I admit the localization team balanced it well with including Alear's modern slang ("tell me how you really feel 😂") and Rafal's serious reply. Plus Rafal's description is a perfect roast of every shounen Protag ever, esp bc Alear already knew and experienced the similar losses. (Except losing a twin.) I see the theory that Nel and Rafal could have been the younger siblings Alear lost in this world, which makes me ugly cry with joy that Alear has them now. 😂❤😭❤️
I didn't play the DLC yet, so I am curious : Is Rafal also a child of Sombron? If so, wouldn't the Bond Support be some cross-dimensional half sibling incest?
It makes the Bond Ring scene with Nel being explicitly romantic so bizarre because they have to address that they're both children of Sombron and then pretend to side step the issue as if that isn't just straight up half sibling incest.
