at least a hundred bots first. Longing forward to trying this drill out as well as your jump shot drill soon. Thanks so much for these vids, worth hitting the like button on all of them.
I agree to majority of the perks your using but I find that amplify works wonders because it allows you to hear nearby enemies even those using dead silence. Other than that great vid
Gret drill, after going through it twice, I already notice a difference. Not great yet but a noticable difference is there. I do still die a lot on regular basis on strikezone with the bots that camp in the corners. Changed to the map unearthed (dome), and the bots camped less, so I dont know if the camping is random or if its the map.
QuickDraw is needed only for LMG and Sniper . Beside, FOCUS is a NECESSARY perk in all setups to win gunfight. I highly recommend Focus if u want win gunfight.
This is good to help register to the mind but to really put it to the highest limit. Test your self by putting a team of bots in any game on the hardest difficulty and leave yourself alone on one team while the other at max numbers. This will test reflexes and situational thinking.
+ryandy0419 Veteran bots don't help with reaction time. They react unrealistically fast and will often kill you so quickly that not even ready up and quickdraw can save you.
Last time you made a video like this you got like 60 thousand views I wish you the same luck with this and Iwanted to thank u 4 ur tips on what attchments Ishould with my fav gun the ameli it helped out
SO HAPPY I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I preordered the white PS4 and Destiny bundle and it should be here 9/11 I cant wait, your gameplays ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your maken me go crazy since I have to wait to get it :) :) :) haha
in school in a science class we played a game that tests reaction time and compared a gamer to a non-gamer and as expected, the gamers had a faster reaction time. irm gonna play that game after using your method and do a before and after and compare the results
sanad Najjab Optimal performance is achieved by establishing simple goals, reaching them consistently, and then setting higher goals until you consistently reach the level you want to be at. Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. t actually work in the field of human performance across various settings and I can tell you, as a professional (not pro gamer, but actual professional in my field), Ace's advice is damn near perfect. In virtually any other setting (school, work, whatever) where a client wants better performance for himself, we recommend some form or other of drill. Something that I do that you might try is to keep track of each day's k/d score (if k/d is important to you). Use a spreadsheet to graph them and set a trend line. It sounds like a lot of work, but chances are you will see a generally upward trend, indicating that some games are good, some are bad, but on average, you're getting better. This really helps with frustration and gives you the bigger picture of your own learning curve.
If you could do a video on how to counter or help fend yourself against a drop shot that would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if that is drill worthy, but a couple pointers would also be appreciated.
Jump shots are the perfect counter to a drop shot, especially if you can include lateral movement. It's very difficult for most people to adjust their aim upwards or side to side while drop shotting.
here is an endurance, reaction test. set the bots to 11 and reg or hardened and team death match. so it be you vs 11 but set the lives to 9 and the timer on unlimited and hardcore on and killstreaks off and field orders on. you can choose any weapon you like and perks. so this tests how long you stay alive your reactions and help you in those situations if you encounter more than one enemies. TheXcusiveAce could you try this out or anyone that reads this.
Silencer on your weapon, gillie suit, as for perks, use Dead Silence, Takedown, Incog, Off the Grid, and Blind Eye if you use specialist. If not, I'd go with just Takedown, Dead Silence, and Incog.
Thank you. I'll be trying this tonight. Reaction time is one of my greatest weaknesses in the game. I have a feeling this will help force better accuracy on the fly, as well. New subscriber.
when i turn the corner im usually the one who panic knifes someone, its rare that i get panic knifed XD i just remember to have my thumb on the analog stick when i turn corners to be ready.
Something I picked up from an MLG friend of mine is to put on a Ghillie suit. Not only does it make you a little harder to see, you don't take damage from them hitting the excess grass on the suit; they actually have to hit YOU, and not the suit. That means that sometimes they'll shoot at you and miss a little more and that can save your life a lot of the time.
Logan Liko 5th prestige, level 19, beat the campaign on Veteran and beaten every Extinction map. Quite the contrary. Also, looking at your profile pic, I can see you're a rather young person, so you surprised me by not knowing this trick, as you're exactly the type to play this game.
Genisis netsky Uh huh. Well, try out what I said; if you shoot the grass around his body, it won't hurt him, yet since it's part of your suit, they may still miss (just barely).
hi, thanks for your recomandations, am new to cod world and trying so hard am watch all your coments and help me so much, but i have not find in your coments the 101 to shoot and aim i had to find it in other youtuber, the how to move laterals not using the right stick just to adjust the aim
HELP!!! I change the respond delay and then I put hardcore mod on but it changes back to 10 seconds and when I do it the other way around hardcore mod locks it so I can't change it please help if you know how to fix it thank you.
Nice drill...all your drills are really helpful...but that's not why I'm commenting...i was going through and reading your comments and discovered that you actually reply to a lot of your subscribers which is pretty dope!...i subscribe to a few different cod channels and it seems like the"bigger channel guys "almost never reply???..maybe when you get over 500,000 subs they feel like y bother, but anyway, keep up the good work and stay true!
Hey at TheXclusiveAce thanks for the tip but I have an issue when I see a enemy o tend to move the stick that moves the gun not the player an I end up losing a gun battle that I should have won can you help me with this
I always appreciate any ideas and feedback and if I feel they're worth a video then I'll definitely do it! I was already planning on making this but I remember your comment and it gave me a bit of a push to get it out sooner. Thank you!
Doing these on bo3 with veteran bots is impossible. They have aim bot and can hear a teardrop a mile away.
The best intel out there by far. Applied it and voila! It works, instant
improvement on my K/D ratio in real time. Thanks!

Doesn't cod relay heavily on connection? If someone has a better connection, they will most likely win a gun battle right?
Now a days the average connection is about 16mb so there isn't that much of a reliance on internet connection unless you have google fiber then it will always set you up as host and you will certainly dominate most of the time.
Leocomander wtf 16 mg average i have 0.4 mg connection speed in its best state
Leocomander 16mb is not average. the average is usually about 5 - 10
MNTLPyroz Dude I'm 40mb right here I don't know what shitty internet you are using.
Leocomander yeh mine is supposed to be 30mb but is always around 10mb...
You're Drill vids are amaaaziing! They really help out a lot. Ive got my settings saved and i tend to do these drills everytime i start playing on cod. And duuuddee! This works for real!!
After my 20 minutes train of your drill, my first game on strikezone was 19 - 8 Thanks man! i will do this every day from now of!
At first I thought this wouldn't really work, but after a few hours, I have increased my kd a lot. Thanks dude!
I think it would be better to do a team deathmatch with only you on your team so that the bots don't kill each other.
Good drill. This is one thing I can get better at is my reaction time. I do have a tough time at long range shots too even when I burst fire but a lot of that is (I think) lag comp.

Thank you for this drill, and the accuracy drill.
Because Domination is all I like to play, apart from infected and Exinction.
these drills are amazing honestly I can feel im becoming better and ive used them for about a month
I'm doing this with modern warfare remastered and it helps thank so much man!!!!
Wow, this came as a real surprise suggestion video, loved it, used to do it on BO2 to kill time but never thought on how it could be a mechanic exercise. One of the few "Tip" videos I've seen aren't aren't complete bullshit.
Good job!
This is how I play in all the CODs. Plus I use max sensitivity.. I liked using this with the tomahawk in Black ops. Good video you beat me to making the video lol!
I clicked on this video to improve my reaction time as a goalie lol

This is a really clever tactic it helps when playing all games
I agree to majority of the perks your using but I find that amplify works wonders because it allows you to hear nearby enemies even those using dead silence. Other than that great vid
Thank you the drill help me out a lot before the drill I couldn`t get a single gunfight kill
Good video. Makes sense, especially for newer players trying to improve.
your advise is great my game has defiantly improved
QuickDraw is needed only for LMG and Sniper . Beside, FOCUS is a NECESSARY perk in all setups to win gunfight. I highly recommend Focus if u want win gunfight.
Wow. Still relevant info for Black Ops 3. Thank you!
I know this is old vid but one thing to add to this drill is to turn off the sound. This is so you don't depend on hearing footsteps
your amazing your the only one with this video idea who actually makes sense 👍
This is good to help register to the mind but to really put it to the highest limit. Test your self by putting a team of bots in any game on the hardest difficulty and leave yourself alone on one team while the other at max numbers. This will test reflexes and situational thinking.
+ryandy0419 Veteran bots don't help with reaction time. They react unrealistically fast and will often kill you so quickly that not even ready up and quickdraw can save you.
Thanks Ace all ur tips helped me to become better player
I find this video's helping me I've done it a few times and kills 51 / deaths 21 getting a bit better each time thxs
This helped me alot ace my kd is improving slowly but surely !!!
Its called instinct its doing something without thinking it... Its like your body is moving on its own
Quickscoping and throwing knife drills on high sensitivities (15-20).
***** I quickscope the shit out of people on ghost. Don't hate quickscopers, your just being out skilled.
***** you can quckscope your thinking of black scoping plz learn what your talking about before saying things
Seth Prinzen No i definentally quickscope.
UberAwesomeMan9 no... he means black scoping. Because you ain't wight fool
i do
Thanks a lot Ace! My K/D ratio was around 1.0 before this drill, and I improved to 2.1 :D
Great video bro. I will be trying this out whenever I get the chance
Last time you made a video like this you got like 60 thousand views I wish you the same luck with this and Iwanted to thank u 4 ur tips on what attchments Ishould with my fav gun the ameli it helped out

***** what? haha
***** dude you are confusing me, what are you talking about, haha
Wow this feels like an insider tip the pros have...
this really does help thank you I got a kem strike right after doing this drill
in school in a science class we played a game that tests reaction time and compared a gamer to a non-gamer and as expected, the gamers had a faster reaction time. irm gonna play that game after using your method and do a before and after and compare the results
Can u make a video about how to be motivated
What kind of motivation specifically? Like motivation to play the game?
Like things to do before starting to play to reach my optimal performance
sanad Najjab Optimal performance is achieved by establishing simple goals, reaching them consistently, and then setting higher goals until you consistently reach the level you want to be at. Thanks! Much appreciated.
I do this in Piano Tiles with both thumbs , I got 9.493 tiles per second on it , with an iPhone 5c.
Thanks this is one of the few videos that actually helped alot thanks again :)
+TheXclusiveAce what happens if i'm NAILING the hardened bots? (which is normal for me)
This helped me a lot!! You just earned a subscriber!!!
I'll try this thanks
You made me a better cod ghost player :3
Thank you!
One drill that I do is that when someone pops up I shoot first then aim can u do a drill on that
here is an endurance, reaction test. set the bots to 11 and reg or hardened and team death match. so it be you vs 11 but set the lives to 9 and the timer on unlimited and hardcore on and killstreaks off and field orders on. you can choose any weapon you like and perks. so this tests how long you stay alive your reactions and help you in those situations if you encounter more than one enemies. TheXcusiveAce could you try this out or anyone that reads this.
I got a kem doing this which tends to be hard in private matches for me
This video helped so much ppl would kill me without me even noticing when I should have seen him
would like to see a sniping drill. Never managed to pick up sniping in this whole series
Thx a lot for a gr8 piece of advice friend. I have started doing the same now . Thx !!
Getting prepared for gunfights .
U have to do this drill again!!
Maybe you should put on 'on the run' so you dont have to come out of sprinting when needing to reload?
Could you do a drill about how to be completely (or almost completely) stealthy?
Silencer on your weapon, gillie suit, as for perks, use Dead Silence, Takedown, Incog, Off the Grid, and Blind Eye if you use specialist. If not, I'd go with just Takedown, Dead Silence, and Incog.
I subbed. Nice drills mate they help out a lot
great drill my k.d. was 1.034 now after that a few times its now at 1.285 ... CHEERS ace
FANTASTIC DRILL. YOU GOT YOURSELF A FOLLOWER.
Thanks for this video, I have implemented this into my CS training session. :)
Thank you. I'll be trying this tonight. Reaction time is one of my greatest weaknesses in the game. I have a feeling this will help force better accuracy on the fly, as well. New subscriber.
I was wondering if maybe you could do a tutorial on vision of enemy movements
try to make a quick scoping drill to help with the way people zoom in on there targets
CAN u plis do a panic Knife drill i alway get panic KNIFE because im playing in tactical
A shotgun would probably work. It does for me anyway, since it is a one hit kill you can kill them just before the lunge process.
when i turn the corner im usually the one who panic knifes someone, its rare that i get panic knifed XD i just remember to have my thumb on the analog stick when i turn corners to be ready.
This was such a good game.
This worked so well. Thank you so much man
Something I picked up from an MLG friend of mine is to put on a Ghillie suit. Not only does it make you a little harder to see, you don't take damage from them hitting the excess grass on the suit; they actually have to hit YOU, and not the suit. That means that sometimes they'll shoot at you and miss a little more and that can save your life a lot of the time.
I'm guessing you've never played this game before
Logan Liko 5th prestige, level 19, beat the campaign on Veteran and beaten every Extinction map. Quite the contrary. Also, looking at your profile pic, I can see you're a rather young person, so you surprised me by not knowing this trick, as you're exactly the type to play this game.
No this isn't even my phone
Genisis netsky Uh huh. Well, try out what I said; if you shoot the grass around his body, it won't hurt him, yet since it's part of your suit, they may still miss (just barely).
Based on your providing details this does seem pretty legitimate I will test this
hi, thanks for your recomandations, am new to cod world and trying so hard am watch all your coments and help me so much, but i have not find in your coments the 101 to shoot and aim i had to find it in other youtuber, the how to move laterals not using the right stick just to adjust the aim
This is a good idea if u wanna practice knifing as well
Sick that will help me with clan wars because I like to run and gun
please please do battlefield 3 ace. I have no idea for any drills in battlefield 3. Thank you.
Warhawk and what happens when there is a triple cap?
great ive got KF's too so i have sorta good accuracy. 157 kills, 45 deaths, 20 streak, on 20 minutes.
could you also use a sniper and black scope with it
very helpful. Thank you for helping out the cod community.
Yeah sure. Would you show us how people are full map quick scopen? Or quick scope in general. I dont exactly understand
I loved this. Good Job!
Thxs a lot man my reaction time improve a lot keep up doing this videos
Awesome drills! Will help alot. Thank you!
HELP!!! I change the respond delay and then I put hardcore mod on but it changes back to 10 seconds and when I do it the other way around hardcore mod locks it so I can't change it please help if you know how to fix it thank you.
can you make a video on tips on perks and weapon usage in the right situation
Thanks man it helped a lot! Liked and subscribed.
Thanks for the comment! I Always try to reply but even at my size it's pretty tough, I can totally see why the big guys often don't reply
Hey at TheXclusiveAce thanks for the tip but I have an issue when I see a enemy o tend to move the stick that moves the gun not the player an I end up losing a gun battle that I should have won can you help me with this
Great great video man!
+TheXclusiveAce Thank u dude. I'm not a CoD player, but this still works for CS. So thank u m8, ur the best.
old comment so i doubt youll respond but what map have you found most effective for this method?
Thanks man nice vid I asked if you could make one but didn't think you would but thanks a lot goin to try this now
I always appreciate any ideas and feedback and if I feel they're worth a video then I'll definitely do it! I was already planning on making this but I remember your comment and it gave me a bit of a push to get it out sooner. Thank you!
