    Just the video I needed! Was wondering about the MIDI effect functionality. Now I can use my fav sounds 😁 Thank you!

    Really enjoying this so far. Faster workflow than my previous approach to glitchy drums :)

    Thanks Matt, really informative video, and I'm having a great time with Beat Scholar connected to Perfect Drums 👍🏻

    Hey Modalics, would love if you added nudging to your plug-in. Time offsetting is super important to me and is the number one thing I look for in drum sequencers.

    Is there a way to have miltiple instances send midi to a single plugin of ez drummer? For example like Mike Malyan does here: th-cam.com/video/HSAUJnFCouk/w-d-xo.html but within logic? I've beat my head against this for about 2 hours now

    Can Beat Scholar send individual instruments to multiple midi channels, one for each instrument? Like it can with audio channels on the mixer?

    • @Modalics
      @Modalics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah! On the preset menu you can set MIDI channel to "Any" and that would send each lane in its own MIDI channel.
      However notice that not all DAWs support multi channel MIDI out from a plugin, but in those that support it like Cubase, Bitwig, etc, or our standalone, it will work.

      @@Modalics Do you know if it works in Logic Pro X?

    • @Modalics
      @Modalics  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it should, you might need to use Environments to do the patching?

      @@Modalics I'm sorry to be a pain, but I don't know what "environments" is... can you tell me?

      @@TempleGuitars no pain at all. :) It's a window in Logic that lets you do all kinds of crazy MIDI routings. See here:

    Can you use Logic's drum kits? The Beat Scholar drums sound horrible. I'm very intrigued though.

      You can use any drum sampler you want with it by sending out live midi or exporting midi clips directly from Beat Scholar to your DAW timeline.
      It's also possible to load and use your own files with a simple drag and drop interface.
