Make sure to use grounded connectors and connect the blank strand to the metal case. Also take note of outside wire diameter of 0.9mm, 24awg-27awg, otherwise you have unreliable electrical connections on the copper strands.
Did this work? I have the same starmount setup and mine is just sayin offline- starlink unplugged or rebooting and never dishy never picks ups signal. Router is on too.
Mine works but I have the same issues from time to time. I have a new Drok dc to dc buck converter in its way that will hopefully keep the dish powered better.
Maybe a month. The problem was disconnecting/connecting it constantly to put the dish away. I’ve noticed others leave the cable connected to everything and just put the unit away all connected together. For me that was a major inconvenience. I’ve had my unit permanently mounted to my roof van now for about a year and it works flawlessly.
