    Hey thats a beautiful car, and well.optioned, it's much better than ive seen for 20 grand and nothing.more than a parts car, take it and restore it and enjoy, ignore the haters of that body style, let them hate shelby chargers, is it a disc brake car??? 😊😊😊😊

      Yes it’s an unreal optioned car. It is being restored right now the other videos are in my channel. No negative thoughts or comments are ever taken to heart. The owner wants it done and I thinks that’s deadly! Keep following the transformation, thank you for the comment

    There’s a red one almost the same near me here in Australia,440, 6 pack,4 speed,air grabber,hide away head lights,black vinyl roof,Dana rear end black interior,gull wing. A friend has owned it from the early 80’s

    You actually could get either wing in 71 depending on build date. I had a 71 with front and rear spoiler package, Go Wing on mine early build. A friend has one also with the Go Wing.

    One in my area back in mid 70’s. The guy blew the engine racing a Hemi. Sat in the yard over ten years. It was a medium shade blue.

  • @TheREALOC1972

    My girlfriend surprised for Valentines day and bought me a 71 Charger, It's not as rare as this one and it was missing the engine but it's just a 318 car so those are cheap and a dime a dozen and since it won't be numbers matching it's time to do a some customizing and make it my own. I'm not building a trailer queen or a show car, I'm just going to put a new motor in it, fix what needs fixing and build a daily driver/cruise-in /cars and coffee car, basically clean it up get it running, make it look nice, out a new paint job on it and and enjoy it.

    Wow. I saw a restored one at the Carlisle Mopar nationals a few years ago, with the same paint scheme and stickers. That interior is something else though.
    Will you be doing the resto, or someone else? Is it, by any chance, for sale?

    • @ManderscheidMedia
      @ManderscheidMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s being restored right now at radical restorations in Alberta. No unfortunately it’s not for sale. I’ve tried lol the owner is going to enjoy it.

    I had a 71' R/T Charger back in mid 80s... 440 /4bbl, 4spd... mine had a dana 60! And air grabber as well....that wasn't original since it wasn't a 6-pack car.... Orange/ Black stripes... louverd taillights etc... sharp car....Drove it about four years while was in coast guard and then sold it for a 68' 383 GTS dart... but now wish I hadn't done that... 😕 both gone now..... young & dumb...

    Nice machine even as it is. Had a 72 base coupe back in the late 80s early 90s. 400 4 speed 8 3/4 3.91 posi bench seat, rear 1/4 windows were fixed 11inch manual drums manual steering. Very plain except the bulge hood. Almost like someone ordered it that way, strangely sparse for a Charger
