  • In this video we will show you how fast your raw culling workflow can be with FastRawViewer -- starting from a memory card going up until the raw converter. Also, we will demonstrate how FastRawViewer helps one recognize and analyze operator errors so as to improve shooting discipline.
This is a re-upload of the older version, with the audio changed to Mono so as to work better.

This IS NOT a Workflow Tutorial. It is a detailed technical tutorial.

I wish I had seen this vid several years ago. I have images that look just like these that I had to try to sort through. I learned a lot by watching this video. I have a trial of FRV that I am about to purchase.

I took pictures with the Ricoh GR III in 1: 1 format and RAW + JPG file format. The FastRawViewer shows the RAW file (DNG), in 2: 3 with a pixel size of 6000x4000. If I copy this file in another directory or program this file has only 1:1 and 4000x4000.
Can I use the FastRawViewer to somehow continue to work with 6000x4000?
    Thx for an answer

I’ve been looking for a software that doesn’t wash out my raw files. I want the raw files but I want it to look exactly how I saw it on camera. I do like jpeg colors but when you shoot in raw the colors are gone. I understand that you have to edit the raw files but I don’t want them to look washed out. I’ve been trying to find softwares that makes raw images look like jpeg previews. So if I was to import a raw image onto this software will I see what I saw on the back of my camera screen? Please respond to me.

Raw files are washed out in comparison to jpegs. It’s not the software it’s RAW data. Make yourself a present that matches a few adjustments you make in lr and use it on import so they arrive as jpeg like for you to start with.

i think it's a great software, but i don't like the fear of sharning REAL contact information! i can't find any information about LibRaw LLC. no company entry, no adress, nothing. i would never buy and install software from any anonymous source!
